Wife had been going here for a while with no complaints. Today, it seems the therapist thought it was okay to massage my wifes vaginal area as well. Then had the nerve to insinuate that he thought through their communication it was something she wanted, which she didnt. But lets say for the sake of argument it was true. You sir are supposed to be a professional. In healthcare if a patient tells me to do something inappropriate i dont go along with it just because a patient asks. Theres boundaries you should never cross and you guys certainly crossed those lines today.
I scheduled an appointment for 3 weeks in advance. Im a little early arriving at the business for my scheduled time. So I’m sitting in my car waiting to go in (still 15 min early) I received a call from the business saying the therapist had to leave early because she was ill. I understand getting Sick does not come at scheduled times. So being disappointed after looking forward to this session for 3 weeks I rescheduled for following week. So I wait anxiously for the next scheduled appointment. One hour before my scheduled time I receive another phone call from the business saying my therapist no longer works there. They will need to reschedule me at a later time. My time is limited and valuable too.Mind you when I made the appt the first time I was told that if I needed to cancel or change I needed to give them 24 hours notice or they would STILL charge me for the scheduled session. However, they cancelled 15 min before on the first appt and 1 hour on the second one yet I don’t get any compensation??
Brianna was a great massage therapist! Made sure I was comfortable the whole time and really cared for me as a customer. Definitely asking for her next time!
Not to happy. I got a certificate for Mother’s Day and I was so excited to feel relaxed. I did not feel relaxed when I left. I was in so much pain. I specifically told the young lady who did the massage I did not want a deep tissue massage. I was literally in pain the whole time. I told her a couple times what she was doing was hurting and she just kept doing it. I think I was in more pain when I left, than I was when I arrived.Literally felt like I had internal bruises the next day. She also talked time. A part of me felt like she was talking to try to distract me from the pain.Definitely not going to this location ever again!
Superior customer service here from the moment you walk in the door to leaving the establishment. We had a couples massage, best treatment ever! Made us realize we needed this so we are very grateful for our therapists making us feel like a million bucks! Thank you,ladies!

So I just changed my last review from 5 stars to this, as, I froze billing on my account in March due to COVID. After this location reopened post COVID, they still did not have weekend or evening appointments, so they refunded me Junes payment and froze my account again. I spoke to them again in October and requested since they still had no appointments available evenings or weekends to cancel my service. I see that they charged me this week, so I called the Waxahachie location today and spoke with Jiselle. I explained the above to her and she asked me to fix it. I let her know that they needed to work to fix it. Later, I get called from a lady who stated she was the manager and some man who spoke over everyone, so the best I could understand was Max got on the call and was so unprofessional and rude. He said he heard the conversation I had with Jiselle and that I cussed at her. If you had heard the conversation, you would know that I in fact did not. He continued to speak over me and said that he would explain the verbage to me the difference between freeze and cancel. I let him know I knew the difference. He interrupted yet again and said he was the highest law of the land. I let him know that they still owed me additional services already paid for for a year now. Now I have been a customer there for a long time and instead if taking that into considerarion, he wanted to flex his limited authority and let me know I cant come back to the Waxahachie Massage Envy. You still owe me for services I prepaid for. You are not the highest law of the land as you say, and I will let the public and your corporate office know. If you had listened to the call, you would have heard me tell Jiselle that this wasnt her fault. She clearly works for a poorly ran business and a person who thinks he told me. If you think stealing from your customers and yelling with attitude is a good way to run a business, then acknowledge your attitude and continue with it anyway l, then you are also stupid in addition to rude and a thief.
My husband and I had a couple’s massage!!! Natalie and Jarod were amazing. The massages were exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!!!
This is the most relaxing and peaceful place i’ve been to. The receptionist, Jizelle, was so welcoming and nice. 10/10 recommend.

Ive had 3 massages since signing my membership and loved them! Nice staff who greet you and answer the phones!Now with their new policy, the client and massage therapist must wear a mask during the massage. I respect their decision for this new rule. But not everyone wants to wear a mask during a massage and thats my right. Im not trying to put anyone at risk by not wearing one, I simply asked to be released from my contract due to this unforeseen new policy, that I am not comfortable with or want to move forward with in my membership. M.E. will only let you freeze your membership which prolongs your yearly membership, after your 6month hold. They wont take Covid and their new policy into consideration for cxling.I think this is poor customer service. I wouldnt be wanting to cxl if their policies remained the same as when I signed my contract. So for this reason, I personally dont recommend Massage Envy.
The people here are fineMy mother and me signed the 12 month contract and we are seriously regretting it. Still waiting for corporate to call me back but until then my mom cant get a massage, even though she has paid for over 8 massages she has yet to use and even though she offered to pay in cash and even though her contract ended in July.I personally wanted to cancel my contract 4 months early and they have absolutely no options, not even a fee to pay so be aware of that, its my fault for not thinking to ask that when i signed the contract.
I have never had a massage in my life, but a friend convinced me to get one and I bought a Years membership that day. These people are very nice, and do just what you want to make sure that you have a comfortable and relaxing experience. If youve never tried massage, try this. And dont forget the little extras like foot treatments and aromatherapy. You get those in the session with no extra time and very little cost, even free with a membership.
I went into Massage Envy today in Waxahachie for the first time the location is great and the inside of the building is beautiful and they even had flavored lemon cucumber water which was delicious. I received a deep tissue massage from Elena today I highly recommend her she was fantastic and worked all the knots and Kinks out of my back I feel a hundred percent better thanks to her. I will definitely be back for more massages.
Update 6/21/19They have me email them like they want to help just to tell me again to give it to a family or friend. Why would I send a friend or family member to an unhelpful place with bad reviews? Also how are you going to have a website with no prices? Not very customer friendly.Was given a gift card and have no reason or want to use it for this place, back of card says nothing about it not being refundable. I call to check if i can return the card and was told no that I would have to use it or give it to someone else. Guess that was a waste of money.
Good quality massage and peace atmosphere
Massage girl called in sick but I didnt get the message until I had driven all the way to Waxahachie for my appointment. I get it that sick happens, but why couldnt they call in another massage person?They called my office number and offered me an earlier slot, but it wouldnt have worked for me anyway. Then they offered me a 4:30 PM slot but that was when I would be in the middle of fixing dinner.I ended up settling for a slot a WHOLE WEEK later. Because of that I have to rearrange my entire Saturday for an 11:00 appointment. Im not happy about it at all. I tried rebooking the appointment at a more convenient time, but there were NO available appointments in October!!They never told my husband that we were supposed to book our appointments AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCE when they were running our credit card payment for the membership. Even so, there were no slots available no matter how hard I tried to make an appointment - on any day of the week!I dont know what their problem is, but I think its a management issue for not having enough staff members for all the members they sell on signing up.

