I get my Haircut here and have never had any bad cuts from Alex or Chele. Will definitely continue to have great hair for the foreseeable future thanks too those two.

Great place for all ages. The atmosphere was unique from other shops Ive ever been to. Stylist was very friendly and professional. First time in the shop and from now on this will be the only place I will take my son for his hair cuts.

Asked for a high fade to bald and got the weakest fade I have ever received. Obviously a cheap price for a haircut, but the blending was laughable at best. Thought the quality would be better based on photos on here. I wouldn’t recommend this business for anyone looking for quality, just a quick cut.

Decided to book an appointment after my friend had a positive experience and a good haircut. My stylist was really kind and knew her way with the equipment, but my haircut turned out nothing like the reference picture I showed her. After confirming she could do it, she got to work and seemed to go her own way instead of what I wanted. Now I am left with an embarrassing haircut and one that I do not feel good with. Although it will grow back, it is unfortunate to have these things happen in the first place

My 9-year-old has autism and has sensory issues when it comes to getting his hair cut. I told Shannon beforehand and she was so sweet and accommodating! She leaned him back a certain way to make sure the hair wouldnt fall in his face, was very gentle, and made sure he was comfortable the whole time. We had previously been going to Mens Hair House, but after having quite a few rude stylists (one in particular telling him he was too big to be acting like such a baby), we decided to try somewhere new. Im glad we came in! Thanks Shannon!

First I called made an appointment for my husband and 2 boys and they didnt put one of my kids down. Then the lady(Chele) that cut there hair was not very friendly at all was in a hurry. She cut my husbands neck with the clippers missed places on his beard. The place itself is nice they other staff members where nice. Its clean, but just didnt have a nice experience this go a round

Love this place. Been a regular at the Appleton location so its nice I could jump to this Waukesha location without worrying. Leya was my stylist and she was excellent. Just enough conversation without over talking. She gave my hair attention to detail and cleaned up my beard without losing its volume. Ask for her but Im sure everyone else is good.

If you want a good fade, stay away from this place. Saw some photos of work theyve done on other customers and thought it would be a good place but they proved otherwise. I requested a Medium Skin Fade and what I got was not that, not even close. Not sure if theyre being lazy or if it depends on who you get but the work shouldnt be spotty.

The lady who did my hair made a terrible job. I showed her pictures that how my hair look like and I told her I want the same look and she said she got it. It was not even close to the haircut what I asked, but that still wasn’t the biggest problem. The way she cut my hair felt like I was kind of an animal. No it looks spotted and ridicoulos. NEVER GONNA GO THERE AGAIN. I would rather cut my hair for myself

I scheduled yesterday an appointment for today at 5 pm that was available. Today I had a lady called me and she was telling me that my appointment is gone she gives to someone else and I had to cancel mine or reschedule it. I don’t appreciate this treatment and I think this is not professional.

Jamie is amazing. She fixed a terrible haircut I received and I have went to her ever since. The place is awesome. Very priffesional and simply the best around. Im very picky when it comes to my hair so me writing this is a huge deal. Go to Jamie, she is a superstar!!!! Honestly finding Jaime was the best thing for me since I’ve been searching for years to find someone that can cut every single time at a very high rate. Well folks she is the one. I am now a weekly loyal customer and truly believe this barbershop starts with her. All the ladies there are super friendly and haven’t seen one bad cut. But for my money. Jamie is top dog.

Let me start by saying the price was very reasonable, and my negative comments to follow may not necessarily reflect a majority of the experiences here. Normally I would give at least a second chance before posting anything negative.On Saturday, August 8th 2020, I went to the Barbershop in Waukesha for the first time. I had to make an appointment but it was less than an hour wait, so no big deal at all. I am a male over 50 with long hair and a beard that had not been trimmed since mid-February. I expressed to the stylist that I want to grow my beard long and showed some pics on my phone of my intended final outcome. I also expressed multiple times that I did not want to lose my hair length. I even pointed out my family members were supportive of my hair and that it grows very slowly. While my hair was being trimmed, the stylist kept saying things like only taking about 1/2 inch off, and I am taking so little off there is hardly any hair on the floor. That should have been my alert to stop her! She then trimmed my beard and it is mostly ok. A little uneven (one side is longer than the other), but that can be fixed when it grows out slightly. My issue is that once I showered at home (my hair was styled there to hang down my back), it became clear that the 1/2 inch off of my hair was more like 4 to 5 inches. Or 8 to 10 years of growth for me. This I can not just wait a month and get fixed. From her comments while doing my hair, it was clear to me that she understood I did not want to lose length, but still cut off a considerable amount of my hair.This is very unfortunate because the whole experience could have ended up being very positive. The atmosphere was great, and the price was very reasonable. But, because my haircut was messed up so badly, I will not return, and thus no second chance.

