Just moved in to the area and needed some haircuts for my 3 boys. This guy squeezed them into his already full schedule, right away, and they got great haircuts in time for school pictures! Fair prices with friendly service and interesting stories, too!

Called around to a bunch of the nationwide brand, local salons. No openings at all on a Friday afternoon. I remember seeing this barber shop on the way to Waukesha so I looked them up and gave them a call at 4:55pm. Derrick answered right away and said he could get me in at 5:30! I got there at 5:23pm and he was done with my haircut by 5:30pm. Perfect haircut and super fast. No B.S. VERY CLEAN place. Derrick is cool, down to earth, guy. I highly recommend them!!! I will be back when I need my next haircut. BTW: They dont take credit cards. Cash or checks only.

This is a great barbershop and I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. The barbers are charasmatic and easy to talk to while you are getting your hair cut. If you are sick of the bad quality chop cuts you get at fast service places stop by here.

Joe is following all the covid guidelines and has created a safe, but still personal barbershop environment. He is great with my son and daughter, ages 6 and 4, who have seen him since their first haircuts. We’ve been coming here since moving to the area 9 years ago and want that trend to continue. If you need a haircut, but are a little unsure given the situation, i would strongly recommend coming here; support your local barber to insure they’re here to serve the public for years to come.

This is a great barbershop that stands head and shoulders above the cookie-cutter chain shops like Supercuts, Sportclips, etc. Firstly theyre real barbers with a lot of experience and skill behind them; and secondly the atmosphere is friendly, personal and authentic. Lastly, and most recently, theyre ahead of the curve when it comes to protecting their customers in light of the pandemic.Ive been coming here for many years and recommend it to family and friends. Even if youre not local, its worth a trip to give it a try, especially if all you have is a chain salon nearby.

This is hands down the best barbershop in Waukesha! We were looking for a place to get our sons first haircut and barber Joe was highly recommended. He is so good with kids and adults. Every barber is amazing at their craft, and they are always busy. Make sure to have an appointment because they rarely have walk- in openings. Also make sure to have cash as they dont accept cards.

I got my first haircut at this barbershop a couple months ago now and Im looking to go back. Ive been searching for a place that in the Waukesha area that gives a proper fade just the way I like it and this is the first place that did not disappoint me. Helena did an excellent job with understanding how I explained I wanted my cut done and I didnt have to wait long either. 10/10 experience, if you are looking for a great barbershop where you can almost guarantee a great haircut then this is your place. My first visit at this barber shop was fantastic. It has nice interior decoration which reflects the high level of choice of the owner of the business.If you reach their early they have nice magazines for you for time pass. For kids nice lollipops are also kept their. You will also find an antique fire alarm system there. Their service is also very good.They are located in a place which can be found out easily. They are nice and clean and not very busy.Cost is reasonable but I think the service person should spend a little more time for the customers and try to know about the service asked for. Overall their service is good.

We called this morning to get an appointment for our 3.5 year old son. Arcadian was able to fit us in right away. Derek was ready when we got there and made our son comfortable with sitting in the chair. We are very happy with his new haircut. I highly recommend him. He was fast and did an awesome job. Our son was so excited to get a sucker. We have taken our older son here and he always gets a great haircut too.

Mukwonago cost cutters absolutely butchered the back side of my head. Did not realize it until I went home. Ended up choosing this place for a touch up and hands down best place I’ve ever been at. The staff takes pride in detail and is very passionate about making the customer happy. I will be returning to this joint for all further haircuts.

Great place for an inexpensive haircut. Experienced barbers.I dont have much hair anymore, but they do a careful job with what I do have. I love the finishing touch with the straight razor and warm lather. No loud music or inappropriate magazines, maybe you will get a good (honest) fish story out of Joe.

