New shower door for my remodeled bathroom. After getting estimates from four glass companies and reading reviews, I chose Bob’s Glass. Bob’s Glass was the only company that sent someone (Joel) to measure and review my project with me. All other companies had me take pictures and send my measurements. Bob’s Glass had estimates to me in a couple of days, including the hardware Joel reviewed when he explained glass and hardware options. Glass was custom cut for my door and two shower windows. Bob’s Glass installation by Mike was flawless, and everything is perfect. Not only did Bob’s Glass have the best prices, but they also provided outstanding service! I would highly recommend using Bob’s Glass!

Well, very mixed reviews here. First, we gave them a down payment 6/2021 -3-4 wks expected wait time- Had to call - they never processed our order but did process the deposit!- another 3-4 wks again after coming back out. Finally came and the install was less than ideal. Horrible caulking- thick bulky lines, then thin, gaps/voids uneven, on the new glass too. Also use sanded caulk and could see that the rest of windows were a smooth caulk- I would have been happy to get my own but no mention of that.Molding removed for install and was terrible and I mean terrible reinstall!!!! Did not match up molding to original and existing trim lines. It looked awful. NO re-caulking to finish interior- which was good because they had to come back. They fixed it and were polite BUT Overall it looks just OK! I had to point out things like globs of caulk - not a smooth line- which they ultimately did not fix. Was told didnt need to caulk top molding - I said as long as not an issue But when looking at top of the window inside of house - voids, cracks - not lined up. I fixed this myself as best I could.I only hope the issue is cosmetic :( and not structural for the new double pane.So professional - yes but quality install- NO.

After doing some shopping around and price comparing, we decided to go with Bobs Glass. From booking the appointment to having the work done, the entire experience has been seamless. We even needed the guys to come back to do a little resealing and it was done within a week with no questions asked. I highly recommend Bobs - great work and friendly service. =)

Tried to call Friday 4/2/21 at 3:50pm. I spent 30 minutes on hold per the answering machines instructions. You never answered. If you are going to be closed during your “regular business hours”....it would be a good idea to post it on google or update your answering machine. This proves you do not care about your customers time. Thank you for wasting my 30 minutes because you are too lazy to update your hours of operation/answering machine message.

Had a bad experience customer service experience at another glass company in Waukesha (also starts with three letters!), in getting two facets of this mirrored dresser replaced. Ended up buying the material myself online, taking it and the drawers to Bobs. They did a great repair, quickly and without whining; I have a brand new dresser! At a price HUNDREDS of dollars less than the other vendor quoted.Went on to do three custom shower doors with them; again excellent work and service. Definitely my go-to glass place from now on.

I shopped around and went with Bobs. Theyre friendly and quick. I didnt mind paying Bobs a few dollars more than Milwaukee plate glass quoted, to have it the next day instead of in 2 weeks. Id definitely recommend them and am proud to be supporting an independently owned small local business.

It states: Proudly serving the counties of Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine, Walworth, Jefferson, Dodge, Washington, and Ozaukee.How about you proudly remove Racine from your website because you just told me that it is too far (40min) from your location to come do work for me. While your are updating your website you should strongly consider removing the following counties, because after a quick google search, they may also be too far to travel from your location: Dodge (56min), Washington (45min), and Walworth (54min).Next time instead of making people wait three days for a call back, you just tell them right away you wont help them.

Bobs Glass Services provides top notch glass and installations at a reasonable price. Bobs has replaced several windows on my home, and consistently has the lowest bid and I have never had a problem on installation.Bobs Glass Services has excellent communication also. I have called on many occasions and have always been able to reach a representative, and the representatives are always courteous and professional. When calling, I have had to wait for a representative to find additional information about my order, however, i am always given an estimated timeline of each step of the process... if I dont hear from Bobs Glass on the anticipated date (which has happened), I call them the next day and we find a solution. Bobs has never missed an agreed upon installation, however, there have been instances where I am not called on the day the glass arrives.

I am so grateful I found Bobs Glass Services. I placed an order at another company closer to my home prior for a project I needed for the weekend, and after my husband picked it up, I realized I was short a piece (my fault, not the glass company), but unfortunately it was Friday late afternoon and the company I used was closed, and so were many others. I called and spoke to a very nice lady who checked to see how soon I would be able to have a piece of 1/4 glass cut; I was originally told early the following week, but after explaining my situation she checked and they were able to cut it the same day. Not only were they fast, but half the price of the original company I first used. I highly recommend, and even though they are a little further, I will definitely contact them first on any future projects! Thank you again! :)

Bobs glass did a great job on our showcase glass in our store. This was quite a project as the glass was originally installed with a security tape that was designed to not be easily removed. They were the best price I found and did the job quickly and on schedule. Cannot ask for more than that. 4-6 weeks wait, is a long way out to get glass in window, security and inconvenience considered.

Had a window broken and called Bobs Glass Service for an estimate to replace. They came out the next day and promptly provided an estimate that was very reasonable. Replacement was ordered and I was called to schedule the installation when the window came in. They accommodated our busy schedule, arrived on time, and switched out the windows. Easy transaction and I will definitely call them again if need arises.

It was suggested to me by a realtor to check out Bobs glass because I had a small crack in one of the windows of my house. I called them, after hours, and there was no answering machine or voicemail which I thought was odd. However, they had someone stop by and look from the front yard and give me a price. They gave me a quote and Mike came out 2 weeks later and I had the glass replaced. While the installer was here I asked him about a picture window and what would he think it would cost to replace and I was surprised how much less it would be than replacing the whole window. I am satisfied with Bobs glass professionalism and their workmanship.

