I have been taking my dog here for a few years now, and in all that time not once have they gotten his records correct. I am a patient person when it comes to mistakes. We all have those days! But after trying 10 times to get them to correct these mistakes in his paperwork is too much even for me. There is a difference between a rottweiler mix and a collie mix just as there is a difference between age 6 and age 8 in a dog. If you are sole owner of this pet, why do they have someone besides you listed as part owner?Needless to say I am through. And by the way, I know the customer who posted the bad review of your giving them bad information and a bad shot for their dog. You had offered it to me too. In fact they were the ones who recommended you to me first back when you were a reliable vet. They owned my dogs twin sister who died due in part to your bad advice.
We love the doctors and nurses here. They are friendly and caring, and the front desk staff are great too. One of our dogs has a chronic condition requiring nurse appointments every week. They treat her with such care, like one of their own. I highly recommend!
I’ve taken my fur babies to multiple different vets through relocating, and this place is by far the best! I first went to see them when I wasn’t even a client of theirs; one of our dogs had an obstruction and went to them for a second opinion, resulting in surgery and saving her life. They checked on her throughout her entire recovery and really gave us peace of mind knowing our baby would heal and be okay. They’ve remained our go-to for our new pup now as well. Always happy and quick to help, they seem to care about our babies just as much as we do😇
I just started using Animal Medical Center as we moved out this way and our first experience was different with it being during covid times. But they came out and greeted me and took my dogs in for their yearly check up, the Dr called me to go over how everything looked and informed me of the price before giving ANY shots. Then also informed me that one of my dogs needs some dental work and sent out an estimate listing what all could possibly be needed done with a list of the costs. I felt they were very professional but helped me understand everything and made me feel like family at the very first visit! Can’t wait to be able to go in and meet all of the staff inside!
When I bring in Mark Jr. they treat him like one of their own. They show so much love to Mark Jr. The best of Wentzville especially the lady’s at the front desk amazing.
I have taken my cat Reggie here a few times for shots, but after today I wouldnt take him anywhere else! Reggie has never had any issues health wise until today. He was vomiting and lethargic and I couldnt decide if I should wait and see if it would pass, or if I should bring him in the same day it started. Well It was a good thing I called right away and didnt wait because it turns out Reggie was very sick and they were able to get him in and get my boy feeling better! If I would have waited to call I dont know if Id be as lucky as I am to still have my Reginald. The staff was so compassionate and patient with me when we were waiting for results of his blood work. I was a mess and crying and they truly cared. They answered all of my questions and took the time to really explain everything go me. I am so grateful to have such an amazing team save my baby! Thank you thank you thank you!
Weve taken several of our family dogs here. Always outstanding service, always willing to take the time to explain things, very compassionate, professional and personable. Were definitely a customer for life!
The vets and staff at AMC of wentzville have been wonderful to us. Through diagnosis and the loss of two of our elderly dogs within months of each other they showed the utmost professionalism, empathy and understanding that we could ask for.Dr. Edwards has always taken the time to explain things thoroughly and reach out to other professionals when needed to ensure that our dogs were getting the best treatment. I never felt uncomfortable coming to her with concerns or questions about diagnoses and tests we needed to have done. She always made time for our girls even when I know that the office was so busy and overbooked. It has been a rough few months for our family losing our beloved dogs but AMC made us as comfortable and confident as we could be making medical decisions and ultimately deciding when it was time to let our girls cross the rainbow bridge. We will never be able to thank you enough for that!
Loved Jill! So professional and helpful. She helped out a lot, got us in quickly. Totally recommend her!
Do not use this vet! A few years ago they did reasonably well - there was one vet that was amazing there. Recently, that vet has left the business and they are on a quest for more money and no longer care about their customers nor the wellbeing of the animals they are supposed to care for. They push for unscientific diets as well as harmful flea injections that have been tied with tons of significant health issues. Since getting the flea and tick shot for our dog (shame on me for trusting them, i should have done research first), she has gotten several ticks and has brought fleas into the house. On Frontline, we never saw a single pest from her for the last 5 years. So do your research before you commit to anything these folks tell you!
