I had a lab case I had to deliver to a patient Tuesday morning after the Monday Labor Day. My package was returned back to the center and they called me to assure me I could pick it up this evening. It was there waiting for me. Thank you for making sure it was there. My patient will be happy!!! They took time off of work and arranged a baby sitter. It was too late to say “I am sorry, but I can’t deliver what you need today”. Thanks again.
The woman working there are:not helpful, not friendly, unhappy, and rude. The one gal definitely should never have applied for any job needing interaction with customers. Just call UPS hotline, Dont waste a trip going to this place
This shipping center lost a very rare vintage stereo component that was being shipping a 26x26 box and weighed 35 lbs. How you lose something so large is beyond me. I was assured special handling due to the contents. I guess special handling means theyll make it disappear. Ive now lost $400 out of pocket because theyll only insure up to $999. Calling a lawyer now.
Always a good experience at this location and with UPS in general. Running an eCommerce business with 100+ packages a day there are the occasional days where you have to take a package to the hub rather than get picked up by our awesome driver (Kyle). When it requires a physical dropoff the team here is great and quick with a receipt.
Unethical business practices. Bad experience working there. Was promised a higher wage when hired but then found I was getting paid lower after looking at my paystubs. Management gave me weeks of excuses, they promised a corrective action but ultimately failed to deliver.

I hope this reaches the driver who on 11/11/20 delivered my packages 📦 📦 on Brookmont Dr. Malvern. There was 6 boxes and very heavy. It was raining 🌧 and I so appreciate that they went the extra step and put near the door under the porch roof. I know your days are long and you mostly hear complaints. I hope you know youre appreciated!!

Package not delivered on time, was supposed to be here guaranteed overnight by 10:30, made it to the local ups by 9am, from Oregon, but apparently the 5 mins it takes to get from there to my home cant be done in the designated time. Dont wast your money overnight guarantee is 100% worthless, and the customer service center guy doesnt even speak English. Barley understandable and just as useless as the overnight guarantee. Had to go pick up package myself just to get it on the correct day.
Could you be any more cheap with your hours and availability? How is no one here at 3:00 p.m. on a Friday? What a bunch of cheap skates, to take advantage of covid hours, a year later. This is a hub. Someone should be here all day.
Information about this location was incorrect. I tried dropping off an Amazon return package, and the person up front was very coarse about it saying they didnt do that kind of service. Just the reaction I got from the person was not polite. I didnt do anything other than walk in the door and say I have an Amazon drop off.
The people who work here do not wear masks during a plague, and one of them was actively complaining of a stomach ache. They are holding a package on a trailer for 2 days and cant go get it? Its a super expensive computer part, hope it doesnt fry. Dont come here if you dont want to catch the plague.

I was told to bring a government ID to confirm the name at pick up.. when I arrived I was then told I need bills or a copy of my lease as the address needed to be varified (even though the name was the same). I just moved and of course don’t carry copies of my lease or bills. If I had been told that initially I could ensured I had the paperwork. While I was there several people came in after finding their packages had gone to the wrong address. Apparently the computers were freezing when making the shipping labels... double check what information you need and double check the address of anything being sent. Also employees were only wearing masks around their mouth with their noses uncovered, why bother?
Don’t ever work for ups they mess up your pay and then won’t fix it. There’s no number to call and the operators are no help at all.

The Worst service ever! If you are an international visitor - they will not give you your package! How do you like this- in the morning they called me and told that I can come over and get my package, and by the time I got there they sent it back to the shipper! IDIOTS !!!!
Made one attempt to deliver my package and never came back. UPS told me my package was at a cvs, then across the country, then at this location. Went to ups, no package, last records indicate cvs was the last place to have the package. Still can’t find the package, the workers at the front were very helpful. Not sure if UPS lost it or CVS stole it.
Went above and beyond to help me locate a package left for the wrong apartment (fault of the shipper, not UPS). Local representatives were responsive on the phone and the driver came back to help me locate where the package ended up, which I never expected. Thanks UPS West Chester!
I dont know who I need to contact about a delivery driver on South Brandywine Ave in Modena, Pa on 1/2/20 and 1/3/20. He drives ENTIRELY TOO FAST! The speed limit is 25 mph and this is a narrow street with lots of children and pets. He races the delivery truck past my house so fast that I can hear the engine revving with my windows closed. Please do something about this.
Worst customer experience of my life. I accidentally wrote the wrong city on my package so after calling ups asking if I could switch it they said I could just pick it up. So I went to pick it up and it ended with a hour and a half argument regarding my package and they refused to give it to me even though I had all the information needed. Ended up on the phone with the supervisor of where I bought my package, which was Pandora, but they refused to speak and still refused to give me my package. Ended up with nothing in my hand and drove a good hour an a half just to get here. Thanks ups you guys are the best