I am a 57 year old male and I get my hair cut at Arcadian every six weeks. It is a friendly shop with a great atmosphere. My experience is Joe does an excellent job and his help does an acceptable to good job. Which is ok by me since Im not that fussy about my hair. Ive had cuts from some expensive salons and from the cheaper places and the value here is the best Ive found. Atmosphere is family friendly. I highly recommend this place for a haircut. Joe also cuts the hair of my neighbors adult children who have special needs (Autism and Downs syndrome). Ive asked them for their opinion and they like Arcadian barbershop a lot. I give Arcadian a big thumbs up.

My 4 y/o son and I have been getting haircuts at Arcadian Barber for a couple years. My 6 year old daughter usually accompanies us, and there is a nice area to keep her busy while she waits. They easily interact with the kids to make them feel comfortable. Their favorite part is the candy at the end. I would highly recommend Derek and Joe to anyone considering them for a mens or kids haircut.

This is a great place. For every moment I sat in that chair I was transformed to the barber shop that I used to go to in the 40s 50s & 60s. The place is spotlessly clean. These guys know there stuff. You leave looking and feeling well groomed and I doubt that you can get a better cut anywhere else. The price is ridiculously low.

I have gotten my hair cut about four times at this barber shop. It is clean and has a nice authentic feel.I have always had mixed emotions when I walked out, however, and today was no different.When I walked in with my son, I wasnt greeted with a hello or a hows it goin, but instead You have an appointment, right?When I sat down in the chair, I happened to notice there was some adult TV show on that was pretty unsuitable for a kid, so I told my son he could go play with the toys. The barber told him, Yeah you can play with the toys as long as you clean em up before you leave.. I wouldve had him clean them up in the first place, but to say that to a customers kid is a bit rude if you ask me.I had shown the barber some images of the cut I was after and he said it would be no problem. He asked if I wanted the sides as short as the guy I showed him. I said I wanted it a bit longer than his. Mine is at least as short if not shorter. I tried to strike up conversation, but he didnt seem to be in the mood to talk, other than when he dropped an F bomb with my kid sitting ten feet away in the waiting chairs. He seemed really rushed, which is evident if you look at the lack of attention to detail on the cut I received. The hairline on my neck is really high and has one strange, jagged corner. The fade he gave me looks less than professional. He also didnt shave my neck with a straight edge like they always do.I really want to like like this barber shop, but after four poor experiences, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Joe is an excellent barber with over 40 years of experience. He does a good job and listens to his costumers request. His prices are cheap $12-13 for a hair cut.

I was in desperate need of a haircut and found the Arcadian Ave. Barber Shop online. I decided to give it a try and boy am I happy I did. For years I have been getting my haircut at over priced salons because I cant stand a bad haircut. Unfortunately most of these places struggle with guy hair and when I just want a good clean barbershop look they fall short. For 1/3rd the price of a place like Carenza Vince does a far superior job. Add in the hot shave, old school feel and I have my barber in Milwaukee for years to come.

I made the mistake of going to a different local shop to get my haircut. I was given one of the worst haircuts I have ever had in my life and I needed someone else to fix it (it was that bad). Ive heard good things about the shop as well as Derrick and boy those reviews were true! Joe assured me that I could rest easy for being in good hands with Derrick. Derrick said he could fix my hair and make it look good in this first haircut and he could make it look great at the next one (I had to regrow some hairs that were messed up by the last person). Well I hate to say it but Derrick was wrong, he made my hair look GREAT within the first haircut! I will most certainly be going back, telling my friends and sleeping well tonight knowing that I dont ever need to live with another bad haircut. You guys are now the only place I will get my hair cut!

Honestly one of the best cuts and experiences Ive ever had. 10/10 and will 100% be returning for my next one. Make sure to bring cash or check though as they dont take cards. I felt the price was an extremely good value for the care and time they put into my cut. Also make sure to call for a reservation to avoid a wait, soon after I arrived the lobby filled up with at least 10 people waiting. Made a 2nd appointment. I had to reschedule due to a life event and was treated very poorly - Look, I told other people that I was not available at that time because you made an appointment - I tried to explain tha something came up, he said call back tomorrow and hung up on me.
