Always a great Customer experience, in and out. Even quicker if you set up an appointment ahead of time. Stylists know what they are talking about and will try and work with you to get the haircut you want or help you decide what you want. Overall one of the best experiences I have had at a Barbershop

Cant make an appointment online. Called and the girl answered how can I help you? without stating the business name or hers. Had to clarify who I was actually calling. Hung up and booked with lighthouse. Guest service matters folks.

Great experience if you can get in. Sign says walk-ins and they can rarely take one, typically offer times 2-4 hours later which is just an appointment. If you have an irregular or unpredictable schedule it can be frustrating. I would recommend expanding staff or saying appointment only.

This is absolutely the best place in central Wisconsin to get your haircut. Ive had four different stylists cut my hair and they have all done a fantastic job. You also get a nice back massage, a hot towel on your face, and a relaxing shampoo and condition. Love this place.

Fantastic service in a classic barber shop atmosphere. I always leave satisfied with my haircut, rejuvenated from the steamed towel treatment, refreshed as a result of the shampooing and relaxed thanks to the neck and shoulder massage. In summary you may walk in the door discouraged and downtrodden but you will emerge with a renewed sense of purpose ready to conquer anything lifeay throw your direction.

It was alright. My husband is growing his hair out and we wanted something to modernize it while it grows... She literally did nothing but trim his neck and tell him to leave it. I know a lot about the subject but I guess she was just old way of thinking. Nothing compared to the clip joint but it is very nice inside

My favorite local barber, but unfortunately it appears word has gotten out. This place is almost always booked with appointments now. Its best to call ahead to set up an appointment with a stylist if you are coming on an evening or a weekend.

I do not have a difficult haircut, but they have always done a great job for me. I enjoy the hair washing and massage, and that is included for pretty much the same price other places charge for a cut. Other extras like tvs and hot towels, and nice barbershop atmosphere. Appoiments can be difficult to make once in awhile, but busy is good. I have never waited long. Best barbershop I have been to. I would recommend.

I took my son here and the woman scoffed and actually said “where are you from?” I moved to the north woods from the Miami area. So my son was accustomed to a certain cut/style. She did a horrible job. I considered giving them another shot but my gut says no. I will stick to getting a slick haircut in Milwaukee because my boy deserves to look good.

I was a walk-in customer. All stylists were busy at the time, but my wait was less than 10 minutes. Social distancing and Covid precautions are used within the facility. Masks must be worn, and can be purchased for a buck. The waiting area has about 6 open chairs, and it is possible that you could be asked to wait outside during very busy times. I have used this location since they opened, and even with the extra precautions, I was out of there in 20 minutes. What more can a guy ask for?

Typically always a good cut & with old time. My last time in though, I scheduled ahead and ended up waiting 25min after my appointment time making me late for after..otherwise great every other time.

I really enjoy getting a haircut here because you get the full service for the price of just a regular haircut anywhere else!

What an amazing place to get a haircut! The staff is always friendly and you tell them generally what you want and they make it better. Being in the military, I could always find a place to get a good haircut for a cheap price, after I got out, it was a lot harder. $13 for a haircut the way I like it, now nobody can beat that!

Love this place! Sometimes its a little bit of a wait. But, just like a lot of businesses that offer a quality product, sometimes everybody has the same idea at the same time. To the guy that whined about not getting in immediately because he had an appointment- there are plenty of places that cost twice as much who could get you in. Of course you may not get a shampoo or massage or have ESPN on 3 feet away. Please feel free to go somewhere else.I enjoy the atmosphere, the free peanuts & coffee. And an amazing value.

Im moving out of the area and there arent any Barbershops in Phoenix, AZ and Im not sure what Im going to do. The experience at Barbershop is more than just a haircut. The owner is very friendly and creates a pleasant work place for the stylists and that shows through in their attitude and quality of work. Definitely recommend Barbershop for any boy or man that is looking for a great experience while getting a haircut. You wont regret stopping in!

I have had haircuts from many stylists, as I normally am not a picky guy. The first time I got my haircut from Torie, I knew she was phenomenal at her job. Such an upbeat personality that makes getting a haircut fun, while providing an excellent service. She is my go to for all of my haircuts from now on. Excellent fade work.

