Your place has great products and fabrics. My concern is that lack of customer service and greeting when entering your store. Not once have I ever been welcomed, asked if I needed help with finding anything or left with a sincere thank you. I almost felt like I was wasting the staffs time by being there.
Their service is unsurpassed. I love the variety of fabrics and all the notions. The staff is friendly and can help you locate anything you need. Also, their classes are so good. If there is a problem with anything you purchased, they have no problem making it right. There is always something new going on. I just love the store and the staff.
Sew Much More shop is the best. Brad can fix machines and has incredible knowledge about them. I have done business with him since 1993..He has a wonderful staff and all are very helpful.. I have sent many friends to the store and all are very satisfied and happy with the variety of items in the store. Keep up the great work Brad and crew.
I love this shop! Beautiful fabrics, a huge supply of different thread, classes, and notions. I have had my Bernina’s successfully serviced there and recently bought my Q20 there also. They have a terrific support staff that are friendly and knowledgeable.
Love this store. Moved here and was very excited to find Sew Much More. Everyone is extremely helpful.
I purchased the gnome pillow kit and there was not the correct amount of fabric for the yellow gnome stripe or the blue gnome stripe. I was only given 18 strips of both and it called for 20. In the 18 the selvage was included so that couldnt even be used. It was not worth the $17.99 that I was charged for it.
Fun place with great ideas
Went in for the first time and was barely greated. Stayed for 30 minutes walking in circles looking at threads and embroidery machines. No one ask if I needed help or if I had any questions about the machines. 2 ladies in the front was just chatting away. Very disappointed but thats okay they dont have the machine I need.
I am thrilled to have moved closer to the store location as this business has so many educational and just plain fun events. Now if I could only retire in order to spend more time taking advantage of it all! The staff is helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and offers excellent service on all their products. I have purchased three sewing machines here and am more than pleased with every one. Stop in...you won’t be disappointed.Kathy B.
See Much More is a fantastic store with wonderful people that are able to answer all of your questions! The clubs are very inspiring and I have met so many other people who love to sew. Or crochet or knit or... They also offer a mind boggling assortment of beautiful threads and fabric and yarn. And classes-- too many to list. As I always say my favorite store Sew Much More!!!
I have been to this store on a few occasions as it is not very close to me. While there everyone was very friendly and helpful. I liked the choices of threads available and Im a big fan of the Creative Grid Rulers which I was happy to see they have a variety. One of the things I wish they had more of were machine embroidery files. I also made a suggestion of providing more of the DIME products as well as looking into offering some of the DIME seminars. I provided information regarding these seminars and the website. Ive been to two of these and have had to travel to Green Bay and Appleton to attend them. It would be nice to attend them closer. I have not seen any additional DIME products offered nor anything about seminars being offered. I was told by the person who I provided the info to that this store didnt carry many machine embroidery files because people could get them online. I thought that was rather odd since I do try to support local businesses. All in all its a nice store.
After shopping for my sewing machine I got the best deal here. Love the new store. I too live a distant away but I always bring my machines here. The staff is very helpful and they are stocked with everything! The service I wish they had was to rent out use of a long arm quilting machine:)
All of the staff here are very friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful whether in person or by phone! I drive 90 minutes to shop, have my machine serviced or attend classes. I only wish I didn’t live so far away so I could shop and attend more of the variety of classes offered. They gave me an outstanding price on a Baby Lock Destiny II machine. Definitely a gem of a sewing store.Connie M Rockford IL
Had a great experience, took my machine there for repairs, VERY reasonable. He also told me that I have been using the wrong sized bobbin (who knew?) and I am sewing better and faster ever since. GREAT service as well. I love this place!
I dropped my machine off in mid-July at this location. There was an issue with the timing, when I dropped off the machine they told me the repairman was working 2 weeks out. 2 1/2 months later I was able to pick up my machine. Within those 2 1/2 months there was no info provided to me informing me of the reason for the extended fix time. I contacted them on two separate occasions inquiring about my machine. Turns out a part needed to be ordered, which is totally fine, but some updates would have been nice. The ladies I spoke to in the store were very friendly but knew very little about the repair side of things. The machine works well and is functioning as it should, but perhaps updating clients when an extended fix time is needed would appreciated.
