I just want to say the ladies that work in the office are amazing. They worked so hard for me to get on the waiting list for a apartment. Im not in a apartment yet but hopefully soon. I was so discouraged when I walked in there because so many places told me know but these ladies have me hope again. Thank you so much you women are amazing workers. You went the extra mile for me and I appreciate it.

So far, the noise in the refrigerator is taken care within 24hrs. Thank you Peine Lakes Apt. constant service and the Maintenance replace the food in freezer. Kudos for the Maintenance.

Taylor, Nikki and Shannon were all pleasant to work with. The ladies had no problem with assistance on the process and application. The also noticed me in a timely manner once something became avaliable sooner than anticipated. I would highly recommend to others for that reason alone.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences since I moved in. Ive had a few maintenance things and they were handled almost immediately and professionally. I couldnt be more pleased.

I cant speak for the property, I have never gone in one. But the woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and professional. Got me an application right away and sent follow ups.

I was happy that the person I talked to gave me the info I needed. Even though there was no opening she told me to call back on the first or April and I will.

When I call for Maintenance they answer me right away. They are still improving our services and for that I am grateful.

The office lady was very pleasant and friendly, she sent an application to me fast.

They emailed me saying they had a 3bedroom went their today paid for money order wrote it out got their doing the app an she goes we wont have a 3 bedroom till june when ive done explained to her more then once my move out date

This place is too far from any jobs. If your car broke down you couldnt walk. These subsidized arrangements are seemingly set up to leave its tenants dependant upon them. I know someone there and when their apartment was destroyed by the sprinkler they helped them out by giving them a new unit free for a couple months.

Even though I couldnt get a apartment the female that helped me, Taylor, was fantastic. So friendly and helpful. She explained everything to me and was there step by step. I would recommend anyone needing a place to go see Taylor!

Peine Lakes a is clean, well-maintained and family friendly apartment community! The front desk staff is attentive and helpful. I appreciate the variety of activities they have for kids such as a pool, playground and craft/activity room! Such a great value for our family!

Hands down the best Apartment Complex I have ever lived in!! From the friendly faces found in the leasing office (These ladies are incredible, understanding, kind and beyond fair), to the speedy maintenance men, to the spacious size of the apartments, to my quiet neighbors! I couldnt imagine living anywhere else!!

This is the place to go to have all your housing needs met. Well thought out development and everything that you are looking for to entertain. This is a great location and you will be out mingling with new friends soon after you move in. Great layout. And close to some fine fishing.

Today I went by this community at first site I was loving it. The lady in the front office was very helpful, due to my income I was unable to rent from this location however she was very helpful with assisting with info about the surrounding area. So my search still continues overall at first glance I was happy. The pool looks very relaxing.

The assistance manager, Taylor, is fantastic. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect for your family! Maintenance gets things done really fast too!

Taylor in the office is extremely helpful and will do everything she can to ensure all of your needs are tended to in a timely manner. If you have a complaint, she handles it immediately via the proper steps. She always follows through and makes apartment life much easier. Peine Lakes office wouldnt stand a chance without her, not because of lack of ability on the others - but because she is just essential to the success there.

Overall good experience. Lived there for a year. Friendly staff, pool was nice and well maintained. Trash was picked up in a timely manner. Maintenance came in a timely manner when I had a few minor problems. The only main issue I had was a pipe burst in the upstairs apartment (I live on the first floor) and flooded my apartment pretty good. Apartment was unlivable and had to move out for three weeks. They had fans and dehumidifiers plugged in for that time which caused my electric to be double what it usually is and they took off maybe $100 off rent even though I couldnt live there for almost a whole month. Also a door got very warped and damaged and I mentioned it multiple times but nobody came and fixed it. Like I said though overall good place, decent price, and quiet neighbors. Quite a lot of kids running around which tells me its family friendly even though I dont have kids lol

Peine Lakes is a lovely apartment complex! Such great, caring and helpful people work here. Definitely a place to check out when looking into apartments. I wouldnt choose any other place.

I was very impressed with the level of enthusiasm and professionalism when I entered the leasing center. The staff was eager to help and was very informative when addressing my concerns. This is a beautiful property inside and out.

I went for a tour at Peine Lakes a few days ago. The leasing consultant Ashley was very inviting and met me at the door with a friendly hello. Although they do not do short term leases, I was very impressed with the complex and the staff. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Wentzville.

