If I could give a negative star I would. Ive had multiple problems with USPS out here. They dont care. First time they said they delivered a package and it was never there I went in asking for it and they never helped resolve. A few weeks later the package shows up opened and put in a baggy. More recently I ordered some comic books and they were placed in big card board envelopes and they folded them and shoved them in a tiny box ruining the comic books. I currently have a package thats been in their possession for about a week and hasnt been delivered. Just yesterday I have another package that they claimed was delivered and in my mail box. I saw the mail man close the box at my apartment complex I went to in immediately as he walked to his truck and it was not in there. Yet the tracking said the package was delivered in the box at that time 3:59pm. It is quite frustrating that its every single package from them there is an issue.

All of the employees that I have met are kind and helpful, however I’m sad to have to give one star due to my package being marked as delivered and was not delivered ....not to me at least. I went up to the post office twice to inquire about its whereabouts and was told “the carrier knows she delivered it, but can’t remember where”. Understandable, as I wouldn’t be able to remember every package delivered as well, however it should have been delivered to the address listed on the package. I can’t file a claim because the package wasn’t insured. Now I’m missing a $100 package because of a carrier delivery error. I’m so upset and hope that this type of error gets addressed and corrected for future deliveries.

This office stole my money because I sent a package to Austin for the next day and they told me that if I paid 30 dollars a package it would be at 10:30 am the next day or that they would charge me 15 dollars but they would deliver the package to 4:00 p.m. 6 hours later I paid to deliver my package at 10:30 in the morning or they returned my money. When it was 10:30 in the morning my package had not arrived I kept waiting and checking the package in line only left that it was in transit so several hours passed and I called the people in Austin who were going to receive the package and they told me not to nothing had arrived. I went to the office and told them that I wanted my money back and they said that I expected the package to be delivered but that the system was not updated they did not return my money and the people in Austin received the package at 5: 00pm. they only made me pay more for bad service .. here are the photos as evidence at the time the package was delivered and they say they delivered it at 10:26 am when my family in austin resivieron the package at 5:00 in the afternoon pickpockets ...

I dont understand how my packages can say delivered in mail box, but not be there!! Ive never had this issue, until moving here. Whats the deal 🤔... Are they being stolen by delivery? Repeatedly put in wrong mail box? How hard is it to match a number to the correct box?? Seriously I cannot continue to have this problem 😕. Actually moving back where we came, and making an official complaint. Waxahachie really, really needs to get mail carriers that can read numbers, and addresses....😣

My package said it was delivered and someone picked it up. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO PICK UP A PACKAGE FOR ME AS ME WITHOUT CHECKING ID? I never went to the post office, I have an unusual name which would not match up with anyone else’s ID by mistake, how did this happen? Lazy workers is my guess not checking ID’s. I’m lucky I was able to get my order refunded while someone in waxahachie is out there with my expensive items. Enjoy you POS. Also there should be a line to call each branch individually, the main usps call center is a joke and didn’t help at all.

No one here knows how to pick up the phone and they will hand a package that has to be signed for to just about anyone. Now I cant get ahold of anyone and I dont know where my package is.

Sending:Drop box items and in-building drop-offs take AT LEAST half a week/a week to begin the processing and departure process.Receiving:Have received OPENED mail. Gift cards stolen from cards on MULTIPLE occurences.Sadly, I use USPS daily for online business, but this location is so unreliable and untrustworthy that I am considering opening a P.O. box in another city despite the major inconvenience.

I see why FedEx, UPS, DHL and other private entities are profitable when the USPS isn’t. This was the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. The cashier seemed miserable. Even when saying thank you have a good day, there was zero emotion. It seems like the cashier didn’t appreciate the job. And I know USPS pays well, so I’m pretty sure I can eliminate that. I work in customer service and know if I ever had a transaction with a client like that, I’d be in the boss’s office explaining the reason. If I could give a zero star I would.

Was out for delivery, never got delivered, and now I have to go pick it up. Feels like it defeats the point of having things delivered if I still have to go pick them up myself.

Mailed my IRS payment from this site in May. As of July the IRS has not received it.