Sew much more is amazing. Beautiful fabrics, top quality machines and anything else you can imagine. Everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful. There is a once a month club with the nicest people ever. A place to make friends, learn new things, see what others make and be happy.
Sew Much More has a knowledgeable, friendly and supportative staff. They have sewing accessories, the best selection of thread, and the fabrics are gorgeous. I love my Baby lock sewing and embroidery machines. Brad does an excellent job on servicing your sewing/embroidery machine in a timely fashion and reasonable price. They have a variety of classes which are a learning process while being fun! They also have numerous clubs. Go to their website check it out.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Sew Much More is where in purchased my sewing/embroidery machine and I could be happier. They have the Best customer service and always available toAnswer questions. Brad also repairs and maintains all my machines. I love that they added tons of fabric too. A one stop shop!
I’ve been doing business with Frank’s Sewing Center since Brad helped me make my treadle sewing machine functional many years ago.The store has grown into Sew Much More, literally. It Is always my first stop for machines and notions! Adding fabric is a bonus.Friendly, knowledgeable staff!
One of the nicest group of people to work with. Very friendly service and helpful when you purchase a machine. Brad does a great job on servicing the machines and has helped me out on more that one jam Ive gotten myself into! Kathy has become a friend I can count on when I have any questions regarding embroidery. They have a huge display of thread and notions. With their expansion, this will be a go to place for machines and service. Highly recommend Franks Sewing Center. Thank you Brad and Kathy for all your help!!!!
Unfortunately the store is too far away to frequent often, but then again my husband thinks that is a good thing because I enjoy shopping there so much. =) Even though it is a distance from my house (about 90 minutes), I chose there to buy my longarm. I had a few models in mind and they were the only store that really took the time to answer all my questions and really showed an interest in helping me start off right. I recommend them to anyone who asks me where I got my machine from and I love the new fabric that they have added to the store, just another reason to stop in when ever I can make it to the area.
I have to compliment Brad, Wendy and Pam for walking me through the purchase of a new Baby Lock Crescendo and a new Koala cabinet. Pam was the lead on my sale and she responded to all of my questions and concerns. Brad helped us get the machine into the car and Wendy gave me my first lesson. All of them exceeded my expectations as this sale progressed. A footnote--I love my new Crescendo. Thanks to all of you for such great service. Franks is now my go to place for everything related to my machine. Ive had other machines serviced there in the past and Brad is thorough and timely.
I have attended mamy classes and always had a great time and learning experience. All of the people are wonderful and will go out of there way to see that your needs are met. They also take good care of my sewing machine and repairs are done in a timely fashion. I recommend them highly to new and advanced sewers.
Greatest place to shop if you sew or make quilts. I love my Baby Lock sewing machines (have two). One for home and one for cabin. My machines have been looked after by Brad for years. He does a GREAT job on annual maintenance and repair (which is minimal). The staff is super friendly and very helpful. If you cant find what you need at Sew Much More, it probably doesnt exist!
I have purchased several sewing machines and a cabinet there. I wouldnt have anyone else service any of my machines. They have a great selection of thread and notions. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Its a great place!
I have been a long time customer at Sew Much More and have found them to be the best source of sewing machines, repair services, classes, threads and sewing supplies in the entire Southeastern Wisconsin area. They have what other stores dont carry. Well worth the trip where ever you live. You will not be disappointed. Brad and his staff are the best!
Love their new location and the layout of the store. I am a sometimes quilter and crafter. They have been very helpful with sewing supplies, beautiful fabrics and information on finishing some of my projects...and starting a few more. They have cleaned and repaired my machines for many years as well. Nothing is better than a well working sewing machine! I would highly recommend them.
Love this store, and the friendly supportative staff. They are all very knowledgeable. The machines are the best you can find, and the service is excellent. They carry so many wonderful sewing products and the fabrics are gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and stop by to see all that sew much more offers.
Franks Sewing Center is honest, helpful, experienced and carries quality products. Go to Franks for all your sewing machine needs. Last year I purchased a Baby Lock Soprano and have been quilting up a storm, love it. Heres why I recommend Franks; last year I took my Elna to a sewing machine repair shop that was NOT Franks. I had some experience with the person and it was a cleaning/tune up, what the heck. He actually broke my machine in two different places, told me it happened because my machine was old and parts were available maybe at $$$. Now it was working fine when I brought it in and it took this guy two months to not tune up my machine and now he was going to charge me or sell me another used machine! Not going to happen.I rescued my machine, brought it to Franks with tears in my eyes. He had some spare parts on hand, fixed it in less than a week and charged me very little. That is why you should go to Franks.