I am so disappointed with this establishment. While my family was out of town, our puppy became ill and needed to be seen by the vet. When our trainer/pet sitter called to get our puppy in with Animal Medical Center on a Tuesday, they were told that they could not get our puppy in until Friday that week. This forced our pet sitter to have to take OUR puppy to their personal vet who did not know a thing about him to ensure that everything was ok with him. About 1.5 weeks later our puppy was still having issues to which we called to make an appointment and again we could not get in until the following day or so because they were triple booked. Then when we were finally seen at the appointment and we expressed our concerns about our puppys abnormal behavior, we felt like our concerns were brushed off because his exam was totally normal. We pushed for an X-ray because we know puppys get into everything and we were truly concerned about an obstruction. We were assured that an obstruction was not the case because he had a soft abdomen and normal bowel sounds. So instead the vet filled our heads with the idea that he could possibly have Addisons disease, but to confirm if that was the case we would need to draw lab on him that would cost us $350 dollars. The final straw is when we called yet again with a puppy who was progressively worsening to be told sorry we just cant see him today and if we were that concerned to go to the ERSo I contacted our previous vet that we had gone to 3 years ago to see if we could be seen. We were very happy with our previous vet, but lived no where close to them since moving out to Wentzville. Our previous vet had us in their office in 1 hour, X-ray completed and taking our puppy to surgery for the obstruction that he had in his intestines. A puppy that they had never even seen or knew anything about!! Turns out that our puppy swallowed our daughters pacifier whole. It had been in his stomach for quite some time that it had moved into his intestines causing an obstruction! We had to pay $2000 dollars to save our puppy.More than anything I am just upset that this could have been resolved if Animal Medical Center would listen to their customers and see their animals/customers when they are needed. We trusted them with our puppy and could have lost him. I am angry that we had to spend all this money when this scenario could have ended differently or perhaps even been prevented- i.e. pacifier not gone all the way to his intestines causing him to need surgery and colon resected.Bottom line as a dog mom- if you are taking your pet there be sure to be the advocate for them because this place wont!!
Friendliest Veterinarians Office. Social distancing for the animals. Great prices on medicines and appointments. Have an online app. Convenient hours. Best part is they care for my little guy the way I do. No anxiety when Sebastian has to go to the vet. Thank you guys your the best.
I have been bringing my dogs (babies) to AMCOW for over ten years and have nothing but praises… for the doctors, vet techs, assistants, and office manager… This team has gone over and above more than once for us and my girls. So appreciate them and everything they do!
Ive had bad experiences in the past with vets, but I am so grateful to have Dr. Edwards to care for my fur baby!
Thank you so much for your kindness while we took our Grace in this morning. Its always the hardest part of being a pet parent, your kindness and professionalism was so much appreciated.
The love and genuine hard work to care for our dog is unmatched. Our Maggie girl was struggling and they felt our anguish through the phone and squeezed us in ASAP to help her pass peacefully and with an incredible amount of love and care. The entire staff had the utmost respect for our Maggie and when we find another rescue to love on, we will be back!! Thank you!
From monthly flea meds to end of life decisions and care, the type of care you receive at The Animal Medical Center of Wentzville is second to none. Their office manager cares for your pet as if it is her own. I have never seen such compassion in an office manager, and I’m forever grateful. Everyone here is so knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely recommend 100%.
It’s super upsetting for a vet to say they care about an animal like it’s their own but then to turn a regular puppy away who’s having bloody stool and tell me I can take her to an emergency clinic instead of trying to help her.
We had to take our older kitty here because he wasnt doing well. They were very sympathetic and made us feel very comfortable. They made sure our kitty was also comfortable. They helped us through one of the toughest decisions we had to make and sent us a card along with his kitty prints as a keepsake. I would highly recommend them for your pet care needs.
My 12 year old cat had a stroke, we were so worried about what he was going through because he was so frightened, We drove him straight there and was waited on with in 5 minutes, he was analyzed and diagnosed with compassion. The decision was made that he had to be Put down. It was a heartbreaking decision but the office was set up with a space that I could comfort him through the whole procedure.I was never rushed, I highly recommend this facility. What a caring group of people.
Our most sincere thank you to the staff at the Animal Medical Center. It was our very first visit there and they had to give us the worst possible news...our sweet ten year old Yorkie, Annabelle, had advanced, untreatable cancer and she was in pain. The Veterinarians and support staff immediately went into above and beyond care mode to ease our shock and grief as we struggled to process this crushing news and accept what our inevitable decision must be. When the chosen time came at the end of the day, they were so gentle, kind, patient, understanding, and compassionate as they helped us and our sweet Annabelle through her final moments with us. We cant express our thank you enough to these wonderful professionals who lovingly care for our animals.