Moved to Waxahachie 6 months ago and NEVER did I think Id have trust issues with my Post Office. This is not the first time it happens; therefore, I want to share my experience. Today I received a box via USPS and realized someone opened the box just enough to stick their arm in. Im missing some merchandise, but luckily for me the retailer is able to replace these items. Ive tried calling the post office, they either hang up on me or no one answers. This is by far the worse post office Ive ever used. Ive used several USPS locations (in Dallas/Irving/Red Oak/Palmer) and have never experienced this before. Below is a pic of how my box arrived at home.

Attempted delivery at 3:11PM huh. Its 1:41 PM so obviously not. Nothing but problems from this post office. Several pieces of mail sent multiple times over never made it to us either.

HORRIBLE! Packages always say delivered but we have proof on video tape that the postal worker is not delivering. That’s theft!!!! Isn’t messing with the mail a federal offense? I will be looking into this further.This is not a one time occurrence & from reading the reviews, it seems to be happening to many people in our city.

Bad customer service today I was supposed to receive the card of the economic stimulus but it does not arrive in my mailbox every time I receive a letter in my po box I get the informed delivered with photos of my letters but it turns out that when I go to look for the The letter that I received from the stimulus was not in my mailbox and I asked a lady who works there that if she could verify if my letter is somewhere there, she only answered me with a bad attitude and being sarcastic that there was nothing that maybe Tomorrow or later it will be which he replied that I always receive my reports of letters that will be arriving in my mailbox and that it is always at 12:30 pm for them and they are always there but what a coincidence that today the card of the economic stimulus was not be careful there in that mail to appear the letters disappear I already asked for investigation.

Worst mail service ever. Packages are constantly “delivered at mailbox” but are never really delivered. It can’t be that hard to match numbers to the correct boxes and if it is find another job

The service in Waxahachie is horrible. I mailed a letter Saturday March 13,2021 to a P O in Dallas that has not been received yet today, 3/20/2021. A letter was mailed to me Monday 3/15/21 and not received by me as of today 3/20/21. Poor service by the United States Post Office!

This place is terrible. How are my packages marked delivered, then are suddenly undeliverable and have to be picked up? This is twice in the last 2 months. Just because the employee feels the box is too big or looks to be heavy, they take it back to the post office to make me come get it. I cant help the fact that Amazon shipped it in an oversized box. The two items were a duffle bag that weighed less than 10lbs and a small shovel - two separate orders.The young lady at the counter was very nice and said there was no reason I shouldnt have received my item. I hope she is able to find a better place to work. This place is worthless.

I have lived at my current address since February, 2016. In that time, I have had an important Check, and several packages that were never delivered.The tracking number shows delivered...but that was wrong. My wife and I have reached out to the Postmaster on several occasions. When we got a response, it was usually to defend the carrier. Whenever I have the choice, I choose UPS or FEDEX fro delivery. I CANNOT DEPEND OF THE VIABILITY OF MY MAIL DELIVERS.Let that sink in...I CANNOT DEPEND ON DELIVERY OF MY MAIL OR PACKAGES.The only reason I give a one star rating is I cant give a negative rating.

Been waiting for a package that is at the post office to be delivered to my house. The package has been at the post office for 3 days. It says my package is pending. Well it needs to pend its way to my house, like now!

Alerted that my parcel had attempted to be delivered. No attempt was made as I saw the carrier near the mailbox...it was quitting time and my package was standing between the carrier and operation shut down. Defund the USPS now.

Ya I forgot to set up my direct deposit so of course these guys are the ones delivering my check a week after I was supposed to get it. 0 customer service. I would have loved to just go pick up my check but they can’t confirm anything since they don’t pick up the phone. Trash performance. Apparently I’m not alone since everyone I talk to about it says the same thing.

Mail is misdelivered as often a not. And not only is their customer service attitude rotten, theyre aware how bad it is ... And theyre PROUD of it! One of the clerks at the counter bragged about how unaccountable they were, and when I insisted on speaking with a manager, he confirmed that they do what they want and dont care about the customers.

They wouldn’t leave a package because it was “oversized” but they always did in the past by putting it on the other side of our gate like Amazon it Fedex. I rescheduled delivery with instructions and they didn’t deliver it.

