Feeling very disappointed right now. My husband was contacted by Enterprise on Monday to set a date and time to pick up a rental car. Originally we were hoping to be able to pick one up the next day but Brittany to him the earliest available would be Wednesday,today, at 3pm. My husband and I got up there a few minutes early to put up the rental. The girl was on the computer for a few minutes with a puzzled look in her face. Then she proceeded to tell us that our pick up was for yesterday not today. Very frustrating since we originally wanted it for yesterday and was told none would be available. Not sure what the girl’s name was helping us today since there wasn’t a name tag or anything. No apologies, no I’m so sorry about the mix up no nothing. All she said was, “Well I guess your at the mercy of someone returning a rental. I’m not sure when that will be but we’ll give you a call.” I’m so glad we took time off of work to drive over there for nothing. Note to others, you may need to call multiple times to check to make sure they have the correct date and time and pray the day of that everything works out.

This location left bookings open for cars they did not have available. They were unable to rent us a car for our vacation even though we had a reservation months in advance. Enterprise is a great company but I would suggest renting from a different location.

The customer service personnel at Enterprise were friendly and responsive to me when I arrived to pick up the vehicle a rented. It was a pleasant experience. The vehicle was ready in a few moments after I arrived. They made sure it was clean and ready to go. I was presented with a electronic device that made signing documents eazy and smooth. The gave me the car keys and instructed me on how to operate the vehicle. This was very helpful because the vehicle was a new model with updated features that I was not aware of.

Completely disorganized! I rented a vehicle on the 16th and returned it on the 17th with no issues. On Monday the 19th I spoke with a lady in the office and set a reservation to pickup a vehicle today the 21st and keep until the 23rd. Well today is here and when I arrived before noon to pickup the car they have no reservation for me!! I have now had to miss a day of work due to this!I called customer service, the lady said she found my reservation for today. She then said she would reach out to the Wentzville store. Well she connected me to them and dropped her end of the call!I dont know what is going on but I want to know who is going to reimburse me for the day of work I have missed due to this!

Rented me a van that was dirty, frozen windshield wiper fluid and the wipers were actually broken. I drove away and realized no wipers so brought it back. They swapped me out for another similar van. The van was on empty. Why would they rent you a car you have go straight to the gas pump? It was a very low grade mini van that had no screen and no Bluetooth. Is that even possible anymore with a rental car? I guess so... I was planning to rent for a family vacation. I decided to cancel the rental and drive my own car when I realized i could even connect my phone. I’m out. In their defense it was very cold and they said the car wash wasn’t working.They were very helpful and patient and refunded my deposit. Just super surprised by these low grade vans and the other stuff mentioned above. I don’t want to take my family on a trip in an unwashed, frozen washer fluid(you can buy wiper fluid that doesn’t freeze all day long at auto zone), and wipers that don’t actually work, with no Bluetooth or CarPlay or anything like that.I guess I’m just used to renting nice cars at the airport. This van should NOT be on their rental fleet.

Called location that showed up in Maryville was transferred to reservation center made my reservation confirmed address of location with reservations. So day of rental I go to location which was in a body shop and it was closed😡. So I called number on reservation and spoke to Tyler at that location he gave me directions to the location that actually had my reservation. Get to location and apologize for my words because it wasn’t his fault that the reservation center dropped the ball. They didn’t have my rental type and Tyler brought out the keys to all my options which was great normally only get to do that at airports. But at the end of the day Tyler went above and beyond even after get lip from me for something that wasn’t his fault. Great customer service from this associate!!

However, twice now they didnt have any vehicles to rent and once had to downgrade due to selection.Enterprise Corporate needs to understand how booming Wentzville is and plan accordingly (I set my reservation up several days in advance).

I had a great experience from finding the vehicle I waned on line to the short 10 minute pick up and drop off was great. The only thing I would like to see is maybe go over the vehicles basic features where the wipers turn on . . The head lights . . Heat or ac . . Just the basics . . But was a great experience i even went out a week after returning my rental. And purchased the same model.

Pick up was quick and easy. Didnt really like the car, but it did what I needed it to. Also didnt care for drop off. Needed to drop off on Sunday, but theyre closed. They do have a drop box, but they make it clear that the customer remains responsible for the condition of the car he/she just parked in the unmonitored, unsecured parking lot until Monday morning. They also charged until Monday morning, despite my not having the car after drop-off.Ill go back and have, as a matter of fact, already reserved my next rental through Enterprise, but mostly just because theyre the only rental company in town.