Love getting my haircut at this barbershop! Always leave here looking great. The stylist Athena that cuts my hair does an amazing job at giving me the haircut i want and makes me feel comfortable the whole time. She does a great bald fade! Love getting the wash and hot towel. Her area is always clean unlike some other places Ive been to in the past. Highly recommend going to her or scheduling your next haircut with her.

What a surprise, unassuming nothing fancy mens salon but always the cut they want. Every stylist has been great. Easy to get in. Superior service. Great price. Hot towel. Shoulder massage. What more could you want. Update - with the loss of our favorite stylist the guys in the family have not been as pleased with their cuts. Unfortunately, they have moved on to another shop.

I was using a different shop for little bit after moving out towards Waukesha but decided to give this one a try. Each time I have gone so far I have really enjoyed the outcome of the haircut. Staff all seem friendly from my interactions so far as well!While not always opted into or mentioned, the warm towel and the shoulder massage add a simple but nice addition to getting a haircut.

Not so great experience. The hair cutter looked in a hurry. Formal nice. She was less experienced. She had absolutely no clue what she was doing. Had to tell everything what to do. I was virtually cutting my hair by myself. I was looking for a hair cutter who is passionate in what he/she does and gives to input what and which style will suit you better. This place was no where near to that.

I used to always cut my own hair but Kirsten does a much better job. And the scalp massage is a game changer. I wont see anyone else!

Would be 4 stars if the weekend hair stylists took their time instead of rushing to move on to next customer. I do not recommend going here anytime after 6pm or right before close time. Your haircuts depends on the stylist as usual, find the one that does a good job and ask for their card. Jo does my hair and she takes her time, I also go in the morning during the weekdays.

So overall I believe I received a good haircut. Wasn’t exactly what I was hoping but it was good. Atmosphere was good, free coffee and sports on the tv. Biggest issue and disappointment really was finding out that they don’t do a straight razor...personally don’t know how you can be called “The Barbershop” and not provide a straight razor service. Straight razor is an excellent way of making a cut look clean. That was the only real drawback, everything else I really enjoyed. Shannon was awesome and I’d recommend her. If somebody who works there reads this please try to get the barbers to start using straight razors, call me old fashioned but straight razors are unmatched.

The shop was clean, and smelt good. When you make an appointment you only need to show up a few minutes early as they dont really do early seating, and the price is a bit more then some of those other places, but hry its worth it. They dont do early seating because of the over the top service they offer....like backrubs, who dosent want a backrub when they get a haircut. If you just speak up while getting yoir haircut they are more than happy to accomdate your request. So sit back and relax watching the individual tv at your chair when they cut and wash it.

When I pulled up I noticed there was an auto parts store and a hardware store surrounding the place. My stylist was very nice and asked a lot of questions to make sure she cut my hair and beard the way I wanted it. I am new to growing a beard and she was very good about giving me some ideas of how to cut it. I also brought my 3 year old son in for his first haircut and he loved it. He was just loving all the attention of the ladies telling him how cute he was.I will definitely be bringing my other son in to get his hair cut tomorrow and make this our place.

Emily had cut my hair once before today... Todays cut was the ABSOLUTE BEST cut Ive had in over 20 years! She was courteous and very friendly! The main reason I will return is to have Emily cut my hair is because again like I said, she does excellent job, but I must say as a single guy she is incredibly beautiful and its nice to look into her face in her eyes and see such a beautiful smile.

