Recently I had mentioned to a friend of mine, Tony, that I was thinking about purchasing a particular watch. He mentioned that I should give Lux Bond & Green in Wellesley, Ma. a call and ask for Alex. This friend mentioned he had been dealing with Alex and it was the best experience he had ever had dealing with a sales associate in a jewelry store. I took the information, but never made a call.One day, approx. 1 month I received a call from Alex at Lux Bond & Green. He told me that Tony had phoned him and mentioned my interest in the watch. He told the watch had come in, and if I wanted it, it was mine. I was stunned and immediately drove to the store.Tony was not exaggerating. It was a pleasure dealing with Alex. He was polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the watch and other products he had in the store. I thought I was going overboard asking questions, but he took the time to answer every one of them, I never felt rushed in the least. I could not have been more satisfied with the experience.As to the store itself, it was clean, thoughtfully laid out, and conforming to all the Covid precautions. It is in an excellent location.If you are in the market for one of the watches they sell, or any jewelry, as they had a very nice selection, I highly recommend you give this store a try. My suggestion would be to ask for Alex. However, another customer was speaking with a different sales associate and was getting the same personal attention that I was, so I can imagine the entire staff would be great.

I was looking for a birthday present for my mother to celebrate a big milestone. I contacted LB&G online to inquire about their Rolex inventory and Alex promptly called me back to understand my needs and suggested that I visit the store to try out a few pieces that they had in stock. We highly recommend Lux Bond & Green. Our first impression when we visited their Wellesley location, it was a beautiful area and parking was immediate and has been each time we have been. When we entered the store they had hand sanitizer available and on all their counters. We noticed all staff had face masks on and kept a safe distance making us feel safe. Then we were greeted from a soft spoken gentleman named Alex Jalali that offered us a drink. He made us feel comfortable and welcomedmaking our experience a wonderful one. Id recommend that you avoid Lux Bond & Green. My experience with Lux Bond & Green was disappointing since they are rude and have no interest in the customer or building customer relationships. I simply called to see if the new Rolex releases were in-store and I was spoken to like a child by an elderly woman. I was told that “Rolex purchases are not discussed in an capacity over the phone! You must come into the store”. When I asked about setting up an appointment she then abruptly hung up the phone. I wasn’t trying to purchase anything over the phone, It was a simple inquiry about whether or not an item was available to come see. an easy phone call to a competing Boston area Rolex dealer was met with a kind explanation that no dealer has them in stock yet; however, they even took my name, said they would reach out when they heard more, and encouraged me to call back later. Going forward, I won’t even consider Lux Bond given their initial level of customer service ... I’ll happily make my $10k+ purchase elsewhere. Cheers.

I brought my Swiss Army watch to Lux Bond and Green for a new band because the original nylon band had finally worn out. I was looking for something that was more durable and water resistant. Joudi was very helpful in helping me select a beautiful new black leather band that matches my watch perfectly. I have always received great service when I have brought my watch in for service and will continue to do so.

I had my engagement ring repaired at Lux, Bond and Green and was so happy with the work they did replacing the quarter shank. There was delicate engraving on the band and the transition is flawless.The ring, from 1890, is a family heirloom and we will only trust repairs to Lux, Bond and Green from now on!

I have recently bought two watches (around 2 to 3 months apart) from Alex at Lux Bond in Wellesley, and I have to say that it was an all around great experience. Alexs professionalism and knowledge of watches made it a breeze. After the first purchase (oris gmt) I have mention my intrest in the submariner, one of my holly grails. I contacted him regarding the availability, and Alex told me that not at the moment, but when they would come in, he would contact me. Time passed and true to his word he reached out to let me know that the illusive sub was waitingfor me. When I came in he even remembered that months earlier I bought the oris watch with my mother, and went above and beyond to make my pursuit of owning my dream watch a reality. Becouse of his personal touch, care, and integrity, I would recommend anyone whos in the market, to stop by, say hi to him and the friendly staff, and see what they can do for you. Very cheerful and expert service provided by Trevor LaMarche. He was very creative in solving a fit problem we were having with a necklace for my wife.

This store should be drummed out of Wellesley.The attitude of their salespeople is low class and pathetic.I went in to look at a Rolex to see if their size had increased on the wrist.I was wearing a popular Brand, and the salesman who did not know how to make a proper knot and had his undershirt showing, had the gall to scoff at my timepiece and stated it was junk.Go to Andersons Jewelers, a real, old line Wellesley jeweler, not a Nouveau, wannabe in Wellesley. I would not buy, paste, from these slobs.Upon calling the owner, his response was worse, so I guess this means you wont be returning huh? Ah yuh, bud, not returning or ever again, a dump dressed in a cheap suit.