Ive lived in Peine lakes for 2+ years now.... This is easily the best living experience of any complex Ive ever in. The office staff is very prompt, knowledgeable, and more than eager to help. The maintenance guys are next to none, and have never failed to completely correct any issues Ive encountered within my home quickly, with no mess left behind, and with respect to my privacy and belongings... The property itself is always clean and maintained, lawns manicured, and watered, and snow cleared in the winter time. The facility is excellent, including a clean exercise room with cable TV, a laundry room, a monitored pool in the summer time, a playground for my kids, and both a basketball, and a fenced in tennis court!... My neighbors have been great and problem free; the community here as a whole has been very pleasant to live in... Great school district with easy access to the bus stop, and accommodates easy travel being right next to highway 40/61... I would recommend this place to anybody. Its a truly great place to be... :-)

Renter Beware!! The staff and management company of these apartments are untrustworthy. They will take deposits from prospective tenants, and if a rental apartment does not become available-- they do not return the deposit without referring to their Corporate Office. Too many people have to jump through hoops to receive their deposits and etc. Additionally, if you rent an apartment from this organization they will send a 3rd party company into the apartment without you being there and try to charge for frivolous items. I know of someone who rented an apartment and never had pets- and after this person left they wanted to charge for a pet treatment. The renter was at work when the walk-through occurred. The ladies in the office will look you straight in the eye and LIE to you, or they will refer you to the property manager who does not return calls or voice mails. This is one of the most unprofessional and deceitful management companies I have ever encountered. The housing might be cheap, but the constant hassle of dealing with these unethical people is not worth the time and effort. I have encountered multiple people who have had terrible experiences with this group. Pay a little more and go elsewhere! Shame on them!!

This apartment requires cats to be front declawed which is a form of mutilation and which severely affects their happiness and overall quality of life. Claws are an integral part of a cats identity. Thats like requiring a dog to have its vocal cords removed. Im completely disgusted with this backwards business.

DO NOT RENT!! This place is one of the worst Ive ever rented at. Collette is horrible! The clubhouse is always a mess.. my apart crawled with too many bugs and spiders Ive ever seen not good when you have a young child. Maintance sprayed my place down3-4 times on top of me having to bomb the apart and buying spider n insect spray and still I see spiders and bugs.. Didnt last a year here. Outdated appliances not worth what they are asking for. Spiders are HUGE! MOLD MOLD MOLD in the bathrooms and around the kitchen sink!!

I am updating the 5 star rating that I gave 11 months ago. I am 58 yrs old and have lived at Peine Lakes Apartments since 2008. On 12/29/18, the wiring in the furnace overheated which activated the sprinkler system resulting in water damage throughout my apartment. Peine Lakes maintenance hired Sams Carpet cleaning to clean up the water, dry out and clean the carpets. On 1/2/19 I asked Sheri Liford (Property Manager) to replace the living room carpet and to clean the air ducts, Ms. Liford told me that she would research company policy (Capreit Property Management) and get back with me. A month later in February when I asked Taylor Crandall (Asst Mgr) if Ms. Liford had completed her research, Ms. Liford approached me and said, I am done with you. You will hear from me via letter. Since then, mold has been discovered and a a mold remediation company was hired to replace all the flooring, quite a bit of drywall, etc. In addition, neither State Farm nor Peine Lakes wants to be held accountable for my losses due to the water damage/mold damage. I am 58 disabled and in very poor health. Stacey Poole (Capreit Reg Mgr) and Eileen Hughsley (Capreit paralegal) have been pressuring and harrassing me to vacate the hotel and to remove my belongings from the apartment by MARCH 15, 2019 . When Sheri Liford offered me the CHOICE between another apartment OR a hotel, I allowed her to make the choice. Sheri Liford CHOSE to place me in the hotel that I am now being EVICTED from. Today, my primary care doctor called in a report of abuse from Peine Lakes/Capreit to the OFallon police and Missouri Dept of Health and Senior Services. I was visited this evening by a caseworker who has also advised me to take legal action against Peine Lakes/Capreit Property Management.

Great for the price and location. Renting 3bd 2bth, top floor. Good residents, friendly staff. Lots of parking, kid friendly. Maintenance crew does a great job keeping up with the apartments. Some small amenities arent always reliable, i.e. vacuum at car wash, business center, but thats the worst I can say of anything here. Prices go up very slightly each year Ive been here, but the area is becoming more and more developed - so this is expected. Id recommend it to anyone needing an affordable, roomy apartment not too far into the city, but close enough that its a straight shot down Hwy 70. Good, high speed internet is available through Charter. Electric is reasonable. Mail shows up around 3-4 p.m. daily. Short drive to city center, lots of local parks.