I havent received my mail in 3 delivery days. Two Amazon packages on different days have been noted as Carrier is unable to gain access to front door to deliver the package. which is a lie as I dont have a gate and the door is unobstructed. They also said delivery was attempted at 8:42pm... WHILE I WAS HERE! Nobody came by and when I went to the post office and spoke to the supervisor, she admitted that some of the holiday employees have not been finishing their route and that my mail would be delivered on Saturday or Sunday. Its now Sunday afternoon and still nothing. This isnt the first time this has happened and over the past few months, my deliveries have gotten later and later, if a delivery gets made at all. At this point, I suppose I will have to go over their heads to a higher level, but after seeing other reviews, that doesnt seem to matter to this branch. BTW, when I went to the post office, I wasnt the only person there with this EXACT issue. Unacceptable.

7/3 update - I just stood here pregnant waiting for them to locate a package for 10-15min that they couldnt locate.... observed their poor customer service and unconcern for others who hadnt received mail or questioned why their mail was not being delivered. Mind you before I drove over here, I called to verify the package was there and Ed stated it was.... there seems to be no organization to this post office.**********************I really dont want to give them a star at all because this is by far the worst post office ever. Everyone in my community is having issues receiving their mail OR getting someone elses mail in their mailbox. Packages are being marked as delivered but not being delivered to the correct address. I shouldnt have to search for my own package that they lost. Since they failed to retrieve my lost package, I had to go to the persons house myself to get my package. Weve went two days without mail being delivered and it wasnt a holiday, the mail carrier just failed to show up. They just dont care....

I was supposed to have a package delivered Saturday February 8th and USPS told me they couldnt deliver cause they had no access to my apartment complex. Funny cause my apartment complex as well as my mailbox is open to the public so either he or she didnt wanna deliver my package or they were too lazy. I called the 1-800 number and they told me it shouldve been delivered and it should deliver Monday. I call today which is the 10th I get on the phone with Sherry, she says she will call me back to let me know that my package is being delivered today. I call my post office around 12:45 I get on the phone with a gentleman, he cannot give me a straight answer as to when my package will be delivered. So Im confused cause no one can tell me when my package will be actually delivered. It took me calling the 1-800 number and requesting a redeliver/complaint for wax post office to call me back about my package. Sherry calls me saying she doesnt understand as to why I called and made a complaint. I tell her no one called me back nor has given me an answer to when my package will be delivered. She says and I quote, I have other customers and complaints to handle, hmm well no kidding you do but you cant take 2 minutes to call me and let me know package is being delivered today. Also they delivered my package around 1:20 she called me back around 2:30pm so a whole hour she couldnt call me? It took me calling the 1-800 number and making a complaint to get a call back. So heads up make a complaint and get a call back lol. Also Sherry has terrible customer service skills, she kept calling me a liar and belittling me that I paid for first class lol. Also when I said have a nice day she said whatever dude??? Lol wax post office! These are the people yall are hiring.

Love Waxahachie Post offices. Everyone seems so Professional and nice. I really love my mail carrier. Her name is LOPEZ. Shes efficient, professional and very kind and funny. Shes on my Christmas Card List.. Keep up The great work Lopez..

I just moved here about a year ago and I can’t say better things about this post office. I had a lost package this week and went up there to resolve it and I spoke to Ed who is the customer advocate. He immediately help me resolve the issue and I now have my once lost mail! I constantly see postal works out even when it’s dark doing their due diligence and I’m so impressed! Moving here from a big city was not my plan but my significant others and so far I’m pleased! Thank you Waxahachie USPS.

If I could give 0 stars I would half the time we dont receive mail and the other half we have other peoples mail in our box. Always has an excuse your regular carrier was sick or on vacation, if shes always out then fine a competent carrier. Ive had checks 2 and 3 weeks late, bills that never arrive. And they claim its not their fault but I have informed delivery and I never get the right stuff on the right days, mail is always a day or 2 late. Packages that are suppose to be delivered are late with the excuse of no gate code, I have no gate!!!!!!! Or animals in the way, I have 1 tiny dog who is not outside unless I am. They need to figure something out.

They are so bad they dont even deserve a single star. Thats just the lowest i, could go. They are terrible and rude. I went in today and noticed their little service door which is said to be open from 7:30 am to 8am. It says to ring the bell for service. So I did. I had been there since 7:39 am and I rang the bell at 7:50. I kept ringing every minute and they opened the door at 8. The man who opened it just stared at me and I told him I needed a stamp because that was one of the services rendered. But he told me to wait until the service desk opened and he closed the door in my face. Just very rude.