I decided to check out Animal Medical Center because it is closer to my house than our previous vet and I am thrilled that I did! All of the staff was super friendly and Dr Burroughs was great with my dog. She took her time examining her and not once did I feel like we were being rushed in and out. We are excited to have found such a great vet!
We wanted to thank Dr Riley for her quick response to our sick cat. We recently moved to the Wentzville area. Our cat got sick the day before I was to have some surgery, so we were time sensitive. They made room that day in their schedule, to look at our cat. Dr. Riley went over what she had found, and a treatment plan. She even called back the next to check on the cat, and also to follow up on a few items.
They saw me two different times on the same day! Treated my big pitbull baby like any other pet! They were fast, efficient! Based on all treatments reasonable prices that are explained before visit is completed.
They seem to know what they are doing, but it is way overpriced.
This was our vet for 6 years, until Tuesday of this week. Our 11 year old Dane was having stomach issues causing her to have uncontrollable diarrhea for 3 days. She needed to be seen because we were very concerned about dehydration. Chloe is very afraid of being left at the vet and with her age, we dont want to cause her any unneeded stress. I called and they would not make an exception to allow us to come inside with her. I could have understood if masks were required and they escorted you in to keep up with social distancing guidelines, but this is not the case. They come to your car and borrow your pet, and the way there rest of the process works Im unclear on. I called Premier Pet Care and they got me in within 2 hours and I was allowed inside (with a mask and escorted inside). Its unfortunate that Animal Medical doesnt see how important it is for families to stay with their babies, but i couldnt be happier with our new vet.
Our little sweet dog Daisy has been through a lot over the past few months. I cannot say enough positive stuff about Dr Edwards. She went above and beyond to help us understand what was going on and communicated with us and the doctors at Mizzou regarding our dog and her issues. She helped us find a solution and made lots of phone calls for us. She made us feel very at ease. Everyone in that office is very good at getting back to you and answering any questions that you may have. Dr Edwards followed up and checked on Daisy multiple times. We are so grateful for her! ☺️
I can not say enough kind words about all the people here! They have been hands down the best and genuinely concerned about our fur babies. From the upfront pricing to the check up phone calls they are great! Thanks for all you do!
I do not have the words to explain how welcomed I felt when walking into this office! They made me feel like family while helping out one of the most important members of my family, My dog! I could tell the entire staff was working their hardest, from the receptionists to the doctors it was one of the best experiences I have ever had while my dog was being treated. Thank you Animal Medical Center of Wentzville for all the hard work you do and for the help that you have provided for my loving animals!
I absolutely love your facility. The care youve provided to my puppy Rosie has been amazing. We love coming to your office. Your staff is so friendly and caring. Thank you for all that you do! Youre physicians are wonderful. Thank you again!
I took my cat tiger there about a couple of months ago, my husband and I recently had to move in with my parents due to financial reasons, after being at my parents house for about 7 months, tiger started to pee on things which had never happened before. We took her to this vet, talked about what’s going on and how tiger was peeing on things, the vet we seen recommended that it was behavior issues and that we needed more liter boxes(we have 4 cats and my mom has 3), so we did, we added four more liter boxes and also got tiger a calming collar, hoping that would help, nothing changed, when we were there with tiger that the vet, we also told the vet that tiger was the second cat we got, we had added two other cats and a dog after her and she has never peed before, still though it was behavior issues, I called the vet back about three weeks after changing what she told us to and told her that nothing had changed and I still thought it was a UTI or something, I asked the vet if she could check her urine but she said well we could but I still think it’s behavior and it wait a couple more weeks. After tiger still peeing on things, my husband and I decided to take her to a different vet, he started to exam her and we talked about what we had been doing and what we had changed. I asked what it could be, long story short, tiger ended up getting spayed and come to find out she had a infection in her uterus and that was making her pee on things, if we would of waited any longer, we would of lost her. I highly recommend that you don’t take your animals here, I would of lost my cat if I wouldn’t of took her somewhere else, and listen to this vet. I will also be taking my dog to a different vet as well, I don’t trust this vet at all with any of my animals.
