After talking with him, he reassured us that we could file Chapter 13 and get out from under a rental house we could not rent, sell, or afford while still paying back our unsecured debts (credit cards). I cannot tell you the relief we felt leaving this mans office. He walked us through everything, from meeting with the trustee to get our repayment plan approved to filing for a discharge at the end of the five years. In between I was always impressed by how easily I could get him on the phone and how quickly he could talk me down after I received some scary-sounding notice in the mail regarding foreclosure or taxes related to the property.