There wasnt a line which was great. I didnt like the fact that I had to use a computer keyboard which Im sure is not being disinfected after every customer. I also had to sign with a pen that was just laying on the counter which I doubt is being disinfected either
First driver gave my package to some random guy. Then they said they were unable to deliver my package to my business cause it was closed, the address is my home, then tried saying I didnt come to the door. Nobody came to my door, their truck didnt even come down the street. Hate the fact so many use these guys but I guess you get what you pay for.

Very knowledgeable staff and very helpful.Driving to the customer center is tricky for the first time but yes its in the middle of UPS operation center, pay attention for UPS moving trucks.There is another Privately owned UPS Store franchise nearby on Paoli pike with Boot Rd opposite the district court, but it is good to know this place if you have something held for pick up.
Most of the time, the customer service is terrible and should be recognized at this facility. There was one older woman who changed my one star to three stars because she was not only friendly but very helpful. These are the employees you should consider.

Best ever!! I had a package that I spent extra for next day delivery on and my husband works overnight and was sleeping when they first attempted to deliver my package so I called and the driver came back and delivered it a couple hours later!! I have had several wonderful experiences with our driver (we live near South Coatesville, the driver is a younger male, taller, lighter hair) and has always been VERY nice to our kids and me!!
I totally agree with the other negative reviews. Incredibly horrible irresponsible service. At least 3 times the West Chester UPS depot has unilaterally changed the scheduled delivery date - all with fabricated excuses, such as Delivery rescheduled due to holiday business closures or This package is being held for a future delivery date. / Delivery will be rescheduled. Attempts to go to the depot to pick up missed deliveries have been unsuccessful. They claim all packages have been locked in shipping containers for the weekend. It would be impossible to locate just one package. Are you kidding me?? Ive filed complaints with absolutely no success. Avoid this place at all costs. Go FedEx...

Total failure to provide efficient and accurate communication. Each employee I have encountered has given me differing information or requirements for receiving a package. Even though I had an email from them, with the tacking number, my drivers license and even a voicemail from them instructing me to come to the shipment center- I still didnt have proper identification. To make matters worse, the employee I most recently interacted with literally turned their back and walked away as I was inquiring what I now needed to do.
The ladies at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful, even cutting down our box for us to save money on the big thing we had to ship. Great service!
We usually dont have any issues with UPS and when I have had to call, the staff has been extremely helpful. However today, the UPS driver left all of our company checks on the sconce light by the front door of our business. COMPANY CHECKS worth thousands of dollars!! This is totally unacceptable and when they decide to answer their phones, they will be hearing my thoughts on their driver. I gave them 2 stars because theyre not all this stupid or lazy.

I was supposed to receive a package from Amazon (a camera) I had been looking forward to, but missed the signature required delivery. I was not happy with the shipper for making it signature required, particularly since it was a Friday right before the weekend and I had plans to use it on Saturday. I was not happy either that UPSs site looked like it was going to bill me 5 dollars to route it to a convenient pickup location, but when I called their support they were extremely helpful and said I could pick it up at the hub. They told me someone would call me within one hour to let me know when the package would be available for pickup. I guessed no one probably would (I dont have high expectations for large company support these days) but sure enough, perhaps 45 minutes later a very nice woman told me my package would be ready between 6p-8p. When I got there right at 6p, the package was not quite ready, but that is to be expected. The lady was super friendly, she apparently had worked with FedEx for 27 years or so and was telling me how much she loved her job, striking up conversation with me and talking to me about good vacation spots and her family. She helped speed along the drivers and sure enough I had my package in hand. I also appreciated how gently they handled the package. One thing I have noticed, my driver is more careful than most, I have not had damaged packages from Amazon like some of my other friends.All in all, this customer center turned what would have been an angry review, into a glowing one.