We will never ever rent a car from enterprise ever again. We reserved a car online almost 2 months ago for today 2-14-2020. Online we got to pick the car we wanted and what not. When it got closer for us to leave we called up there to make sure everything was in order and ready to go and it was not! they said we can not reserve or save cars for anybody but its different online witch I dont get. Today 2-14-2020 was the day we got to pick up our car to go on vacation and they had no cars for us at all we had to wait at the troy location for a while and then they sent us to wentville and they also didnt have any cars for us. Oh also we asked for an unlimited mileage and now we can only go 250 miles in 1 day? like what the hell. We are very disappointed in both locations for not being ready for us when you have known that we needed this car for months. WE WILL NEVER GO THROUGH YOU GUYS AGAIN! this is not my first time having bad experience

I called to get a pick up less than 2 miles away and had to wait 30 minutes. If they knew it was going to take that long I wish they would have told me and I could have ordered a ride elsewhere. Communication would have been nice. Then the guy they sent to get me acted like he was angry at me and did not say one word while driving me over. I used to only use Enterprise because they pick me up. Next time I will call Lyft and go with whoever gives me a better value and doesnt frustrate me. I will pass on Enterprise for now.

Whish I never said yes to a rental, all it ended up being was extra costs out of my pocket in this overblown legal racket. They say they are in communication with the auto body shop and insurance company but if they say they are waiting on parts all it means is there getting ready go in dry even though you were never at fault for the accident... Never say yes to a rental in these scenarios, whether youre at fault or not never take a rental. Youll end up having to pay for it one way or another. Renting cars really no different than dealing with dirty airline companies.

Very very dissapointed with this whole process. My car was supposed to be repaired last November but because of the GM strike they could not get the parts. I had gone to your site in mid-November and set up to rent a car on Nov. 25 but had to cancel . When I went in to rent the car I told them I could rent from Hertz for $10.00 less for the week and they said they would match that number. I took my car back in on Monday, Feb. 3 to get the repairs done and then went to your Wentzville site to rent a car. I had looked at the website of Enterprise and Hertz and I could rent a small car from Hertz for $24.98 a day and from Enterprise for $34.98 a day so I thought your people would match Hertz again - WRONG. The rate they charged me was $51.99 per day. The car they gave me was a Nissan Versa. I was without any transportation at that point so I had to take the car. I do not to plan to ever rent a car from Enterprise again.Jim Wood

This is the second time I have rented a van from this location this year. Both times I have been picked up from my home on time and driven back after I returned the vehicle. Staff are friendly and personable . It has been well worth it to have the personalized service, so I do not plan to shop around for the potential to save a few dollars .

This is now the second time that I have “tried” to work with the rental car company.They gave me a car with a much larger engine than I wanted which guzzled gas and then when they tried to make right on it by helping me with my next rental, they weren’t able to follow through on what they promised me.Absurd to be told one thing and show up to another completely different expectation especially after they already messed up before!

This place is horrible. My car was being worked on and I was put in a rental car here. Everything was fine, and I talked to the manager regularly. Never did the dealership or Enterprise call to tell me the car needed to be returned. Now of course their telling me I owe them money for not returning it. Their representative Jordan left me a message while I was working, and threatened me that they would call the police and state the car was stolen. I have every call recorded and documented. How is the car stolen if I talk to them daily? I will never do business with this company again, and will contact the BBB asap. My attorney will be contacting them shortly. WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

I’ve had to travel for work the past few months and I’ve rented SUVs from the wentzville location. The customer service is outstanding! Chris is very customer service oriented as is everyone else who works there. I also appreciated the Fact they thought to put an ice scraper in the SUV due to where I was going. I didn’t even think of it and I ended up needing it! During my travels I ended up needing to stay longer. I called the wentzville location where I rented my car and within minutes they were able to take care of my rental needs. I will always rent from Enterprise!

I always enjoy renting cars from Enterprise. Their customer service is excellent, always friendly and helpful. We have rented cars from them for the past 5 years, once a year for long trips, usually about 10-11 days. It does seem to be getting pricier each year and its important to ask about extra costs such as insurance if you dont have full coverage on your own coverage as this can be as much as 20 dollars extra a day. There is also a limit on mileage now that they didnt have before which could be an extra cost. Over all great service but very pricey with hidden costs possible.