Dr. Edwards is everything I could ever hope for in a vet! She is very understanding with my temperamental cat, upfront and trusting. There is no one else I would trust more with my fur baby! Everyone in the office is always very pleasant and willing to answer any question I may have. Hands down best vet and very affordable! ❤️
Ive been to a lot of vets in my life and I can truly say that I have never experienced a more caring, friendly staff. They have done such great wonders for my fur kids and fur grandkids that I preach their name to all I come in contact with, even those out of the Wentzville area.
Hands down the best clinic in the west-plex! Extremely kind and welcoming. I have been taking my fur babies here for years and would never go anywhere else. Not only are the front ladies kind and welcoming the technicians are by far the most advanced i have ever had contact with. Call and they can usually get me in the same day.Great prices for shots. Not only are they cost effective but they are extremely well trained.Keep it up ladies!!
We were in town on business when our Yorkie developed a swelling and infection under his eye. Id gone online to look at reviews and decided to take him to the clinic. We arrived, without phoning ahead, and he was promptly seen, diagnosed and medication to begin healing. Dr. Burroughs was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and so helpful. Id highly recommend this clinic!
I took my dog to Animal Medical Center this evening for an emergency. Right away, they put us in a room and the nurse immediately came in to make sure he was stable. She said he was, and that they had several other emergencies plus regular appointments, so it might be a while. I thought I’d be sitting there for an hour before the doctor came in, but instead, we were out of there in about an hour. During that time, the doctor did an exam, they took and tested his blood, they did X-rays, the doctor came back in the room and discussed her findings, they gave him fluids, filled his prescriptions, and the doctor came in one more time to make sure I didn’t have any more questions, and she gave him his first pill so I didn’t have to do it when we got home. Everyone was very sweet and compassionate. Thank you Animal Medical Center!
Staff was wonderful. They explained every detail and the cost of what was needed for Harleys procedure. Definitely made me feel comfortable leaving knowing she would be in great hands.
So thankful for Animal Medical Center!!!! They are always taking the best care of our “zoo”!!! If you want a Dr that truly cares about your animals, and has their best needs at interest... EVERY time, then you can’t to wrong!! Highly Recommend!!
I just couldnt imagine taking our cats anywhere but Animal Medical Center of Wentzville. The doctors, technicians, and all their staff have always been so caring towards our pets, and have shown compassion when its time to let one go. I have called more than once for appointments that I hoped wouldnt take too long to get, and they always manage to squeeze me in really quick. You guys rock!!!
Thank you Jill and Dr Edwards for the superior service for Rocky today! You went above and beyond!!
Compassionate and caring which is hard to find. So very friendly and they go out of their way to help your precious pet. Thank you very much !
We just moved here and were looking for a vet. Im glad we went here first. Our appointment was at 1 when we arrived they were ready for us right then. Very clean and the people were very friendly. This was our first trip with our new puppy and they were great with him. Thank you very much.
Great staff. They have done amazing with my animals. And Im always in and out.
Second time here and just not feeling it. The front staff was very nice. We went to another vet in Lake St Louis the next day and after experiencing how they were with our dog vs here, we wont go back. The customer service at the other place from the vet and the technicians was off the chart.
The staff shows such compassion, professionalism in caring for ones pet. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their empathy in assisting our dog Lulu to a better place
Dr. Quigley is compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. She was patient with all of my questions and I never felt rushed. I could tell she had a genuine concern for my dogs health. Her staff was friendly and did well explaining what to expect during my visit as well as charges. I am so glad my friend recommended her to me!
They are so good with my dog even though he can be very difficult to handle. Theyve always solve whatever issue the first time.
We take all of our dogs here. They are so kind and make sure that you know exactly what is going on. Very upfront about pricing and just make you generally feel comfortable. We love our dogs and would not think about taking them anywhere else.
They are very friendly and concerned about my pets. Their staff have been nothing but nice and professional. I would recommend them to my family and friends. Their prices are fair and the wait time is reasonable. I have been there when there was another dog emergency, the whole office was involved with their care and making sure the other customers were taken care. I am glad I made the switch to them and wish I would have done it sooner.
The Dr.s here are very caring and go above and beyond what you would expect from a vets office. I cannot imaging taking my pet anywhere else. I would give 10 stars if I was able to!!!