There is no phone number to reach the location, so understanding what is necessary to receive YOUR package they were paid to deliver to YOU is hidden. I arrived and was unable to pick up MY shipment. The worker was unhelpful and frequently made poor attempts to be belittling. The advice for how to receive my shipment was unclear and colored with rhetoric. What little info I could get on next steps was wrong and misleading.UPS policy is intentionally ambiguous and difficult to track down. Not a good business model.

Never heard an employee who was happy with their paycheck, hours were always short. Havent received my last paycheck and I havent worked there since October.
UPS messed up my delivery and it ended up bouncing around in different facilities before it got here. The employees at this location were extremely helpful and managed to find my package tucked in under the seat in one of the trucks that had arrived the night before.
They were busy but the customer service agent was super helpful and patient!! I was getting the run around with trying to ship ammo and they handled it professionally and quickly!! Got me in and out!! So worth the 40+ minute drive!
Worst customer service experience. I was home all day, driver never knocked.. left sticker on door.. they schedule for me to go 20 miles to the DC to pick up on Saturday morning.. when I get there they say its our door delivery..I rush home, he delivers a broken box with smashed items. Driver was A DICK

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and DELIVERY COMPANY!!! I was supposed to receive a package yesterday. After checking the tracking number, it said it was delivered at 12:30pm. Apparently the delivery person doesnt know how to read numbers and delivered it to the wrong townhouse because I was home all day and the package was never outside my door. Customer service has been less than helpful in trying to locate the package. I was told that the delivery person would come back out today but I never saw a UPS truck in my townhouse community. And conveniently they are closed tomorrow. This is not the first time a package was delivered to the wrong townhouse.
My package and the UPS driver never came to my house, yet the driver claimed he was and attempted to deliver, which was a bold faced lie. When my wife called to ask why the website tracker shows the attempt was made but no one drove down our street. The fine folks at UPS DECIDED to be ignorant jerks to my wife and speak disrespectfully to her. I highly doubt Ill be shipping thru ups again, even I can control it. Just to be known, this was the west chester, pa branch. When Ive lived elsewhere UPS had always been respectful and honest.
Incredibly frusterating... had a delivery put on hold with no explanation, went to the service center to pick up my package instead of waiting, when I arrived they said they couldnt give me the package because it wasnt offloaded from the truck yet and they couldnt deliver it the next day since I told them I was picking it up myself. Workers there told me I had to call the 1800 number to set up a new deliver date, Rep on the phone said there was no reason I couldnt get the package right there because the system said it had been off the truck since that morning. After speaking with the manager on the phone apparently the employees there were just too lazy to go get my package, the manager on the phone (who was great, 1 star review is just for the service center) called an employee in the actual warehouse who was able to bring my package right out. I wasted over an hour there because the employees there are either too incompetent or lazy to due their jobs.