This is a good place for people to go to for their first massage, just like many other professional massage therapy establishment. I felt safe and secure at this location. The establishment was very clean. The massage therapist applied the amount of pressure that I requested.
If I could give a negative star for this place I would.... absolutely THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced as “a member” and the over turn of therapists here is shocking. Take my advice and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on the services they provide.
I have been to many Massage Envy locations, but today was my first experience at Waxahachie. My session was with Alaina and she is a phenomenal and gifted therapist. In my experience, a deep tissue massage can feel a little rough and disjointed. Alaina was able to achieve the deep pressure and intensity that I was looking for while keeping things smooth and relaxing. I could tell she was making mindful customizations to her technique to meet my specific needs and I’m so appreciative. Sincerely the best massage I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Great service but one side of my body was done totally different than the other. Missed my gluteus and lower back on my left and pretty much skipped the right side of my back. Then I only received a 45 min massage when I paid for an hour.
As im reading the reviews i can agree that the experience i have had at this location hasnt been the best all the massage therapist i have had here have been mediocre and when one decided to use gloves i was done i almost wanted to get off the massage table plus this tech wasnt good at giving massages i felt every inch of that latex glove she used make sure you request no gloves because ive never received a massage with someone wearing gloves for the past 15 years of getting massages smh and n3xt time ill make sure i pay attention to the time i hope they not giving 45 min massages it should at least be 50 or 55 min

This would have been my second time going there, but unfortunately after waiting close to 30 mins for my appointment I finally left 10 mins after my scheduled time. In alerting the staff that I was leaving after waiting and receiving no communication they actually looked shocked and said the therapist was running late from her previous appt.....well that probably would have been valuable to share when I was waiting in the serenity room. The reality is I would have likely stayed if any of the three therapist who left while I was waiting had said something or the young man that checked me in, because I was the ONLY person waiting, so they didnt loose track of me. Communication is key.
Relaxing environment and pleasant front desk staff. Massage therapist was not able to perform full massage in hour time limit but I did walk away with my back feeling moderately better.
I have never stepped inside this location but I know 2 girls that work there, actually one got fired for asking about what was the actual pay going to be for training. Now when they were hiring the owner hired both of these girls and said that the store would open in March...they gave their notices and then was told that the opening was pushed back...again and again....until it finally opened in June. The one who is no longer there was told she was conisistent with her hours....well these girls get ready for work and at the last minute get a text or call saying we have too many scheduled to work and not enough clients so dont come in. Well then after training and working they get told that they wont receive their checks until the 15th....Today is the 15th and when they called they were told oh since you dont work here we mailed it on the 7th....no check has arrived. The other one was told (who still works there) that they messed up on the checks so they have to redo them....everyone else has got paid when they were suppose to. To the Owner of this place....I am not sure how you can treat these girls like that and think its ok. Its not. They were waiting for months and were excited about the new store opening up and you treat them like this. Why dont you act like a professional and treat your employees with respect. I will never go to a Massage Envy knowing that they let people who represent their company and image this way.I had to give it a star otherwise I could not write this reviewOne more thing, how do you tell a pregnant woman who has morning sickness but still shows up to work that she cant use the bathroom or break room and has to go outside to throw up?
I normally go to the Cedar Hill location but I tried this location because its closer to my house Elena whats my masseuse she was very timid it was like getting a massage from a kid

Two weeks ago I decided to give myself a massage on this site. I am a hard-working person and needed a relaxing massage to de-stress myself. I made the appointment directly the day before at the establishment and chose a girl as a masseuse. I do not remember his name. I had the appointment at 10 am and I arrived about 15 minutes before the appointment to give me time to do the questionnaire. When I arrived they treated me kindly, everything went very well until I put on the questionnaire that I was then two months pregnant. They did not want to massage me, they said that the professional who was there was not qualified to massage a woman in my state. I told him that a pregnant woman was not a sick person and that a relaxation massage is not contraindicated for anyone and anyway I wonder what kind of preparation these masseurs have to not know how to treat a pregnant woman ... That day they did not want take care of me because I told them that in order not to make the trip in vain from my house to there to do a skin cleaning, there the belly is not touched, if that was the concern of those people, who wanted to go home somehow satisfied But no, they told me that they were not going to see me that day, they told me to make a new appointment while I was already there. They refused to attend to me, they asked me for some aseptic apologies and after this I left very angry at the uselessness of the people who work there. My experience with Envy Massage was totally frustrating and irritating. I went home very sad because I thought it could be a great place, but no. They dont know or dont want to do anything. To know how they will do things there. A total lack of professionalism and of knowing how to treat the public. A place where one is discriminated against, yes with the apologies ahead.