I moved to a new address and changed my address immediately. The regular mail carrier was apparently on vacation so I had trouble getting my mailbox key. I received the key the same day that a package was delivered yet there was nothing in my mailbox. Ive made four trips to the Post Office checking to see if they located my package. They lost the package and I still havent been receiving my mail.The manager refuses to reimburse me for their incompetence and states that if I would like to that I can always rent a PO box or purchase insurance on any further deliveries to make sure it doesnt happen again. What are our tax dollars paying for?? Next time I will opt for UPS.

Wowza! Upon approach of such an historical building of the great town of Waxahachie, I was in great disbelief of how such a wondrous national mail system could look so gloomy. I hopped out of my car joyously to do my business. A simple complaint I needed to place on my unfortunate, and quite devastating, experiences with this post office. This was an in and out job. Although I was very optimistic of expressing my opinion with my local post office, my frown was NOT turned upside down! I wish I got a warm welcome and perhaps some high fives as I walked in, but I was greeted with frightening stares and eye rolls that I could feel in my soul. As I approached my place in line, a daunting aura nearly consumed my entire presence. I was quivering in my knickers. When I got to the counter to place my formal complaint, I made sure I looked as sweet as could be. A cute little buttercup one might say. Me being as sweet as could be, I was blasted with a tidal wave of rude comments commenting on the way I was acting. I guess nice guys do finish last. She rudely asked what I needed and I calmly claimed that I wanted to complain about mail not arriving to their destinations and other mail being opened. The woman snickered and snarled as I spoke my mind, but nothing was going to penetrate the hardy mind of United States government worker. Although I was as sweet as mama’s pecan pie, she wasn’t hungry. She refused to even breathe the same air as me and decided to hide away in the back, forcing the post master to come converse with me. The big scary man basically told me that I was wrong and stupid for even attempting to gain justice. What happened next may not be appropriate for some readers. The big, scary behemoth of a man picked me up by the belt loop of my brand new trousers, slapped me around a little bit, and threw me around, around, and away just like Mario did to Bowser in the cultivating video game, Super Mario 64. I flew and flew till I hit the gulf. Long story short, don’t ever trust this post office. If I could go lower than 1 Star then I would.

Ive never had a issue with this post office. I mail a lot of different things and its always very easy to do. The staff is always very nice and helpful!!

The postal service is absolute cancer. My package was supposed to be delivered on a Saturday and when it didnt arrive, I checked the tracking and it said Undeliverable as Adressed and of course the post office is closed at noon on Saturday, so I couldnt go get it and theyre closed on Sunday, which is the day I had to leave for a trip which I needed the package for. Will definitely be using FedEx next time.

We’ve not had mail delivered for 2 days and now the P.O. is withholding a package that was scanned on 11/24 in Wax; the app is now saying it won’t be delivered until next Wed. Guess they wanted to hang on to it for a few more days :(

“Driveway or doorway blocked, couldn’t attempt delivery” - how lazy is this person. I’ve been at home all day and nothing has blocked my driveway or doorway all day long. Now I have wait yet another day. If I could not use USPS I would, unfortunately Amazon uses it at my location.

Weve lived here since July and has never had a problem until now. Weve been getting other peoples mail & our new mail carrier drives backwards pretty fast down our street just to deliver mail. Weve been waiting for almost 2 weeks for a letter that should have been here last week.

Pretty much this post office never shows up at the same time everyday to collect and distribute mail. Sometimes its not at all. Like today. I put out going mail in the apt box and its still there. Plus they miss delivered my neighbors mail to me. It was a bank statement. Pretty scary. But what really irks me is that they dont pick up outgoing mail. I mean how hard is that to remember? Drop off and pick up. This post office sucks. And they only seem to be getting worse and worse. They used to deliver and pick up like clock work at 2 pm. Now our location doesnt see them till 6p or 7pm and some days they dont show at all. And we get double mail and pick up the next day. They probably think no one notices but I send mail daily so I do. I rely heavily on usps and they suck.