FRANKS is an awesome place! Excellent staff as well as wonderful service with repairs and cleaning of machines. The class schedule has something for everyone. I especially love the open labs! What a wonderful selection of supplies and products. The staff will always help you find what is just the thing you need. So excited for their expansion.
Brad is the best Sewing machine mechanic. There new location is awesome if your looking for a certain thread they should have it. Customer service is FANTASTIC!!! love there store and staff....
Dont know of a place with more helpful people, no matter what the question or the supply needed. I always come away with positive feelings and inspiration. I have also been extremely pleased when I need service on any of my machines. This is my go-to place.
This is a wonderful store with quality fabrics and supplies. In addition, they carry high quality sewing machines and classes for their sewing machines. You can take quilting lessons here.
I have been going to Sew Much More for many years before when it was Franks, located in Down Town Waukesha and now in its new location. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I appreciate the personal contact they give me with any questions I have. Its a great experience shopping at Sew Much More.
I have been shopping at Brads store for quite a while. I do enjoy the new store. I have always been taken care of quickly and enjoy the new products that they are carrying. The personnel have always been very helpful.
I have had my sewing machines serviced at a few different service centers, but The service at Sew Much More is not only done timely but also at a fair charge.Their open sews have an experienced support person there to help and plenty of room to work in. Their class are instructed by knowledgeable and prepared instructors. But, perhaps, best of all is the information that is offered by Brad and Wendy about the care of your sewing machines. If youre a sewer, Sew Much More is the place you should make a priority to explore. And now they have added fabric and an unbelievable choose of threads.
So great to have this fantastic sewing & quilting store so close to where I live. They have a wonderful staff and offer tons of products and classes. Keep up the great job.
Ladies were too interested in discussing purchasing bed linens to help. I was only customer in store. One did say goodbye as I left.
Franks Sewing Center has been my #1 place to go for my sewing needs and supplies for more than 30 years. I love the knowledge and support and excellent quality I get there. They love their customers and always go above and beyond to make shopping there a great experience. Prices are very competitive and they back what they sell. Brad has been servicing machines..... forever?! So his knowledge is priceless. I am very excited about the latest expansion. If you havent been there, go and see for yourself. You will be glad you did!
I’m from out of town and looking for good non-chain fabric/quilt stores while visiting. Sew Much More (formerly Franks) is jaw-dropping good. Appears that sewing machine repair is their forte. Amazing stock of sewing notions...a sewist’s heaven! They have a good, well organized selection of quilting materials. The owner and staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable but thankfully not in your face. Also have a nice area in which they do classes. If you are a sewist, I highly recommend a trip here. Plus there are a couple other good non-chain quilt/fabric stores worth going to within about 1/2 hour.
One Stop Shop for all your Sewing needs! They literally have everything!!!
Franks is really great! Their prices are competitive, their staff is wonderful and their service is second to none. Brad is the guy who fixes machines and he is a wizard! He fixed my machine and hardly charged me enough. I was tempted to tip him, maybe I should have. Wonderful shop, wish there were more like it out there!
I wouldnt shop or sew anywhere else! Brad and his staff are the nicest, most knowledgeable people around. The classes are super, led by enthusiastic teachers. The store is easy to shop and will only get better in the future! Keep up the good work.
I gladly drove over 500 miles to buy my sewing machines from Brad. He is the best and you can rely on him to be honest! His support team of women are so helpful and fun... and they have so many good classes at a better than usual value. This place makes me miss the Midwest.
I have loved Franks Sewing Center for years. It is a complete store with so many great machines and everything needed for sewing enthusiasts. I have had my machines repaired by Brad and he is amazingly talented in finding the problem and fixing them perfectly. I have attended classes and the teachers were so helpful and the sewing projects were fun and finished by the end of class. I loved them and learned a lot.The store is beautiful.
I live over the border in Illinois but dont think twice about going to Franks for my Babylock and other machine servicing. Great people. fair pricing and an overall A+ experience! They have a huge collections of thread!. Highly recommended. They are now called Sew Much More. Guess thats because more room, more thread, and fabric! Great people, super helpful.!