I called Bobs Glass in June to have a cracked window replaced. Someone came out to measure the glass and price it within a week. I was told the glass was ordered and would be in the warehouse by mid July. No one ever called. So, I contacted Bobs glass through their website and called them three times. No one responded. I was finally able to make contact with someone at the end of August! I was told the window would be installed on September 6, 2016. I called to confirm today and was told the glass was broken. This has been a total waste of time. I strongly do not recommend dealing with this company.

DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!!!! I paid over $400 dollars for them to come fix my window and screen because someone threw a rock at my window. I talked to a lady on the phone and she said they will take care of all installation and clean up. They came and installed the window and said they will come back to do the screen. Next couple of days no one showed up with the screen. I called again and they said they didnt have the screen ready and will have it to me next week. Next week comes up and they showed up unexpected and no one was home. So they left the screen on the porch and left.(they also left the money they owe me in the mailbox) So I called and said when will the come install the screen? They said for me to do it cause its easy to install. So not worth the money

February 2017 our 2-pane window in the kitchen above our sink got a crack in it. The pressure of the window lock combined with the frigid temperatures outside were an aggressive pair on our window. We got a few estimates between March and April, and Bobs glass was the most affordable, so we hired them. They told us 4 weeks for the glass to be ordered. We were OK with that. In the mean time we had a baby, so our focus was elsewhere.Twelve weeks later we still hadnt heard back from bobs. My husband called, and they very nonchalantly advised that the glass had been there a while and they could come by the house the following week to repair the window (we were in mid-July at this point). They came and began repairs, however, they broke the new piece of glass for the window while replacing it. They put our old glass back in, and told us another 4 weeks for a new piece of glass.Fast forward 8 more weeks (September now), I finally call them to see whats going on. I am once again told theyve got the new piece of glass and can come the following week. I made arrangements to have someone at the house during the repair, they came, and finally fixed the window. I am happy the window is repaired, Im happy with the price, but the seal on the bottom of the window is now damaged, and Im totally unsatisfied with their lack of customer service/communication back to us. It blows my mind that we had to call every time, to check up on our glass, and BOTH TIMES, they had it.If you want cheap; go with Bobs glass. If you want quality: go somewhere else.

We had a single glass pane (2.5 x 3.0) replaced in a sash window. The window repair was quoted, scheduled, & completed all within one week. No issues in communication or scheduling. Bobs Glass was the only recommendation I received from multiple friends & colleagues, & I now understand why.

Had one of our Marvin windows broken, from reading about them Marvin wants you to buy a whole new frame unit. Called Bobs Glass and they came out the next day and measure the Glass and gave us a price. I was pleasantly surprised with the estimate to replace the glass. When the unit came in they called to schedule an appointment. Came right on time and changed out the glass, looks good as new at a reasonable cost. Would use them again if I need any Glass replaced.

Bobs glass has installed 3 window inserts for me as well as a custom frame less glass shower door. All the work they have done has been top notch. The installers were professional and courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I would strongly recommend them.

This place is a joke! They told us 3 weeks for the glass to be installed. When we called at around the 3 week mark, they had said that they didnt even process our order.However, they had no problem taking our deposit.We are sitting at 6 weeks now, my husband took off of work to wait for the installation and we were told on the morning of that our glass is not prepared.They said they have no idea when our glass will be ready.Save your money and headaches and go someplace else!!!! This is a scam and they are all liars.I wish I went someplace else.

Really disappointing. Bobs glass replaced my window in 2008. The glass was purchased from a different company, Bobs glass installed it. I called Bobs glass after window became foggy again. A man came out and said, there is no way we replaced this window 8 years ago, we would never have installed it in such a way. I said, Im not crazy, I remember the Bobs glass truck, you did install it. I asked several times if they could look back in their records for an invoice but no one cared to do that, just kept telling me it was installed by someone else, insisting I was wrong. So after seeing negative reviews online, I phoned two other companies to come out and take a look, Layton and BGS. Both men came and described the SAME problem, that window was installed incorrectly and due to this, seal broke and window fogged. So I phoned Bobs glass again, stating this claim. It was then that Bobs glass suddenly found my invoice, admitted that they did in fact install the window but the reason it fogged was due to building shift (Im pretty sure all buildings shift over time) and cheap glass and they could not do anything for me because I did not buy glass from them, only install. If I had not had two other professional opinions, I would have believed it. I hate to leave negative reviews but I do feel duped and certainly did get the run-around in the process. I will not be recommending this co to anyone moving forward.

Id reccomend steering clear of Bobs Glass Service. Ive used them twice to change windows that got foggy and my contractor used them for an all glass shower.Pros : Theyre less expensive. Their glass is good and installed well.Cons - and this will be a deal breaker the next time I need windows replaced.1. They do not do a good job communicating internally and externally. Appointments are forgotten, placed for the wrong day and messages arent passed between the installer, the receptionist and other receptionists. They dont keep you informed of their timelines once you have placed an order and weeks pass without you knowing when they will call to make an appointment (they need to order the glass first).2. The installer shattered my old glass *inside* my bedroom and my kids bedrooms and left tiny shards of sharp glass all over my carpet. He did not tell me about this. We did our best to clean this up once we noticed it, but I then cut my knee and bled all over my own carpet on a piece we missed.I have two young kids.3. The installer tore one of my screens and told me that he would take it back to the shop and have it fixed and delivered to my house and that he would talk to the people at the shop. Naturally they didnt have a clue when I called them. And they keep forgetting to return the repaired screen window.

Excellent Studio Glass installation between control room and video studio, angled slightly to deflect glare and improve viewing. Windows in high-traffic interior doors helped with sound-proofing and still seeing if someone on the other side was coming or going. Showed up exactly when planned and clean-up after left our place immaculate. Bravo!