To Whom It May Concern: Saturday December 22nd I had 7 Christmas Cards, 1 Birthday Card and 3 Bills That were in my mailbox with the flag up. The letter carrier DID NOT pick up my mail And proceeded to just drop off mail.I know she/he saw all the out going mail. Sometimes they dont even come to my street.They never lower the flag after transaction And I might get lucky if they close the damn door. She/He gets paid very well to be that damn lazy!! My 10yr. Old daughter has had to even put my neighbors mail in there own mailbox and going to neighbors to get our mail!!! I am giving 1 star because cant give none. I have lived in Waxahachie since 1970 and up until about 6 months ago have always had pretty good delivery service. All of a sudden I am getting other peoples mail and they are getting mine. I had a person from down the block bring a very important piece of mail to me that was misdelivered. A very important tax information piece of mail that should have reached me by now is missing. What has happened to the post office here.

Each time I go, there is usually a line. The people that work there are helpful with me, they even went out of their way to explain cheaper shipping options for books. Saved me 15 bucks!

Probably the worst post office I’ve ever had to use. It’s filthy, understaffed, and inconvenient. Every single visit for the past 6yrs has a line to the door, so of course their customer service SUCKS!!! More packages “lost”, especially my more expensive ones (cell phones, shoes, etc). There isn’t an automatic stamp dispenser in the lobby, they WILL close up shop early-this is often. Hate this place.

So its understood they DONT answer the phone, but I would say my last experience with them put me on edge. I have given them numerous chances, but they make the same mistake over and over. I still am not receiving mail, that they are saying is being delivered! I do count on there services so I am very disappointed in this postal service, and also some of the staff. Ive called countless amounts of times on many different occasions. I go into the building and wait at the service door for some mail that may have been returned. When someone decides to come out theres this guy who asks what you want, and off the top of his head gives you an answer and wont take any effort to look. Hell shut the door in your face whether your talking or not. Very rude! This is my first public review and I hate it had to be for my own neighborhood USPS.

If you try and call, they wont pick up. You have to call like 3 times. When they do pick up they will have an attitude with you even though you arent. The guy was talking down to me like Im a kid. I live in an apartment complex and they put my $80 phone case in someone elses mailbox. Thank God they brought it to me or I wouldnt have one.

I dont know who runs this US post office but I sure hope they get in contact with me personally. I put a hold on my mail and after 8 days of coming to try and pick it up the clerk wants to tell me that the postman has all my mail and that hes carrying it on him. whats the point of me putting a hold on my mail if the mailman is going to carry it around with him when I when I can come get it myself and hes deliberately not putting the mail in my mailbox for over a week.

I just watched a postal carrier deliver a package across the street from me. The residents werent home so instead of setting the package by the door she just chunked it down as she was walking away. Wow wow wow if thats how they handle the mail I think Ill just pick mine up. Way to go Waxahachie

I rarely have packages delivered on time, if at all, from this location. I was expecting a very important package in the mail today and took a day off work to make sure I was home to receive it. I spent all day within earshot of the door, and at 6pm received a notification saying Sorry We Missed You, that a delivery attempt was made, and that I was free to stop by the Post Office with the piece of paper they left on my door to pick up my package... only there was never anything left on my door. And of course its Saturday after 6pm, so they will be closed until Monday. This happens frequently.Additionally, I have stayed on the phone well over two hours to try to reach this location, including keeping it on speaker and driving to their location. While on hold, I asked the man at the counter if he has any calls waiting for him and he said no. So the other reviews claiming this location never answers its phone appear to be true.

If you have a choice, NEVER use USPS. Literally every package I have ever gotten from them has been damaged, or the driver attempted delivery, and by attempted I mean they just put the we attempted delivery slip, without ever actually trying. Their delivery people are the worst, bar none. They will waste your money by making your 2-Day delivery into a 2-Week ordeal, making you drive to them to receive the package that they should have delivered to you, then charge you to send back a package they damaged. Absolutely disgraceful, acquire a carrier pigeon, pack mule, or even get/deliver the mail yourself before chosing USPS.

Called me and told me my package was going to be twice the price and then when I checked on my shipping software and found out they were wrong, they wouldnt answer the phone. I called over and over so now my customer is going to have to pay the difference or they wont deliver!

