The only problem Ive found with UPS is that unless you mark your boxes as fragile they get tossed and damaged. Even the things I thought were safe got broken.
Packages keep getting stolen, I call for information and they said the the driver supposed to give a call for confirmation of delivery never call, I sit outside to wait for delivery nothing comes but I receive notification that Package was delivered with out seeing no truck stop at the house. That means my 2 cats are going to have no food..
Kind of annoying sitting at home all afternoon waiting for a delivery between 245-645. Watching on the “live” map, truck sits at one place for an hour and then sits literally half a mile from my house for another half hour. Then I get an update saying my package can’t be delivered due to weather emergency. So much for my 2 day shipping.**4/5/21 still have yet to receive my package, still have yet to get a response from a human being. I have sent numerous messages, was assured my package would be delivered Saturday, never showed up. It is now Monday, this was supposed to be 2 day shipping, with delivery on Thursday 4/1. I understand things happen, but to give customers the run around and blatantly lie is very poor customer service.
Ups lost my $1500 package! Its in Waterville somewhere! I waited around all day because it needs to be signed for! I wonder what happened there..🤔
A package was sent from my Dad in North Carolina. This is a Christmas present for my daughter that was hand picked by my mom (my mom passed away shortly after she picked out this gift). They “delivered” it last night at 7:29 to my front door. Nothing was there and nothing had been there. I was up until almost 10 waiting for it. It never arrived. I cannot get this back. My mom is in Heaven how and I supposed to get this item again!?!? You can’t!!!! Thanks a lot UPS, the final memory of my mom doing something for my kids has been officially ruined and YOURE to blame!!
Was ok. Felt like I was a bother just being in the office. It took her forever to come out of the office to assist me or even acknowledge I was there.
ZERO STAR REVIEW! Horrible experience detailing with this location and with UPS in general. Be prepared for them to lose your package and never get you the item that you ordered. They will deny it and tell you that you are wrong. Heaven forbid you have to speak to someone at their office. Hope you don’t get Bonnie on the phone or she will use profanities, yell at you and hang up the phone on you. Good luck talking to the manager there. He’s worked for UPS for 30 years and will remind you of this countless times when you speak to him. He told me that he doesn’t have time to deal with customers and speaking to me was a waste of his precious time. He will talk down to you and tell you that his employees are right and you are wrong. Worst experience I have ever had in my lifetime. Will never give my business to UPS again!

They were supposed to ship an item I ordered from Home Depot to the Augusta store for IN-STORE PICKUP. Instead, they let it sit at the Waterville center for ten days because it *almost met* an arbitrary 150-lb limit they TOLD NOBODY ABOUT. Now I have to find a time to go all the way up there and make sure they load it safely into my vehicle without sabotage or more dangerous laziness.

800 number tells you to go to this location. They tell you the item is not ready and the 800 number always gives wrong information. You also cant have the number to this location so you cant make sure the 800 number is correct. Social distancing at its finest.

We have been living at this site since 2005, the ups driver never had any problems finding us. Now this driver cannot find us or never tries too. Packages are getting returned!!!!

AI customer service is unhelpful, when having to make a lost package claim ...a maze of circular logic. 2nd delivery failure in less than 6 mos, to a very straightforward address, on a well-established route.

