Needed a vehicle inspection for work and it was time sensitive. Despite not having an appointment, Christian Brothers was able to fit me in late in the afternoon. They were fast & friendly and the lobby was very clean and comfortable. Was a very small job so not sure about price comparisons but will definitely consider these folks for any future work needed.

To start off, I have now used this location twice. Once for a simple temp sensor change and the other was two days ago for a more comprehensive rear shocks and struts replacement, sway bar links and entirely new ceramic brakes to fix a terrible squealing noise coming from my brakes. I can’t say enough good things about the entire team here. They fixed my suspension problems, sway bar links, new brakes and rotors within 2 business days (would have probably been 1 day if I went in earlier than 2pm.) They also have a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty (whichever comes last) on all work. Would recommend them 10 times out of 10 as of now. Pricing is very competitive too. Check them out.

My wife & I regularly visit Christian Brothers for Oil changes and minor repairs. When my Hybrid refused to start, they said that they could take a look at it. When I talked to them the next day, because the hybrid part of the car wouldnt even allow the engine to be started, they said that they couldnt do anything. They VOLUNTEERED to have the car towed at their expense to a place of my choosing and refused payment for doing any of the diagnostic work that they had done.To me, that is integrity. Too often in the past I have been to car repair shops where I had to question if they were recommending unnecessary work or padding the bill. I have no hesitation in recommending Christian Brothers due to their integrity.

Love taking my car to Christian Brothers. They were very kind when I scheduled my appointment over the phone and when I dropped my car off. Fantastic customer service. My oil change took about an hour so I sat in their lounge/lobby area and worked until they were finished. Great ambience and comfortable. Excellent service from start to finish. And car always comes out in tip top shape no matter the service.

Ive always used my local dealer for my 8 year old vehicles repairs. On a whim I thought I would try Christian Brothers for an exhaust issue. Scott and his techs were very professional. The work was done in a timely and clean manner. The work bays and waiting area were spotless. Did I save money? Maybe a few bucks. But the fact that you can speak to a service advisor openly and honestly is worth it.

You can really learn about people by seeing what they do when it doesnt matter. I drove my wife to Christian Brothers to pick up our car that just had an oil change. Unbeknownst to me, my daughter had left her cellphone on our minivan bumper. It fell off at CB when my wife got out of the car. After getting home, my daughter panicked because she realized what had happened. CB found my daughters phone outside and held it for us until we could arrive. Honesty. Integrity. It matters.Oh, and our oil change was 30% cheaper than our dealer (and it was a great job).

I had to have a stem replaced in a 4 year old tire on my Mazda. That meant I needed a 10 year old sensor replaced, which lead to the other 3 sensors needing replacement, the tires rotated and aligned. They even checked the entire car over. They were wonderful doing the necessary work to prepare my car for sale.

I can’t beat having a quality automotive shop in the neighborhood. Boris, Scott, and the team were able to get my SUV in quickly, diagnose the issue, and provide a plan for repair. The vehicle is running great again and I know who to call if maintenance is needed or issues arise.

I have had my car serviced a couple times now by CBA and they are now my go to service provider. they are quick to respond. They are highly professional and I love the automated estimates you get via text and the pictures of recommended and completed work where applicable.I do not trust easily when it comes to automotive work and Boris and CBA have earned my trust.

While they fixed my original issue (brake light switch) and that works great, when I picked up the car a day later my stereo was not working. I took it back and they looked it at it for about ten minutes and said it had nothing to do with them. That could be correct but considering it’s a brand new stereo system (installed just over a year ago) and there was no prior issues until I picked up the car, I find it hard to believe it was just a coincidence. Outside of that quick 10 minute check, they didn’t really offer any help with the situation, told me to go to an electronic shop.Not really happy with them considering it’s probably a really easy fix had they put a little bit more time into it. Now I’ll have to bring it elsewhere and spend more money.

These guys are very professional, honest, patient, and knowledgable! Ive had many issues related to my cars check engine light, and they dont give up until everything is resolved! Ive also witnessed first hand their commitment to the warranty when the same problem arises after an initial fix.

I work in the automotive industry and words cannot describe how amazing this visit was. The service advisor I worked with was very knowledgeable and took precautions through this pandemic by putting a plastic bag on my key. I also had my daughter with me and to ensure our safety, he requested a customer to wait in his vehicle for his appointment. Every question I asked he went above and BEYOND to answer. Lastly, one thing that separates a good mechanic between a great one, is the quality of work that is done. I went in for an oil change and my mechanic made sure to clean off any and all oil residue which kept my car from smelling like oil when I used my air! This excited me as a typical mechanic does not take the time to clean up (especially when going in for a simple oil change)! 10/10 the entire way through!! Having never used them before, I brought in my car to have them look at it and decide if something was wrong with the suspension. They didnt even charge me for the inspection of the vehicle. They suggested ways to address which included new tires, but told me I did not need them yet. They gave me a quote for the future. Overall they were extremely professional and I felt they were much more honest than my typical dealership experience.

