Wanted to cut off about 3-4inches, was looking for a little below my shoulders. Showed stylist a picture of what I wanted with choppy layers. She was super nice & sweet (hence the 2 stars). Never showed me a mirror or turned my chair around while cutting my hair. She chopped off all my hair to right below my ears and gave me a mullet. I’m sorry, but now I see why no one really goes to these salons. Was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I won’t be returning.

Bertha that cut my hair..... THANK YOU! IT was tough finding people in weslaco to cut your hair (the right way!) But she made it easy and helped style my hair. I took a risk another visit before fall and she always makes sure i leave satisfied with the cut. The fade she left me was on point too!

Very bad experience! I got robbed! I thought a blow dry was included with the cut. They used to have prices listed on a board on the wall. Now I know why! I got charged an additional $22 JUST TO BLOW DRY!! My bill came out to $42!! In the past, you could get a shampoo, cut with blow dry for less than $20. I understand the pandemic changes how many businesses work, but deception is never right! And the girl could barely speak English! And she was rude as well. Never again!! BEWARE! SMARTSTYLE IS ALL ABOUT DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES NOW!

Went to the one in weslaco twice. Both times they didnt do anything close to the picture I had.The one in Alamo is really good.. They do a cut just like a picture you give em.Not sure about color.

Asked if my daughter was able to go as a walk-in because she needed to get her hair fixed after a bad experience with scissors.... They said only your daughter is allowed to come in due to do-vid policies. My daughter is 4 yrs old... There is no way my daughter was going to sit still alone with a stranger. Took my daughter elsewhere.

Horrible..horrible ..horrible...I showed them a pic of what I wanted and after the end of my session my hair looks worse then before..they still charged me after knowing I was 100% dissatisfied.. and knowing they did not do what was expected she even apologized and charged me half which was a total of $78 down the drain the manager didnt seem to care her attitude was you can put more highlights if she wants and walked away thats because they originally wanted to charge me $160 shots without cutting or styling simply color

The salon is always neat and clean, I got my hair colored and was super satisfied with how it turned out. Way to go Cindy, the manager and my stylist you are the best!

WORST PLACE TO CUT YOUR HAIR. Showed a lady a picture of how I wanted my hair styled & came out BALD. Layers were uneven & did exactly what I told her not to do. Never going back & DO NOT recommend, if I can give no stars I would.

There was no waiting at that hour..only complaint is that when youre paying the tips screen should not come up as a demand but an option..