Yeah my fragile package was suppose to show up last night a 9pm at the address and it has not shown up and its now going all the way back to baltimore and in transit back to maine should be in maine by the 11th like i didnt miss them i was at the address i indicated it to be delivered to last night and sure enough it wasnt there i waited there from 8:50 pm till 9:45 and no one showed up for a package to be signed for
Easy access if you know where youre going. Very little wait and no problem finding my package. The lady at the counter even helped me load my package into my truck. Great service!
I waited for the driver to pick up a package for return, and he or she must of tip-toed and left a notice stating they tried to pick it up but no one was home. Except, I was home, and I have three dogs that bark loudly when someone either knocks on the door or rings the doorbell. They did not bark so he or she did not ring or knock. They state that they will try again tomorrow, however, I have many appointments and doubt I will be able to be present.If that was not bad enough, getting a rude lady on the phone increased the stress of the whole situation. What a joke this company is. Too bad it is not a funny joke.
Delivery agents dump packages in piles in unsecured places, outdoor, entryway, foyers, halls, and do not notify customers that the packages are there. This compromises privacy and security. Residents of multi-family complexes then paw through the pile to see if one of the packages is for them. July 2, 2019, my tracked package ($300+) was left in a public place without notification to me who was at home the entire day. Delivery agent was rude to a woman who saw, and suggested he deliver to customer package was intended for. I aint got time, he said.
Dealing with UPS CC Waterville has to rank as probably the worst experience of my life. New drivers are always unable to deliver as they rely on GPS which does not work in these remote locations. And try calling the phone # on there website its an absolute nightmare (circle jerk) I get notifications that the address on the package is incorrect when its 100% correct and has been the same for more than 20 years. Amazon please stop using these people . FedEx never lets me down!
These guys are absolutely worthless. They NEVER deliver to rural addresses in the winter. Heads up, online retailers - STOP using UPS in the winter months in areas that get snow. On a related note, the folks at the UPS center did try their best to help me. It is the drivers that wont do their jobs and then lie and say it is weather related. Clear day, sunny but still claim weather delay.
This place has gone downhill unfortunately, sadly theyre losing some of their best staff as well they had an excellent ability to pick up your packages but now theyve switched hours up so if you try to stop in the middle of the day or a little bit late you have to go out of your way to try to get your package.
Counter lady was new but helpful. Wish they opened before noon.
These guys dont even try to do any customer service. Driver couldnt find my house so I called Ups to find out why.was told that the dispatcher would call me within the hour to get directions never got the call. So I called again, the next day. The package is on the truck well deliver it. Still no package. I called a third time, this time I was told that my address is not in the system,so I asked them to add to the system oh I cant do that, we only update every 6 months from the post office data base.
While waiting in line ( days before holidays )Staff was inundated with persons looking to both send/receive packages.With all the stress being unloaded on staff by patrons, all counter personell remained.calm and professional.Hats off to what appeared to be a thankless job.Hats off to those that serve.
Receiving via UPS here in Central Maine is a challenge. Shipping is a nightmare. For a place that has winter 6 months a year, you would expect a package service to be able to deliver in winter weather. They dont. And, it may be days after your scheduled delivery when you finally receive your item. Turnover amongst drivers is high and the new guys too often get lost and run late. If it gets too late, the driver will just skip the delivery or pick up. Not being dependable disqualifies them for shipping. Try FedEx!
I received a large package today 63lbs. I saw UPS pull up front and there were 2 guys. One guy puts it outside my garage. with a tiny knock and walked away. I come out and hes walking away and his helper is watching me trying to drag it in the garage. The box is as tall and wide as me. Really? What if I lived alone how would I have gotten it in the house. Oh and did I tell you Ive had 6 shoulder surgeries. What Happened to customer service?
I was expecting a package to arrive on Wednesday and it is now Saturday. Nothing yet. I get to wait till Monday now. I need what is in that package. They say it was because the weather. It has been sunny and clear for the past 2 days! They need to get their act together. When I called and wanted to pick it up Friday the woman so completely rude. Im not happy with their service!
Pick-up hours are different then what the website lists and UPS customer service tells you. 9am-8pm Monday-Friday you can pick up your package. The confusing part is 12pm-4pm is when you can only ship/send packages. I hate calling the 1800 # but the people Ive dealt with here are very nice. Sucks you cant call them directly

Tracking showed delivered, but UPS never came to my house. I had to call 800 number to open an investigation, which they told me would take 24-48 hours to resolve and that they would have the driver come back to the house to check and see where he/she left it. 48 hours later, driver never came back. I called again to inquire and was told the local branch would contact me to let me know when the driver was going to come back. Tracking no longer shows delivered and now shows First Attempt Made and that receiver was not available on first attempt, even though I was home all day. Here it is 4 days later and still nothing from UPS. Not a 2nd attempt, not a phone call, nothing. What a joke!
Ups drivers work hard to get you your packages! especially Alan Brown here in Maine! Be nice to your UPS driver and dont let your dogs bite them! Lol
I absolutely hate ups service, many packages not delivered on time and then I need to go pick them up, when I dont have the time. Couple times, it has said online that they tried to deliver.......well why is it that when I was home all day did a truck not come into my door yard and or did I have someone knocking on my door? Useless, lazy, and untruthful service.

UPS is reporting false statements of bad weather reports lately and not delivering packages. Its been sunny and 40 degrees lately with rain. Such a joke. Disappointed. There are two other recent reviews for the same issue. No way to contact exact location either thats holding it.
The dark headed lady who I believe is the manager, was not helpful at all, even rude, very bad representative for UPS. I went to UPS in Augusta Maine, they were helpful and very professional.
Worked here they screwed me out of my last paycheck.. The people there dont care about your packages I literally have seen them kick them around like a soccer ball.... Ship with FedEx if you need to ship something.
They were not overly friendly when I was there last. And kept telling me I didnt have any packages out for delivery and I did. They almost acted like i was a nuisance for wondering where my packages were. They were having trouble finding my house.

My package was there and ready for pickup based on my tracking number online. I went to go pick it up and I was told that the lady running the counter was too busy to get my package. And that I would have to go back online and change it back to delivery. I am extremely disappointed with ups I will not be using them again for anything

My husband was sent a check by ups today, and where we live it is EXTREMELY windy. Obviously a check just comes in a flat envelope so it doesnt have any weight to it at all. Ive been home all day waiting for it arrive, to avoid the driver leaving it on the porch and it getting blown away. Well my daughter went out for a bike ride and found the envelope inside a giant clear bag IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, after a car had run it over. Its a dam good thing she found it and not someone else. The least the driver couldve done was knock on my door to see if anyone was home, especially with vehicles in the driveway. There was absolutely zero need for him/her to just leave it outside KNOWING that it would IN FACT get blow away!! So if you are expecting something with little to no weight and dont want it to get blown away, you may want to watch for the truck at all times because they obviously dont care what happens to your package, and that it is just sad and down right ignorant! If you cant respect others property, than you definitely should not be working for a delivery company that delivers packages to people!!