My first experience with this business came when I bought a sewing machine from Franks several years ago. Since then, Ive purchased another machine and furniture; Ive had several machine cleaning and repair visits; Ive taken interesting and helpful classes; and Ive had any and all sorts of threads, needles, notions, dies, and fabrics walk out the door with me. No one else gets to touch my machines, and I know I can count on fair, friendly, helpful assistance with whatever I need. Sew Much More always comes through!
BEST Bernina dealer in the area! Very fair pricing and helpful personnel. Great selection of fabrics!
Excellent service, wonderful products available.
Have purchased 2 machines from here. Lessons are excellent and service is superior. Lots of threads. Accessories and material. Clubs are fun and informative. Highly recommend.
The staff at Franks is knowledgeable and helpful. I have had multiple machines of different makes and models serviced there and have always been pleased with the results. They have a great variety of products to choose from and their expansion will make it even better. A nice selection of classes is offered throughout the year as well.
Bought a unity embroidery machine very recently. Havent had a lot of time with it yet but Cathy was great showing us the features. She even gave some of her personal time to explain things on the phone one evening. Great people to work with.
I have been a customer for over 20 years. I own 3 Baby Lock machines that I purchased at Sew Much More. The customer service is outstanding. They go out of their way to answer any questions I have with a smile.
In the past year I have purchased both an embroidery machine and a sewing machine. The staff at Franks were so patient with me... sat me in front of the machines and allowed me to try out them out while they were showing me the features of the machines, which in turn allowed me to make very informed choices, I love my new machines!!I also enjoy taking classes at Franks and am looking forward to many fun years of crafting
Very helpful staff!!
I have been a customer of Franks Sewing Center for over 20 years and will never go anywhere else for my sewing machine needs. The customer service is unbeatable, the quality of their products are unsurpassable, and the knowledge of the associates are above all the rest. I 100% recommend Franks Sewing Center to all beginners and experienced sewers alike.
I am a relatively new customer to Franks. I have attended a few clubs and have shopped there 2 or 3 times. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. The prices are great as well. It has become my goto quilt shop as they are expanding and I see things only getting even better.
Love the new look--More room, more classes, same great serviceYou couldnt find a more helpful or knowledgeable staff anywhere. Pattern and thread selection is outstanding. Repairs are done quickly. They are my go to store.
Fabulous store. They have so much to choose from and if they dont have it, they will find it, order it and bring it into the store for you.I havent tried their classes yet (due to my schedule) but they lookwonderful.
I have had a few machines in for cleaning and was very pleased with everything. Staff is great and the prices were very reasonable. I have also taken classes and they were well done and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend Franks.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this store! I have had a machine serviced, taken classes, bought a new machine ( did I mention free help with my new purchase forever!). Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable- a pleasure to do business there!
Great store!! Ive never seen so much thread in one store!! I live a distance away but its worth the trip.
This is one of my top favorite shops. They have the nicest and most knowledgeable staff whenever I have questions or need help finding the right items. I also enjoy taking classes here and attending clubs. They have awesome teachers that make it fun and know how to bring out your creativity.
Caring staff- great product selection- only place I will take my machines for their annual physicals!

Great help, great selection, great variety! Excellent machine service. Fabric, notions, yarn machines! Everything thing you need.
Havent been able to get there since opening new and cant wait to go again. It is really a distance from my home. But, loved the store that I was at after they moved. Havent been to the expanded store yet.
Such a friendly and knowledgeable staff, always willing to answer the smallest question. Great selection of items.

The store is full of options whether you are looking for fabric, patterns, notions, thread, etc. They have what you are looking for. The sewing machine choices are also abundant. And if your machine is having a problem, Brad will figure out the problem and get you sewing again in no time!
Excellent customer service.... high quality inventory....... and the owner is very well knowledgeable on sewing machines no matter what brand..... highly recommend this business.
Wonderful service and selection. Very friendly staff. I remember my Mom buying her new Simplicity sewing machine back in the mid 60s from the shop when it was downtown.
This store is the greatest. Brad is so good at repairing and cleaning my machines. The staff is also very helpful. This Babylock dealer is the best.
Ive used Franks for repairs on several of my sewing machines - of different makes - and am always impressed by how fast they are fixed, and how reasonable the cost is. One of my machines had been in for the same repair numerous times, at another shop. The first time at Franks, they fixed it once and for all. Nice people too.