I adopted a rescue chihuahua and services for her had been prearranged at this office. I returned months later for an international health certificate, to take my dog to Belize with me. I performed research and provided the office with all needed paperwork, processing info, permit from Belize, and documentation regarding what was required. I had been in contact with USDA Aphis Vet multiple times regarding requirements. The vet called me back to the office after the visit, informing me they spoke to the USDA office and that flea and tick medicine was “REQUIRED” for the international health certificate. They applied a topical Vectra 3D 11-20 lb single dose to my barely 11 pound chihuahua. From her neck to tail.Almost immediately she began having reactions, which I thought was from the wetness of it on her back. It quickly became clear it was hurting her and causing neurological issues.Since the application, my dog has experienced extreme sensitivity on her back and spine (I can’t even pet her anymore because it causes her pain and irritation!), muscle spasms (when I called about this, their vet told me “some dogs turn & look at you when you touch them,” no, not the case here - involuntary spasms), body tremors, excessive shaking off, constant irritation (& licking/biting) of her back where product was administered, and also an onset of irritation of her behind (when I called to report these symptoms, their vet told me, “some dogs just chase their tails,” - not the case at all here), lethargy, withdrawn behavior, crying, not drinking water, restlessness, waking up at night, having issues with her rear half/legs when touched or walking. Many of these issues have been documented in other cases of application on small dogs. Dogs have died. I was not informed of this possibility before it was administered. When I contacted Wentzville Animal Clinic with the symptoms, they said “all of our medicine is safe,” refused any responsibility, and acted like it was no big deal. I asked if washing it off would help reduce her severe symptoms and the vet chastised me rudely, saying, “No! The medicine won’t work then! Leave it on!” But clearly it was hurting my dog so it needed to come OFF!Please note that every other vet I talked to told me with the application of Vectra 3D (because it is so strong), and those known symptoms, that I needed to take my dog to the ER immediately. They also all recommended she be bathed in Dawn dish soap and let her sit in it to try to remove it. (Advice!)The ER vet made me call the ASPCA Poison Control right away. The Poison Control told me I definitely did the right thing by taking my dog to the er with those symptoms from that medication, because it is known to cause severe problems and death from toxicity, and my dog needed to be seen by the vet.It was suggested by multiple vets (not this one!) when I called to seek assistance for symptoms, that I contact the makers of Vectra 3D, to report the case and request assistance with reimbursement for my emergency visits for treatment. I have been in contact with them - Ceva Animal Health - who also is very uncaring, and doesn’t want to take responsibility. Reading other people’s experiences with them looks like it’s going to be an ordeal to get them to do the right thing.I just called the USDA Aphis office to confirm, and they read the requirements to me and stated they did NOT tell Wentzville Animal Clinic office that flea and tick (endo & ecto parasite treatment) was required. Because it’s not. When I emailed Wentzville Animal Clinic with this info (er visits, poison control) and asking why they didn’t inform me of this possibility, they again said “Vectra 3D is very safe.” I have yet to hear back why they misrepresented the requirements for the international health certificate, and applied this unnecessary medication to my dog. I would have never used this because I do not apply pesticides to my animals. I will update.BE INFORMED ABOUT WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR DOG. DO NOT USE VECTRA 3D - IT HAS KILLEDDOGS, ESPECIALLY SMALL ONES.
I have been to various Vets and also worked in a Vet Clinic. I think Animal Medical Center is one of the cleanest and best group of people to work with. I have called with concerns and they told me to come to the office. I feel Dr. Quigley has a great deal of knowledge and has a wonderful, friendly personality. The office Manager Sara is very caring as are all of the techs. Would highly recommend this clinic.
Hey you! If youre new in the area THIS IS THE VET you are looking for. Dont waste your time like I did with others.Clean and well equipped facility, the staff is cheerful, professional, and clearly passionate about their work. These are the people you want taking care of your furry friend. From the front desk to the exam table, everyone there took an interest in me and my dog. The vet was tremendously helpful, walked me through a lot of dog health information, answered all my questions, and worked with my nervous dog to be gentle and accommodating. They were very clear about pricing and helped me make decisions both for that visit and plans for the future. And this might seem like a small thing, but they have a grassy area right outside with a pet waste disposal bin. Perfect for a vets office.