When you walk right through the doors you get the feeling you will be like family. The waiting area is so warm and inviting..also clean! I feel as that is hard to find in a mechanic shop. I was recommended by a friend. I decided to try b/c I dont just go anywhere to get my oil changed. I have had bad experiences other places. They were so friendly and did the job. Price was about $20 cheaper than where I normally go. I didnt have an appointment and they were still able to take me first thing in the morning. I will be a returning customer for sure.

I tried this place to have my exhaust check yesterday(10/23/19). I was very impressed with their service and the people working there. The cost is very reasonable. My car is running like brand new. Highly recommend Christian Brother Automotive in West Chicago. I was very impressed from start to finish with their facility, staff, techs and the owner. I brought my car in to have lowering springs added to my 2019 Kia Stinger. When I arrived I walked into an immaculate waiting area. The nicest facility Ive ever taken a car to. I spoke to Marty when I walked in and he really impressed me with his knowledge of my car and the part I was installing. I could tell he researched the work that they were going to be doing which was great. They ended up having a former Hyundai/Kia tech work on my car which was awesome. It was nice to have someone who knew my car perform the work. Also while I was there the owner Boris made it a point to come out to the waiting room to thank me for bringing my car in, I was able to learn more about their business and other services they provide. Waited a long time to post this review, as it dates back to about a year ago when I used their services. Alternator gave out on my 2005 Honda Civic EX on Thanksgiving three or so months after I bought it. Called the store closest to me and they told me that they would be able to replace it for under 300 dollars and have it back to me in a couple of days. On top of that, they gave me a 20,000 mile or 2 year (whichever comes last) warranty at payout. All in all, they held true to their word, got the job done quick, cheap and flawlessly. Would definitely recommend them as they are kind, professional and efficient, especially compared to some of the experiences that Ive had with mechanics in my area in the past.

You couldnt ask for a better experience getting your car looked at. These guys are great!!! Friendly, informative and helpful. They guide you in making good decisions. Pick up and drop off service is great plus.

Christian Brothers is the best! I was on my way to work and my tire pressure light popped on. I pulled into Christian Brothers, they found a three inch drill bit in my tire and they repaired it immediately. I am sure glad I didnt wait until after work to take care of it. I had a super pleasant time sitting on their nice, new leather couch, checking my email while I waited for them to patch the tire. Pulling into Christian Brothers was the highlight of my day.

Will not be back... Today I went in for emergency service, manager says no problem I will have someone look at my vehicle might take a hour or two to diagnose... I go back 3 hrs later to find no mechanic has even touched my car... I ask for a eta on diagnostic the mechanic says sorry wont be able to even look at it today or tomorrow... the soonest would be monday??? News to me, wish someone would of let me know they were running behind instead of wasting 3hrs of my life twiddling my thumbs... in the year 2020 we have means of contacting each other its called technology! The mechanic says sorry I cant help you, also we have noone to shuttle you, manager was no where to be found... As a returning customer I am beyond ticked never ever again will I waste my time or hard earned money with CHRISTIAN Brothers automotive! This place is the best!! I had a tire blow out after work. These guys are professional, courteous, and get it done. I have never seen an auto shop look so nice. I used to be a loyal customer of this repair shop. Its a brand new facility that is very nice and clean. When I took my car to this location, I had no complaints with the work but I noticed that the prices were very high.On my last time taking my car here I needed a new tire. They quoted me around $400 for one tire. I called them up about the price to inform them that sounds very high. Are you telling me it cost $1,600 to replace four tires on my car? He came back hard and said yes its a special tire.My conscious was telling me something was not right here and I declined to replace the tire. I subsequently went to Costco to replace four tires. Costco replaced four tires at a price of $750 for four tires!I subsequently called Christian Brothers to complain and they stuck by their price. They said they are a small company and they could never match the Costco price. I said I didnt expect you to match the Costco price but at some point the price becomes so high that its fraudulent. At that point my trust in them was gone and I informed them I would never go back. They lost a once very loyal customer!

The services aren’t any cheaper than what most Dealerships charge, but occasionally there are good coupons available. Feedback in honest and to the point. Quality advice and not a lot of “upselling” pressure. They honor warranties without question when Appropriate.

These guys are completely trustworthy. I had leaks in two different tires, and I knew they would shoot straight with me as to whether the tires could be patched or needed to be replaced. The tires were able to be patched, and I came away with minimal charges. I highly recommend Christian Brothers.

I went in to get my power steering checked as I was concerned that it was leaking. It turns out that I needed a new power steering return hose. However, the follow up phone call after the inspection was anything but typical! Boris talked me through all of their recommendations, ranking them from highest priority to lowest. He wasn’t pushy about any of them but simply explained each item and why some were more critical than others. He took time for me, one of his many customers. It was a noticeable difference from other experiences I have had at automotive shops. I will definitely keep going to CBA!
