Horrible felt like the guy took my money and ran out the house

We noticed a spike in carpenter ants over a short period of time. AVP came highly recommended from our family/friends. We spoke to Robert, who squeezed us in ASAP for an appointment. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable of our issue. He went above and beyond in every aspect. I would recommend AVP to anyone! Thank you!!

So far, so good. We caught any infestation quite early. We ended up throwing all the furniture out in the room where we found most bugs. They were pretty efficient, time will tell how good they were at neutralizing our bug problem. Also a little pricey for the amount of work that was required, hence the stars.

I was referred to Robert by a friend and he sent someone out within 48 hours. He told me the price and he gave me details on how to prepare for the visit - washing, vacuuming, etc. He was very reassuring on the phone and was extremely empathetic, compassionate and responsive. The representative, Louis (it seems like the same person from the previous review) was even more knowledgeable, thorough with explanations, directions on how to combat the issue after treatment and preventative measures for any future infestations. Louis was friendly, respectful, courteous in my home, and interactive through the treatment process. He responded to my inquiries and concerns professionally and thoroughly. We are so grateful for the prompt response and the very competitive pricing. Thank you so much and while I do not look forward to calling them again, I will recommend this company to anyone I can.

I would not recommend this company. They gave me an appointment right away, and collected our $430 for an ant problem. I had to call over and over and over again to try and get them to come back when the problem was worse than ever. I dont know about you, but I have a full time job also, and dont have time to spend making all these phone calls and setting up appointments. and then waiting all day and they dont show up, or lie and say they came and no one was there. I am not a fighter or a complainer. This was extremely frustrating. I got nothing for $430. I asked to speak to the owner and I never got a call back. There was absolutely no recourse. The service guy Lou told me that I had negative energy and to call another company, that he didnt want to come to my house. Just outrageous.So I got another company for a similar price. They come once a month for a year, or any time I need them to come, no questions asked. They came two times so far and I have not seen any thing again. Using AVP was a $430 mistake.

I called with a fly situation, the gentleman I spoke to said he was in business to make money but not to rip anyone off and told me I can take care of the situation and he told me exactly what to do. It helped a lot. AVP would be the first place I would call the next time I really need an exterminator. Thank you for your honesty

We recently purchased a house in November with known termite damage. The seller used AVP to treat the termites and get their 1 year warranty. Since we moved into the house, we have had an ant problem. We called AVP since they previously treated the house. They were very friendly and the owner came out the next day, however what they sprayed did not get rid of the ants. They also checked the existing termite traps and there was no activity. We called them again a month later to spray again and this time over 1,000 termites were found dead in various spots of the house, which was concerning since the traps were “empty”. Another month later and they came again to spray for ants. Four months later and we are still having ant issues. The people and company are great and responsive, but their spray does not seem to be effective. We will be using another company at this point.