Never get you packages on time. Very rude staff. Anybody else having this problem you can report them to the government. Just did this myself. This place is horrible. Sure hope they do something about the lazy lazy staff that picks who they help.

They sent a certified letter clearly addressed to Waxahachie onto Trinidad!!!How does someone lose a certified letter with a tracking number? And they did not return my calls.

Not helpful on phone. you either need to re-train your employees or hire new ones. they dont provide quality service, which if yall did... youd have a higher review than a 1.Guaranteed delivery today, one item was delivered and soon after the other was marked carrier not able to make it to your front door... not able to carry a 2lb box, 20 feet to a door, that isnt blocked?Im calling that a lie, laziness, forgetfulness or combination of the three.They will say they attempted a delivery. Unfortunately with home cameras, that will prove they are lying and simply stick a piece of paper in your mailbox claiming they can’t make it to a door.

Always getting other peoples mail. A card supposed to come to me for my birthday that had cash in it went missing. My apartment manager finds my mail on top of the mail boxes cuz other people get my mail. And I get my mail shoved in my front door cuz other neighbors get my mail and are nice enough to hand deliver it to my door.

Always friendly and helpful. We have had issues with receiving mail in Waxahachie, but impossible to know if it was on our end or the senders.

I had a package that was sent to fedex fedex sent it to the post office they sent it out for delivery. The mail lady scanned it as not a good address while she was sitting in front of my house is what I was told by the Waxahachie post office. It has been sent back to the shipper. This isnt the first time she has screwed up mail. I have filed a complaint with the post office before about her, now Im filing a complaint with usps not messing with this post office anymore. This post office SUCKS!!!!

My wife went to pick up a package for me and she arrived at 4:30 on the dot. They purposefully locked her out and then when she rang the doorbell for service the only response was go home, we closed.

I order 3 day shipping from USPS 11 days later i find out my package is in Crandall tx wich i live in waxahachie tx i ask Crandall when i will recive my package, im told next day. 2 days later still no package, rude staff when you ask staff about package they only complain about the job they are getting paid to do and how many packages they process every day, im like really i only called about mine! Absolute worst customer service ever. had a package lost and forgot my receipt so i called them to try and track another receipt down using my credit card and the postal worker that answered the phone was incredibly rude and did not try to help at all. never go here cause they will not work with you or have any form of customer support.

Service is horrendously horrible if not just plain rediculous i mean most of the employees are over 90 then the younger ones are at best uneducated if not just plain stupid but look at the rest of waxahachie i mean id rather have the post office workers on the police force and the worthless cops should work at walmart then maybe things would be a little better in this toilet of texas..

Probably the Worst around.. and have to many problems to list with the inefficiency of the running of this location... incorrect mail put in box and many important documents never delivered. or showed up three months later... ridiculous... this is Not a service...

You need a second line to the office. I have been trying to get a hold of someone for an hour and everytime i call its busy. Not only that but ive been waiting for my package to arrive and when i check the tracking it says it was suppose to be here 2 days ago and still no pavkage.

Horible service. They have no idea what the heck is going on half the time or how to manage what they do know. Which is very little!

This postal service is just down right awful. This is now the 3rd occasion I have been given notification that a package has been delivered with no package to be found. And even worse, everytime Ive called, this group of employees thinks its OK to leave the phone off the hook. Ive gotten nothing but a busy signal everytime this has happened and now Im going on 2 hours!

Worst Post Office Ever!! Never answer their phones and the rudest staff! Ridiculous! Customer Service is nonexistent!

My packages say porch delivery and they are not. I am home!! I have the laziest post person in all of Waxahachie Texas!!!

This is honestly the worst postal service I have ever dealt with.

The usps is the biggest wast of tax payer dollors. 47 BILLION in the hole since 2006. 1st quarter of 2015, it wasted 1.5 billion in the red. I vote to shut it down.

The mail is never in the box by the posted time and they will stuff your box so full that you cant even remove your items without ripping them apart unless you ask an associate to assist you from the other side.

A very courteous gentleman answered the phone promptly and solved my problem in 3 minutes.....great job!

Instead of leaving a note telling me to pick up my package at their office they left in the rain for it to get drenched in water. Awful service

I always have to hunt down my packages they are never delivered down the driveway to my house since the first house burned down.