Dr. Quigley does an outstanding job! She is compassionate, friendly and extremely knowledgeable veterinarian. She does a great job of diagnosing the root cause of the problem. Her office is very welcoming; the staff is friendly and the office is clean. I would highly recommend the Animal Medical Center of Wentzville.
I live in Ferguson, MO and drive out to Wentzville just to see Dr. Quigley. She is great with my dog. I would not take him anywhere else. She is so caring and loving! She treats us like family when we come!
I drive 45 minutes just to take my dog to Dr. Quigley! She is knowledgeable, patient, and you can really tell that she genuinely enjoys her work and wants to give your pet the best care possible! The clinic is very clean and the staff has always been courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone searching for the best care for your pet!
The Animal Medical Center of Wentzville is a Great place! The staff is accommodating, helpful and friendly. I would not take my puppy anywhere else.
We take all our pets to this clinic and weve always had excellent and compassionate care. It is true that their prices are not rock bottom but I think that excellent service should cost a bit more than average one.
Excellent staff. Thorough examination. Amd upfront with pricing with options. I highly reccomend.
Had to take Shadow in again for UTI . WONDERFUL people and the best service from the moment we entered to leaving.
Dr. Edwards and the entire staff are amazing! They are so caring, responsive to concerns, and very knowledgeable. HIGHLY recommend!
Very nice staff! Very upfront with prices and what they recommend. They loved my pitbull, and sent me written post card after our visit.
I took my 3 ferrets here. I had such a great experience. Love this place I would highly recommend. Thank you
Our Fur-baby has been really sick. Dr. Quigley is amazing! She helped us come up with a plan to get our fur-baby feeling better agian. She took her time diagnosing her, she explained everything and answered all of our questions. Never felt rushed! We love this vet. We will continue coming here for our pup and any future family pups. We highly recommend the Animal Medical Center of Wentzville especially Dr. Quigley!!
I found Dr. Quigley @ a very difficult time. It was time to say goodbye to my 16 1/2 year old poodle and I wanted a vet who would come to the house. Dr. Quigley and Tricia were compassionate, understanding and respectful. Since that time I have gotten a puppy and take her to Animal Medical Center for her care. The entire staff is wonderful I cannot praise this facility enough. You will receive superb care from everyone who works there.
I cant imagine taking our dog anywhere else. The doctors and staff have always been beyond friendly. I feel that all options are explored and we received the best care possible within our budget. I highly recommend Dr. Quigley, its been a pleasure for the last 4 years!!!
I have been using a different vet for years. We decided to try out a new animal medical center of wentzville. Our dog got an ear infection and was in a lot of pain. I called at 8:30 and they got me in at 9:30. Soon as I got to the office they got me right in. Everyone was super nice! I will be back for sure.
Dr. Quigley is one of the most compassionate, friendly individuals that I know. She truly has a genuine love for the animals that she sees in her practice as well as the knowledge to adequately care for her clients. I highly recommend her to everyone.
We had our cat nutered and dog spayed here last week. They are doing great. The staff was very friendly and caring. Thanks for taking such good care of our best friends.Chris & Tracy ReedTroy, MO.
Love all the Doctors! Very friendly. Listens to all of our questions. Very helpful.
Dr. Quigley and her staff are amazing. Over this past month as our Little pretty Kitty has been declining in health they have been there with us through the whole thing. Unfortunately we had to put her down. but her staff and the Dr are great. we will be bringing our other pets back because they are the best veterenarian we have been to. thank you so much for your great work. We will be coming back whenever we need to. (hopefully not soon for our pets sake :])
We have a (now) 6 month old black lab puppy. We have had her since she was 8 weeks and Animal Medical Center has been our vet since day 1. We are extremely pleased with our decision to use this vet after having used Banfield for our cat. (Banfield never did anything wrong, they just never went above and beyond the way Animal Medical Center has.) They have been very helpful, always listen to our concerns, and even when telling them in conversation how stressed we were about trying to find a puppy sitter for a weekend, they told us one of the girls there did it and she came right out and talked to us and gave us her cell number for more questions. We have also been dealing with Coccidia most recently with our puppy, and I have been so so so happy with the service from Dr. Quigley and her team. They are so accommodating and flexible when it comes to needing an appointment ASAP or even just preparing her prescriptions immediately. They call back when they say they will. (Even one day when I called 30 minutes to closing with concerns regarding how I needed to clean the kennel to prevent the parasite from returning, they promised the vet would call before they closed. 5-10 minutes past closing time i was sure she had forgotten, and then I received a phone call from the vet to discuss my concerns.) They are also so quick to suggest things to help with our puppys problems that will save us money, and I really appreciate that. Some places immediately jump to the most expensive option, and I love that Dr. Quigley weighs the cost when giving us our options and doesnt immediately suggest we drop money to solve something that might have another (potentially cheaper) solution. I really feel like the veterinarians and staff here are so knowledgeable, so willing to work around my schedule, and always listen to my concerns with patience. (First time dog mom) I would absolutely recommend them and Im so happy we found Animal Medical Center to take care of the newest addition to our family. I really feel like they have Lexies best interest at heart and care about her as much as we do!