I visit the Barbershop every week. Every time Im in there, the ladies have been nothing but kind & friendly to not only me, but also everyone else. I go to the same stylist, Alex, ever time because she knows just how to cut my hair, & even had some great ideas about what to do with my cowlick (we cut that SOB off & turned it into a part).At any rate, Ive found this place to be really laid back, & it seems like every girl in there knows what theyre doing!Keep it up, ladies! You get a shampoo and massage for the same price as my last haircut place where they barely even blow dried the hair off of your face and head. The stylist Taylor is outstanding! So nice and fun. Ive looked for a good solid hair cutting place since my old barber got out of the business. It took a couple years to find a place that did a good job of cutting hair, a location that was convenient, staff was helpful and a great haircut. The Barbershop fits all of those and Stephanie does a great job of cutting hair. Shes the reason I go there, and I can schedule with her with a quick call. Since I found her to cut my hair, I have gone to anyone else.

I sent my husband to get his hair cut and he was given an old-fashioned haircut. They do not make the haircut that one asks for. They do not have updated people, please do not say they are a barbershop if none of them knows how to make a good haircut. Outside massage and hot towels on the face when you really want a good haircut.

Dont really know how this place gets a 4 star rating. The person who cut my hair didnt really know what they were doing, and my hair didnt resemble the picture I showed in the slightest. This place is chill if you want a buzz cut or something. Youre better off going to great clips if you want a cheap haircut. Worst haircut I have ever had!

This is the only place I go! I first went in not knowing anything about the place and had got Jamie as my barber. Been going there for just shy of a year and leave happy every time due to the work of Jamie. She’s very courteous and great at what she does!

I don’t usually write reviews for businesses, but this place was absolutely amazing!! I’m pretty particular about my hair (borderline obsessive), and these guys were spot on. I highly recommend Shannon; she was very easy to talk to and very knowledgable! It’s also hard to beat a haircut, shampoo/conditioner, hot towel, and a shoulder massage all for $15. I’m brand new to the area having had a regular barber for the last 4 years. I got really lucky finding this place, and I will definitely be back in the future! 6/5 stars.

Sent my husband in and ended up with a real botch job. The hairline in the back wasn’t straight and I could tell she rushed because there were patches of hairs that she missed all over. I had to go over all his edges with a shaver. He had also asked for a taper in the back which she didn’t do. Points for the place being on time.

I was looking for a haircut last minute on Monday and found The Barbershop in an online search. I arrived as a walk-in around 1pm and was able to get in within 15 minutes. Diane was my stylist, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. I was looking for a bit of a change in style and had some ideas, but I wasnt entirely sure. She walked me through a couple of options and let me know exactly how she was going to cut and style my hair. (I appreciated this as Ive had a few bad experiences in the past.) When we were finished, she also gave me some simple styling tips and made sure everything was to my liking. I was very happy with the cut! On top of the actual cut, she was very polite and pleasant to chat with throughout the experience. This was my first time at The Barbershop, but if this experience is the norm, I definitely recommend it.

My stylist Cassidy has been great! I have been here 4 times now and I wanted to see what the experience was going to be like before reviewing. I have had my haircut twice and each of my sons once. My haircut the last 2 times has been great! The real joy is bringing each of my sons here and they have had a great experience and walk out with a smile on their face! My oldest tried a new style and was done exactly how we wanted it! My youngest son has hair that is a little challenging because of his cowlicks and his haircut was cut the proper way to have it look great! Calling for an appointment is super easy and appointments have been right on time! I will continue coming back!

I would highly recommend the Barbershop to anyone. Fair price for everything included in the cut (hot towel, wash, back rub). Most places charge extra for those luxuries.

This place is an “upscale” version of Cost Cutters. Appointment was easy to make and they were very accommodating. Decor is decent with comfortable waiting area. But l didn’t come here to sit in those comfy leather chairs. The haircut wasn’t so great though. I told her how I normally like my hair but that seemed to fall on deaf ears. After she was done, I Immediately could tell it was a terrible cut. I would’ve complained but I wasn’t confident in her skills to fix it. Seeing the large $15 haircut sign on the front window, I should’ve trusted my gut and got right back into my car. As the app of saying goes, you get what you pay for.