Worse customer service ever!!! I’m never coming here again. Especially the manager Dustin Ross is the worst manager of all enterprises! They were giving me a hard time because I couldn’t provide a credit card! I have one but unfortunately I forgot it at home in NJ. I’m enterprise plus member and I’ve always been a loyal customer and I’ve rented from all over USA. They were the first person to give me a hard time! Worse experience ever! Don’t go there. Absolutely excellent customer service! The girls there are phenomenal and so helpful. Especially Maddie. The insurance company was giving me a hard time about renting a car after my accident and wanted me to go to Hertz and they stuck up for me and got me more than I needed. I dont write many reviews but I was so thankful and satisfied with my experience I just had to! I will from now on recommend this place for anyone looking to rent a car in the area. They forgot to pick me up. Took 40 minutes to get picked up after calling. Vehicle i reserved was not available when i got there. They gave me the option to rent a different vehicle but did not notify me of the different price. When i called to resolve the issue the guy acted like he was too busy to talk and couldnt recall the rental when i had just dropped it off 5 minutes prior. They never called me back after i confronted the issue. It seemed like they were using tactics to get over on me and get more money because i had an insurance claim discount. I ended up having to call customer service number twice to get the issue resolved. I still did not get my whole deposit refund. I have a membership and have rented from Enterprise on a few occasions. This was the last straw. I will never rent from this location or Enterprise in whole especially if i am suppose to get an insurance discount.

I needed an SUV for a trip and I reserved it weeks ago and when I got there they tried to convince me a Ford Fusion was actually what I needed and they’ll kindly give it to me for the same price (when it would actually be cheaper). I’m so frustrated and need to repack for my trip so everyone can fit. They didn’t even try and find one for me nearby.October 2018 update:I think they’re under different management. I rented a car there since it’s most convenient for me and a different guy said he was the manager. He was EXTREMELY kind and helpful! I would give them a 5 for the car. I was taking a trip cross country to the beach and ended up being given a BMW convertible. It was an amazing car and a very awesome surprise.However, my engagement with this office bothered me compared to the many other enterprise experiences Ive had. First, I called on a saturday morning during their posted hours to let them know I was ready for pick up. When they informed me that they dont have pick up capability on Saturdays. So I had to struggle to find someone who was available. Then on my way back on a Tuesday I called early in the day to let them know what time I would be arriving and that I would need a ride home. They then told me that they had no one available to take me back.So between a 5 for the car, and a 1 for being unable to provide one of their advertised services, I averaged the total score to a 3.

Used Enterprise App to book rental at Troy MO the rental was confirmed but they were out of rentals.They called Wentzville MO and was able to rent a truck from them.Rented for a week and returned it to Troy.The 2016 Dodge 4x4 truck was clean and drove nice.The morning I dropped it off the low tire alarm went off on 2 tires but when I checked them all 4 were low.I took upon myself to inflate all of them to the proper psi before returning it.Was satisfied with the rental.

Reserved a car after hours online. The location was out of vehicles. I was supposed to pick the car up at 9:30 AM but they didnt have availability until almost 3:00 PM. Fortunately it worked for me. Had I needed a car earlier, it could have been a disaster; for me the customer. More of a problem with the reservation system than the capabilities of the personnelat that location. The rest of the experience was satisfactory.

The car was nice however all of mys Enterprise customer info was no longer in their computer so I had to start all over again.I had to wait, the vehicle was not ready.The car had just been washed however I had to stop at a store to buy glass cleaner for the windows. I could not see out of the windshield on the inside, it was a mess in the sun. The second issue was with the left front tire, it had a slow leak 10lbs per day. it was low when I picked it up and I had to put air in it 2 times in 2 days. When I returned it the representative commented about a slow leak before I could tell them so they must have known.In regards to the fuel level, it was about 3/4 tank so I prepaid. I hope they only charge my company for what we used.

Despite me messing up my online reservation they honored it, honored the price, and got me in a car fast enough for me to make my meeting 120 miles away. Not a good experience. Tim, the manager, was very argumentative and didnt care to provide any customer service. After reading the reviews, because insurance claimants get a discounted rate, it seems they do everything possible not to put these customers in vehicles or to try to pull one over on them. Ive tried twice getting a vehicle from this location and both times after making a reservation with the call center and specifically assigning a vehicle I get a call no more than 20 minutes later to tell me that they wont have any cars available until the following day possibly two days out it was the same message each time. Competitors will be getting my business from now on.