I’ve had about 5 cuts from here. The quality is extremely inconsistent, ranging from either “pretty ok” to “worst cut ever”. I’ve always had waits of 15 minutes or greater even with an appointment. This is good place to go if you would like to play Russian roulette with your hair style. 👍🏼

The WORSE service I’ve ever experienced.It didn’t even take 50min to cut my hair, but the person cutting my hair was in a rush and very impatient. It took him 3min to wash my hair...there was still lots of shampoo left after rinsing. He was done drying my hair when it was almost still dropping water. I asked to have my my hair dried a bit more, he impatiently and unwillingly did it. It was still NOT completely dry....Honestly, it felt like a prank...The experience was ridiculous. Would HIGHLY recommend AVOIDING this place.....I’d like to give 0 star.... if it existed

Travis cuts my sons hair. He comes highly recommended if your son has a cross between straight/curly hair because he cuts right. My son is 2 so he can handle cutting kids hair that young even.

The lady botched my sons hair so bad....took him to get it “fixed” and walked out with a second botch job!! Bangs were shorter than short and uneven. His hair was originally longer on top and styled to the side like the popular men’s style these days and we wanted an overall trim to freshen it up;l and after leaving here he pretty much had just an uneven buzz cut. Unreal! Poor kid! Ugh

Sorry had to drop my rating last week was and will be my last time at this place. When you tell the barber what you want and not listened too. Example i told the barber i only wanted a quarter inch taken off. But she takes my hair down to a quarter inch i wanted 1 on the sides and takes it to skin. The owner better tell staff to clean out there ears and learn how to measure again.

Barbershop is a stretch and the haircut you have us hit or miss. Seem to go throughstylists quite regularly so if you find one that knows how to cut hair, remember their names because the next haircut you get has a 50/50 shot of it getting jacked up

There customer service is awful. They didnt record our appointment properly and made us wait two hours before we asked them why they took two people who just walked in without appointments before us. They said because we didnt have an appointment(which again we did they just didnt write it down Apprently). So because of there mistake the made us wait 2 hours and didnt even tell us about the error. Then when we said we did they got hostile so we left. The costumer service will make you reconsider ever going there again. Also the hair cut arent that great considering(not joking) someone with a shake hand has cut my hair 10 times better.

Made an appointment but still had to wait 30 min bc the woman working at the front counter didnt write it down. Thanks for that one...Hair cut was terrible, quite a bit shorter then my preference but the worst part was having the overweight barber lean on me and rub her belly all over while wheezing heavily trying to make me look like Im deploying to the marines with a buzz cut. Disgusting! Adjust the CHAIR if you have to lean, damn girl!!Overall, there has to be better options then this mess. Id look around for something better.

Been going there for about 10 years, always treated great. Tried stopping in today, they were really busy and said I could make an appointment for 11:10. Ok. Because of traffic across town I admittedly didnt make it there until like 11:13. They took someone else in my place and said I would now have to wait until noon! I of all people understand how these things work and the importance of punctuality, but it is funny how whenever I make an appt for a specific time and show up on time I usually dont get called back for another 10-15 mins anyway! Thanks to our Free Market System I am now writing this from Fantastic Sams.lol theyre treating me well here. Barbershop just lost a loyal longtime customer.

First off, the whole towel and hand massage experience was more than Ive had before. However, all three times I went there, I ended up disappointed with the haircut. At first I thought each one was decent, but I came home and showered to find that the cuts were uneven and inconsistent. There are probably better places in Wausau to get a haircut, guys.

I’m not impressed. It’s always the same person that messes up my hair, this is for the third time. I would go here atleast once a month and some stylists are great, others are sloppy and cut very uneven. Because of this experience I will not return.. their prices are always increasing anyway, for inconsistent cuts.

I just recieved the quickest most careless and uncomfortable hair cut from the manager Cathy, who also refused to trim my beard. I recommend the Barbershop and other stylists. But not Cathy. It’s hard to understand how someone like that is a manager at that establishment.