I have been a customer, teacher, and part time help at Franks. In each role, the owner and staff have proven their integrity and concern for their employees and customers. Quality service is tough to find these days but you will always find it at Sew Much More.
I love Franks Sewing Center. Brad is the best when it comes to having your machine cleaned or repaired. The classes are terrific and their selection of thread is mind boggling. I just wish I lived closer.
Although I havent been there yet I enjoy getting e-mails about events. One day I will come and check the place out. But yall good in my book!!
I bought both my Baby Lock machines at Franks. Any questions that I have are immediately answered by the knowledgeable staff and I can ask for a lesson any time needed. When i had my machine cleaned and serviced i was surprised that it even ran better than it did right out of the box.
Brad is the only person I trust to work on my machines. They are very knowledgeable there. The classes are well done and the prices are very reasonable.
I bought my very first Baby Lock sewing machine at Franks, the Tempo. It has worked beautifully and I havent had an maintenance issues with it. They have an amazing variety of notions and other supplies, and if they dont have it, theyre very willing to try and help you find it. SO MUCH thread too!
New store is great. Love how open it is. I have always loved the service I have received, especially the machine repair.
I took a class on maintenance on my vintage sewing machine. It was very hands on. Brad was very informative. Information that will help me keep my machine in working order. Well worth the fee.
Took my Juki serger in to be serviced (I run a very busy small business and am using the machine 10+ hours a day every day). Got it back and it wouldnt feed the fabric through. I troubleshooted it, and still nothing. Returned it to be fixed and the guy was condescending and rude and kept telling me it was because I was using my machine wrong. He clearly knew very little about sewing with knit fabric, but nevertheless still felt justified in insisting that I was the one who was using my machine incorrectly.COTTON WOVEN IS DIFFERENT FROM POLYESTER LYCRA AND REQUIRES DIFFERENT MACHINE SETTINGS, DESPITE WHAT THIS MAN KEPT TELLING ME. EVERYONE WHOS EVER SEWN WILL TELL YOU THAT. EVEN THE MANUAL STATES THIS. He told me I shouldnt ever adjust the thread tension or differential feed. Are you kidding me? I honestly am flabbergasted that someone who works with sergers would hold this (laughably incorrect) opinion, and then try to pass it off as fact.Pro tip, friends: different fabric requires different settings on your machine. Cotton woven feeds through differently than fleece or lightweight polyester will. YOU MUST ADJUST YOUR MACHINE SETTINGS OR YOUR STITCHES AND TENSION WILL BE WONKY.Anyway, Im sure this is a fine store for quilters (since that seems to be all they do there) or casual hobby sewists, but if youre a professional or a knowledgable amateur and dont wish to be talked to like you know nothing about your craft, go somewhere else where theyll treat you politely and where they know what theyre doing.
I love shopping at Franks!!! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. They offer a huge selection of classes, from quilting and home dec, to serging and machine embroidery. And did I say everyone is friendly and helpful? Its great to get such personalized service. And their new location is great too - with lots of parking available.
For years I have gone to the Sewing Center. I have purchased two machines there, had services on said machines when necessary, attended some very fine classes and enjoy the friendly people involved with the store. I have recommended it to others over the years and will continue to do so.
The thread displays are eye candy! Any thread you can think of, they have it here! Very kind and helpful staff.
Franks Sewing is beyond the BEST! A fine well educated staff is cheerful and able to help with any problem or situation. The many classes excell and are varied for a great sewing experience. Dont pass them up.
Everyone who works at Franks has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any sewing machine issues or sewing questions I have had. They have never over sold me even when I thought I needed a bigger solution, they have directed me to the right fix. These are good, honest people that I trust and respect.
Great place for servings your machines, great classes and great service 😊
Everyone is always very friendly and very helpful. They have a full selection of quilting needs and beyond. I have a sewing center nearby that I choose to never shop at. Ill take the 45 minute drive to Franks where I know Ill be taken care of and leave with a smile.
I bought my new Baby Lock sewing machine here and the staff were so helpful in showing me how to operate and use the many great features on the machine. Love this store!
Have shopped here many times. Have only had good experiences. Very helpful employees who are always friendly and patiently answer all questions
Franks is staffed with very knowledgeable individuals. They have just about everything you could ask for except fabric.I very much recommend the classes also