I wouldn’t even give UPS 1 star.. I’ve been living at the same apt building since 2005 and I’ve always had a problem with UPS delivering my package. They “attempt” to deliver your package which is a lie because I never see anyone drive up to my apt building and then when you call to figure out what the problem is they lie and say your leasing office doesn’t take packages which is a lie ! You literally have to call and argue with them to get your package delivered to you. Also when it arrives it might be dismantled and open how mine was. Anytime fedex or usps delivers my packages I never have this problem.
Painful experience, they reported one box is damaged, i doubt, initially declined my claim request, eventually agreed after multiple calls n follow up to convince them that I followed the guidelines. its two months still haven’t got claim, never again gona ship with ups
This place has about 6 parking spots for customers, 2 of which are handicapped, even though its a pretty main hub for UPS. Today all spots but handicap are full so people parked in handicap, only to come inside and see a long line of 10 people. A customer had a lost package and it held things up since only one person was working. Finally the woman helping asks him to wait while she takes other customers. She says she asked her manager for help but they all hide back in the back and dont come and help her! Great service! Then a man wearing what looks like an Air Force uniform struts in like John Wayne and announces that people are in the handicap spots and yet none one looks handicap. So we start saying the real issue is the woman has no help. But he wants to focus on the handicap situation and says its a $250 fine for parking! How about address the real issue? Maybe if you had more parking the employees wouldnt hide when it gets busy. And shame on you UPS coworkers for leaving her alone. Shes always the ONLY a person helping and she still manages to stay positive and pleasant. Avoid this place and use a Dropbox if possible! And btw you dont always have to look handicap to be handicap. But he probably loves trolling this place so he can act important.

This place is WORST service I have ever seen and I have seen some BAD BAD BAD service. The last shipment they lost completely. Now they have one more who know what they will do with this one. The mangers cant figure out their way out of a paper bag. They never deliver packages on time I always have to call. This now has been going on for over a year. If I can give a zero I would.

Had deliveries for multiple items this week, I live in a apartment, on second floor. First day of delivery they had brought up 2 of the lightest packages, and left a note on my door saying there are 4! more packages they had left downstairs, and they were heavy. (talk about laziness) The second day they did the same thing and brought up the lightest ones! and left an 80lbs box downstairs! where on the box it specifically said 2 people 2 carry it! so mind blown about how they made this delivery. worst experience ever.
Keep calling but no one answers the phone. I had a package for the Amazon Drop box, was told it could be delivered went to this location to pick it up. I was not able to get the package because the shipping address which was the Amazon lock box was not the address on my drivers license. I was told I needed a lease for the Amazon Drop box. There is no lease for the drop box. I am pissed because I was not able to get my package even though the credit card used is in my name and I had proof of the billing address and the credit card matched.
I received 3 different delivery days for my package. When I called them twice i got the same excuse that my package, “was still on a trailer”. When I tried to communicate my frustration with the incorrect tracking information it fell on deaf ears, and they acted like I was the problem.I have never experienced such rude customer service before. I will not be using UPS again in the future.
If I could give the staff here zero stars I would. My fiancé had a package held here because no one was home to sign for it. I spoke with customer care, and they told me I could pick up the item as long as I had a government issued ID with the same name OR the same address. The gentleman at this center told me it has to be both. I was picking up an $8 cable cover we ordered from amazon. I also dropped off some packages and he refused to print my label for me. He said he can sell me a shipping label, but he wouldn’t print out a prepaid label. He’s was short and nasty and threatened to call the cops on me for credit card fraud? I understand it’s the holiday season and everyone has to do their due diligence but, that’s not an excuse to have poor customer service skills.
My package hasn’t arrived to my local facility. This was the last place that my package was scanned. My order already went missing into outer space. The tracking information stated I would get my package today. Nothing after I waited for my package all day. I called ups and I have to wait for an investigation if product is not received tomorrow. Considering the reviews on here. I never going to see my package.

If you want to experience terrible communication, rude customer service, and no one ever answering the phone this is the place for you. Made arrangements to pick up my package and was told it was mistakenly left on the truck. Called to see if they held it this time but no one answers the phone. Drove up again to be told with a smirk they lost it. Then I was notified it was sent back to sender as undeliverable. Not true. Two months later is was delivered in the US MailPoor poor service.
Still havent received package. Driver lied about access and was supposed to return. Never did. Driver didnt even leave a slip despite being in the building and leaving the wrong building package

I have never experienced such horrible service in my life. This location claimed to attempt delivery to my home on 3 different occasions. One one occasion I stayed home all day waiting for this package and not once did my doorbell ring nor was there a knock at my door, however I check the tracking status and the driver claimed to attempt delivery twice. Then proceeds to say that they would contact me for next steps. NO ONE CALLED. This location is 30 miles away from me causing me to have to go out of my way to pick up a package of which I already paid for delivery charges! UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE.
Horrid company. Paid extra for next day Air delivery on important documents. I stayed home all day waiting for them to come.After going on to check the tracking, it tells me the delivery has been rescheduled due to being incorrectly sorted. According to the tracking number, the documents went over an hour east of my house. The UPS sorting center is an hour west of my house.

