I have had positive interactions with Angela regarding play therapy for my child. She is professional and I appreciate her candor. If you appreciate straight forward therapy advice, I recommend her. Each session we discuss areas of concern prior to the one-on-one play therapy she has with my child. After the one-on-one we discuss what was accomplished for that session. I have found these session helpful for my child and for helping me formulate solutions to areas I may be concerned with my childs emotional/intellectual/social development. I am not court appointed and got lucky with finding this therapist through researching local licensed therapist specializing in child play therapy.

Don’t waste your money. If you want to pay someone to talk to your kids, she’s the therapist for you. My husband and I were getting divorced, despite that, my 2 girls were happy & healthy. We decided it would be good for the girls to talk to a therapist a few times, just in case they had anything to work through. She convinced them that they needed to be in therapy, and even recommended an antidepressant for both of them. After seeing her for months, we had enough, and stopped seeing her. My girls are much happier without her.

She does really great with my toddler son! Explains a lot to me regarding her findings and recommendations.

I would not recommend her. She was not an affective therapist for my daughter when she was a teenager, and actually dropped her. After seeing another therapist we noticed a great difference between someone who has the right skills vs. someone who is lacking.