Century Dodge in Wentzville rented a vehicle from this location because they were doing some recall work on my vehicle. My vehicle is under factory warranty which include free car rental. Enterprise picked me up from Century Dodge and took me back to their office. A young lady I believe whose name was Meghan request my drivers license and a payment. I showed her my license and explained that my rental would be covered through Dodge manufacturer. She began to argue that I was wrong and I had to pay a 50$ deposit. After going back and forth with her about the payment she finally called Century Dodge and they confirmed what I had told her all along was correct. She was angry and I did not help the situation by stating I told you that in the beginning, I guess everyone is a crook these days. She became outraged and refuse to rent me a vehicle and the drama began ( crying and etc.). She called her manager to confirm that she did not have to rent me a vehicle. I ask for the police to come because I was stranded at this location with no way back to the dealership. The police came and she turned on the drama crying and making a scene as if I cursed her or shouted at her which I never did once. She was angry because she was absolutely wrong about my rental and I was a minority. She never once ask me for any proof that my rental would be covered by a warranty or insurance . I had them both with me but she refuse to accept either. The other two employees in the office did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue and the manager she spoke with on the phone took her side immediately. Given the fact that she never ask me for any proof of my warranty to cover the vehicle or insurance I drew the conclusion it had to be racially motivated. I will be pursuing this matter through an attorney and the BBB. I would like to thank Wentzville police for coming out to this location to defuse the situation and giving me a ride back to the dealership. Thank You !!

The current manager at Wentzville, Madi and those who work with her go beyond what most do in making sure you are satisfied with your rental. Acts like they are giving you a deal when they are really just trying to take more money. Talks down to you as a customer. Reserved a pickup due to living way out in the country they put us in a minivan. Called the first time when the car needed to be returned. Got it sorted out with the insurance and still charged both credit cards they had on file. Finally got our money back and still got charged for a FULL DAY even though we returned it on time. Cant wait to see what they feel fit to charge my card this time since I returned it.

Everyone was great that I spoke with. My only complaint was vehicle was very dirty inside and out when I picked up. I had to take home and vacuum and wipe inside of car down. The outside was also dirty and went through a car wash. When spending over $700 dollars would like to see it clean. We also had a srs light on when we picked up but would come off and on.

Car smelled like smoke before we got the car. The lady was gonna give us a car that ended up being dirty cause so many people were waiting and they had the sales lady out there cleaning the cars to try to speed the process up. They ended up saying we smoked in the car just so they can take our deposit from us. The gentlemen never once could prove to me that it was ashes in the car. He was just basing it all on an assumption.

Tim the manager was a complete jerk. Our car was in the bodyshop, our insurance company gave an extension @ 9:30 am for 1 day, and again extended the reservation 5 additional days @ 5:00 Pm. Tim didnt care, he wanted the vehicle back but wouldnt give a reason. He just kept getting smart with us. Our insurance company sent us to another location.

I picked up my week long rental at the Wentzville,Mo location where I was met with prompt and courteous service. The representative was very professional and the information was accurate along with no hidden surprises when I dropped off the car at the Elmhurst, Il office. There I was surprised to have been given a ride back to my sons house which happened to be a few miles beyond their service area. I was prepared to walk back Thank you Enterprise for another great road trip.

My experience at the Wentzville MO Enterprise on Friday August 4th was one of efficiency and gave me a feeling of being welcome. The two Enterprise Representatives were not only professional taking care of my rental needs which I booked online, they were also very attentive to all others that were there to rent or return vehicles. Having booked online and going to the site to pick up the rental was a little daunting since there wasnt the vehicles that online said there was. These two Representatives made it work and all with a smile and reassurance that I would have a vehicle soon. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND USE THIS ENTERPRISE, I REPEAT THESE PEOPLE ARE LOOKING TO ROB YOUR CREDIT CARD !!!!! My car is in the shop, I am in Wentzville Misery, My car breaks down, My drivers license is out of Florida I travel for work, I called 2 days in advance was preapproved over the PHONE per Tony at the wentsville location, I specifically asked Tony is their anything else you all need he says 256 on a debit or credit card for 1 day rental, that was done I gave them permission to pit 256 on my debit card for 1 day rental.. I again told him how important it was to make the appointment at 9am, He says we will pick you up at your hotel at 730 am, they never showed, I went to enterprise and was denied because I didnt have a local address, Im on the road traveling for work .. .. i was late to APPOINTMENT paid 120 for a cab ride .... DO NOT EVER USE THIS ENTERPRISE IF YOU ARE TRAVELING, ESPECIALLY WENTSVILLE MISSOURI LOCATION HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND MUCH WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!