Terrible company. I will avoid shipping through UPS whenever possible. I live in an apartment complex and I am not home during the day. I have never had an issue receiving a delivery from USPS as they drop off all packages with the main office which I then pick up later. However, UPS seems to do that whenever they please and other times they try to deliver it direct to my apartment. Just the other day I received notice that a package would be returned to sender AFTER 12/2/15 due to 3 unsuccessful deliveries. Note that I only got notice of any unsuccessful deliveries on the 3rd attempt. I called this morning to verify that the package wasnt prematurely sent back and it turns out that they sent it back prior to the date on the postcard. I spoke with a representative and all she said was she was sorry and there is nothing she can do.As previously stated I will try to avoid shipping through UPS whenever possible in the future!

Took a package to return to Amazon with a barcode and was told this place doesnt answer barcodes, that I have to go to a UPS store. Evidently, the customer service here doesnt really do customer service.
Driver lost my package and when I called ups corporate they said theyd forward the info to the hub where it came from (west Chester.) well some guy who seems like hes never talked on the phone to anyone before calls me and says that I have a package that belongs to someone else....no Im the one with the missing package. Im just annoyed that the driver couldnt read the right address on the label and delivered it to the wrong apartment! I had to go retrieve it myself and handle it because this ups seemed like they didnt know what they were doing.
The driver called me up at 9:30 this morning (its a Saturday) and left me a voicemail telling me they couldnt find my apartment, and that it doesnt exist.....Well, Im living in itand it does exist! Now I get to drive 25-30mins there and back to pick up the package what fun! But wait, I cant even go do that because youre closed right now. Now I get to drive there sometime on Monday to pick it up! Thanks a lot UPS - what amazingly useless service.
Staff was ridiculously belittling and unhelpful. Left feeling like I did something wrong when really I was just trying to pick up a package that the UPS drivers were somehow unable to deliver themselves, and spent a whole day chasing around. Will not be returning.

Would give 0 stars if i could. My phone was supposed to be delivered Friday but they left a note claiming no one answered so they’ll try again on a “week-day”. They “attempt to deliver” for the 2nd time on Saturday “not a week-day”. I waited all day at home for my phone because I have to sign for it. 6:40p the driver claimed to have stopped by and no one was home. I was at my door at 6:40p and no Ups driver or car was near my house around that time or any time Saturday. I tried to call multiple times only to get continuous ringing. I called customer support & they told me “it says the driver tried to deliver it and will try again monday.” after i continuously tell her the driver never came she tells me “there’s nothing we can do they are closed”. Meanwhile it says to call before 7p to change deliver arrangements, (Im calling at 6:50p). Point of the story: Unprofessional fraudulent drivers & ignorant oblivious customer support. *Note: The Ups station is 12 minutes from my house.

So I asked them to hold one of my shipments, I was told it was held there, I drive 25 mins to the location, and they had shipped it back to the sender. I then spoke with someone on the phone about the entire transaction and let’s just say they were VERY confused and instilled no confidence that my issues would be addressed.

Stay away from this place and the women by the name of Christine. I went to go pick up a package and my information was checked out by a nice older women who left at 8 but I had to say because it too SO long to track the package. Christine was flirting with a customer and took her time to get back to me. It was okay for a while because I was on the phone with my daughter. When she finally came with the package, she told me she needed to check me out again. I said okay and showed her my information. She said and ID was not good enough and she needs a peco bill to verify address information because of the identity the fit issues they are having. I drive 40 minutes there and back without my package because I did not have a peco bill? She told me there is no one that I could talk to? Is snapped her picture so you could avoid this women so you dont have a horrible experience like me. WASTED TWO HOURS AND NEVER GOT MY PACKAGE. I called the laptop company told them I would get a refund unless they used a different carrier. FedEx in Exton worked.
