So grateful for Jeremy and the entire Hanger team - local to national level. After having a stroke, I was left with a very unusual gait pattern. Everyone on the team persisted until an AFO was made to correct the deficit and allow me to walk normally. Third time was a charm! The AFO looks great and fits perfectly. Thank you so much, Jeremy & Team!!!
Very grateful! I got custom-made orthotics here. Jeremy worked with me until they were perfect. I have such finicky feet! Happy to be active again. (and also to have more variety of shoes I can actually wear). Honestly after years of pain I was a bit skeptical that the orthotics would help any more than my store-bought ones. These made a measurable difference. All the staff are very friendly and its a nice environment to be in. Thanks to all!
The entire team at the Hangar clinic was very helpful as I dealt with a knee injury that impacts my passion to be in the woods with my dogs. Jeremy was friendly, informative, and listened to my concerns about maintaining some level of activity on difficult terrain as we fit my knee brace. I am very happy with their outstanding service and product.
John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He exemplified all aspects desired in a professional. Possibly the best medical experience I have had to date.
Great staff, John is fantastic. Questions are answered and understanding about the prosthetic is easily explained
I have a 29-year-old son with severe autism. He hates shoes. His doctor referred him to Hanger to find out if this is behavioral, or if he really has something wrong with his feet. I was disappointed that we did not see a podiatrist at Hanger, only a technician whose best guess was that there is nothing structurally wrong with the feet except for a high instep which could make some styles of shoe less comfortable than others, and some mild pronation which would not cause any pain. He offered an arch support for the pronation and took a mold of my sons feet. The molding process did not go well due to Johns sensory-tactile issues. So I thanked him and we left. A few weeks later I got a call that the orthotics are in. I didnt authorize them and they will not fit anyway, because the foot impressions were bad. This seems like an insurance racket to me. Im reporting this to my sons doctor because she was under the impression he would see an orthopedist, not a salesman. Update 3-31-2014: I received an invoice for a co-pay today. Mainecare was billed for this equipment. I am furious and will be reporting these criminals to Mainecare immediately.
Great place
