After going all over town searching for a place to take the emission test I found this wonderful spot in West Allis Wisconsin very nice and friendly workers and quick

This is the best place to get your vehicle inspection maintenance. The gentleman who does the inspection of your vehicle is so cooperative and friendly. This is definitely NOT the place where youll get the ripped off. I highly recomment this place.

Google search shows this business performs emissions testing. Their website states they perform emissions testing. Their hours are 7am to 7pm weekdays (Wed 6pm) and Saturday 8 to 12pm. The handwritten window sign however once youve made the trip states that emissions testing is only 8am to 11am. And you have to find the person waiting before you.

Called to see if they did Emissions test just to make sure before I drove all the way over there. The guy hung up on me after telling me no, without saying goodbye or have a nice day. He was very rude.

I went there for an emission test. There were 2 people in front of me. Even though I was 3rd in line, the whole process took less than 10 minutes. Very impressed with the speed. Ive gone elsewhere and was third in line and waited over 45 minutes.

They dropped the guys truck before me off the 4 post lift. When I made a comment about it and that I didnt feel it was necessary to put my truck on the lift they just dropped the previous guys truck off of when there was an open bay. The owner Mike got really nasty with me and told me to take my truck else where then and then tried to tell me how to parent my child because I used 1 curse word due to him getting so hostile out the gate. The test went fine and was fast, but not sure I will be returning here.

Bring cash!!!! Most places take credit cards, so I didnt think twice about it. Perhaps they have to pay a convenience fee for the DMV? It would be nice for them to advertise that. I didnt read the reviews 1st. I needed an emissions test and this was fairly close to my house. I did have to drive back home to get cash though. The actual test was very quick though.

Emissions testing was fast & painless. But the whole building smelled like cigarette smoke. My car was in the shop for 5 minutes and I could still smell the smoke in the car the next morning. Even if service is amazing, I wouldn’t bring my car back to stay there for any length of time for repairs.

The place down the block where I usually get my emissions done had a computer outage so after waiting 20min I had to leave. I searched for another shop in the area & found Komptech. I got my emissions done in what seemed like only 5mins without an appointment. My drivers door had a creaking noise whenever I opened the door. Komptech fixed my door, checked fluids & changed my oil for just under $100!
