First time in the store and owner Robin was busy with other customers but once he was free I got more than I bargained for. From history of the sport to many intricate details on types of Lacrosse Pockets and ways to stringing them and other details of the sport. I came in to the shop for a bag for my 11 yo son but came out with so much more knowledge about the sport.Although prices may be slightly higher than chain stores it’s well worth the attention and detail you will get a from LAX professional and not some high school kids at the chain store trained to handle any broad areas of expertise.Robin also has an area in the back of the store where he holds private lessons. I did not ask but I cannot image why one could not try the equipment you are buying before you buy.

I went their not knowing anything about the sport of lacrosse, I did leave knowing everything I needed to and very satisfied! A young man named Eric helped my son find everything he needed, it helped Eric was very knowledgeable about the sport. After selecting all the necessary pads we moved to the stick room and selected a stick that was a perfect fit for my son. If you ever need help with anything lacrosse make your trip worth it and stop by Hot4lax, I have nothing but good things to say!

Hot4lax is Milwaukees premier lacrosse store, and the only store in Milwaukee that is dedicated to lacrosse. I have been to hot4lax countless times in the past 8 years of living in Milwaukee. The service there is excellent, the staff is very knowledgeable, and are not into high pressure sales. There is an excellent practice area to try on equipment and test it out before buying, to make sure it fits and is comfortable. You may spend a little longer in the store than you expect, but that is because the staff is going to make sure that everything you are purchasing is going to work, and that you are knowledgeable on how to use it.Hot4lax also has great private lessons in store and wonderful leagues for youth through high school players to participate in year round.If you are just getting into lacrosse i highly recommend this store, as they have rental equipment available for kids who are just starting the sport.If you are already serious about lacrosse i also recommend this store as they carry high end equipment, with brands such as Epoch and STX.

Robin is very patient and easy going. My son is taking lessons and never rushed or afraid to ask questions. Wish we had discovered Hot4lax sooner!

I was turned off initially when they closed early on me. I gave them a second chance. Once I was in the door Robin the owner made my trip worth it. He helped my son select gloves, arm pads, and a few impromptu face off lessons. The price were equivalent to lacross monkey and I saved by not having to pay for shipping. Check this place out.

As a high school coach---any youth or new player who wants to play and doesnt want to sell a kidney to get gear-- I send them to Robin-(The owner)---In 4 years I have never had a complaint from families and he has always taken great care and serviced them well---he is solid in promoting the sport of Lacrosse and I would recommend.

This is a great place to be associated with...not just for buying lacrosse gear, but just for all of the great things that they do for the kids in our community also. Robin, the owner, is great, he is really passionate about lacrosse, and about mentoring and teaching the sport across the south east Wisconsin region. Everytime I have gone in there, I have always gotten discounts and alot of personal attention to make sure that I am getting exactly what I need for my son, and then with almost every purchase Robin will take you in the back of the store and give you personalized lessons to make sure you like the equipment you purchased. Some people are saying that they are slow with customer service, but I think people need to understand that this is not a Big Box sports store, they all give a tremendous amount of very personalized attention to each customer to make sure that they are completely satisfied...if that is what you are looking for and dont mind being patient, then this is the place for you...I highly recommend this business...if you really care about the personal experience then you will not be disappointed.

Not sure what the guy^ above is talking about, but some people just love to complain for no reason. I shop here all the time. They will beat or match any competitor price, as well as do all sorts of things from camps, clinics, leagues, summer club teams, embroidery, any custom stringing you can imagine, team orders and much much more. I love the selection and the new location is convenient for me as I am closer to Glendale than Waukesha. Not to mention the indoor shooting range lets you try out equipment before committing to purchase, and the staff is friendly and knowledgable - all lacrosse players. They rent and sell equipment and services from 1st graders to post-college. 5 stars!!!!!!!

The only reason that it is a 4 star is because the only worker had too take a phone call, but after he finished he helped is find everything we needed and even showed us how we would need to string the new net we bought.