Dr. Quigley is the best. She really cares about the animals. When other vets didnt give me a lot of hope for Chico, she took good care of him and saved his life!!!
I just went to the Animal Medical Center for the first time, we brought our dog in to check to see if she had a UTI. We chose this place due to the 4.9 star rating on google. Unfortunatly, 4.9 is way too high. We walked in, was greeted, and told to wait until we are called back. While we were sitting in the front waiting area, a nice lady came in with her dog. The dog peed on the wall accidentally, you know normal dog things, so the receptionist gave the customer some paper towels to clean it up. it was sort of cleaned up but clearly it was still on the wall and floor. At this point the receptionist should have took over and finished cleaning it up, but instead she sat back down and it was left there. As i was sitting there i noticed blood spots all over the floor. I understand this is a vet and blood will probably end up on the floor, but since the bleeding dog had already left I would figure they would clean up the blood so the other dogs that lick the floor will not get whatever diseases the bleeding dog may have. Our wait was not very long which was a positive thing. They called us in and said she had crystals in her urine. So they offered to check her with an ultra sound, which we did, but they also offered an unnecessary and expensive x-ray. After the ultra sound we got happy news, she did not have a UTI and she also did not have a stone. They instructed us to put her on a special diet because she is prone to get UTIs. My mom was confused how to transition our dog into the new diet. Instead of trying to answer, she said I thought the doctor already went over this with you, and went to the back to get the vet to explain. Then the vet had to go ask the lady we just were talking to how my dog should be transitioned. My mom was not being rude or mean, she is a really nice lady that was just confused, but the vet tech did not want to deal with her for some reason and made the doctor do it. The appointment was over at this point and we left. I apologize for the really long review, I just wanted anyone wanting to take their dog to this place to know that the rating is off.. and to not let their dog lick the floors.
We had just adopted a dog from the Human Society and did not have a vet yet. Our dog had an accident and we called the Animal Medical Center based on reviews. Not only did they answer their phone before they were open; they told us to bring our dog right in. We had never seen them before, but did not hesitate to offer help. Once in the office, the staff was amazing. They were very upfront with their extremely realistic fees, and explained each thing they were doing for our dog. They kept our dog for observation and when they realized our dog was afraid of the kenne, they let him stay with the front office staff preventing additional trauma to him. Dr. Nauss personally called us with updates throughout the day and following week. We have always had dogs, but have never had a vet go above and beyond the way Dr. Nauss and his staff did for our dog. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who has a four-legged family member!
My black lab jumped out of my husbands truck and hurt his leg and had road rash over a lot of his body. My husband rushed him to our vet, Animal Medical Center. They told my husband, we are open but not for very much longer and would not treat our pet. They sent my dog, who was in a lot of pain to OFallon. This is unacceptable! Will never go back there again.
Thank you Dr.Quigley and staff for being so caring and compassionate. They treat my 3 boys like family!I would not go anywhere else.
Always great with my Gidget. It feels like family at the office.
The nicest and most carrying vet Ive ever been to.
When we moved to the area, we struggled to find a compassionate vet till we landed here. Our dog Yadi is our everything. Dr. Nauss treats him so well even though Yadi wants nothing to do with him. :) Sarah is very kind too. Shes knowledgable and always answers any of our questions. Weve walked in twice without an appt and were taken care of right away. Thank you for all that you do!
Wonderful, caring, helpful Vet.
Best staff ever!
