This was a new experience from other appointments. The specialist was very knowledgeable and talked me through the advantages of my hearing aids. Adjusted them, cleaned and checked that they were doing the best job for me. I was impressed by the service and C the doctor. I hope she stays as we have not had good service previously.

Ordered hearing aids, took a month to come in. Once they came in, made an appointment to get them fitted, only to get a call while waiting in the parking lot that they were the wrong ones and that they were broken. Said the new ones would be in the next day and to schedule an appointment. Tried to get that week had to wait until the following week to get in. Once in for the appointment they had nothing ready. Should have least gotten the charger for nothing for all the inconvenience. Biggest pain ever!

At Hearing Life I was given professional service and so much useful information that it helped me to decide what an important idea getting the best hearing aids was. I have since enjoyed hearing sounds I havent heard in years and speech so clearly that I feel like I can finally hear naturally!

The appt. was set up in a reasonable time, and the provider did a reasonable job with assessing the problem. Unfortunately, there is a hardware problem with the hearing aid, so it has to be sent back to Opticon for repair.

I went to HearingLife in Waukesha because my left hearing device stopped working. Leslie did a diagnostic test on it and figured out it needed repairs. Now it works like new. Thank you to Leslie from the Waukesha branch!

I went into the Waukesha Location on December 4, 2014, for being fitted for hearing aids after a hearing test revealed I would be a good candidate for hearing aids. I was referred to this center by my insurance company, who stated that they were an in-network provider. The staff looked up the insurance coverage and found that I was eligible for up to $6000 of hearing aids ($3000 per ear).Upon selecting hearing aids that were within this price range and met my needs, I was told that I had to pay for the hearing aids up front, and then it would be 4-6 weeks for insurance to reimburse me. I have *never* had this come from any network provider with my insurance. I was told that they had payment plans available and that it wouldnt be a problem.In the mean time, I went to the Avada website and printed coupons. The coupon I had was for the Affordable Option and stated 6 months - no interest, or payments as low as $40 per month. Interest waived if paid in full in 180 days, must make minimum monthly payment. Non-transferrable. Offer may not be combined with other offers, discounts or coupons. LImit one discount per person. May not be used with previous purchases.Fast forward to December 12. I went to pick up my hearing aids, and presented the coupon. I was told I wouldnt be able to pick up my hearing aids the same day. I then found out that the Affordable Option was actually through CareCredit. I am currently a CareCredit card holder, but do not have a high enough available balance to facilitate the purchase. I called CareCredit and was denied a higher credit line.I feel that the hearing center is misleading as the coupon did not state that the payment plan was subject to credit approval. Also, the staff didnt indicate that there would be a need for a credit check. Considering my insurance would be covering the entire purchase amount and this was a network provider, the policy to pay up-front is questionable.
