I must say my mask flew off getting off my car and got soaked because of the rain.. but Really planet fitness..? Selling the mask 1$..?!! Dunking donuts give them for free if you consumed their product and I happen to pay u for the black card and the YEAR membership but u cant hv my back on this very rare life time circustance.?!! Luckily I had my wallet on me..!! 🤣... next time Ill bring a BOX just to supply the other members who might happen to run in this misfortune cituation and require a mask. . thnks.!!

Great until you try to leave. Had to write a letter of medical necessity and bring it to MY Planet Fitness in person then they cancelled my membership. This was after charging my acct. For 4 months after my initial call to cancel.

Friendly staff, good sized space and very clean. Between the equipment selection and price I dont know why people would workout anywhere else (unless you want heavy weights or barbells which in that case, look elsewhere).

Extremely rude and physically aggressive manager - James Norman. I enrolled as a BCM to have access to the massage chair. The staff, all on their own, decided to give me 3 tokens for a 15 minute massage. One has been broken for ages - no repair. I have never met anyone on the one massage chair. This rude man, out of nowhere, no evidence, decides that 3 tokens (15 minutes) is violating rules, literally snatches the tokens out of my hands and yells you can follow rules or get out. He them goes into my account, forges my signature, changes my account settings ( I should have access to any PF) and sends me a cancellation note. Picking it up with corporate and criminal system for Assault and Forgery.

Great price and more than adequate equipment and locker room to get great workout. PF adds a great deal of value to my life. Cost leader facilities but great value.

Nice bathroom... Everything else could use a disinfectant wipe. Overall it was just crazy busy every machine was occupied and, none of the equipment was wiped down. I am all for going to the gym during these times just maybe not a petrie for corona.

The Mashpee location is just great all around. Clean and tidy equipment and locker rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. My favorite gym. Period.

The freeweights section has three benches. Just think about it.....Im convinced whoever designed the layout of this gym has never actually worked out in a gym. The layout and design is seriously flawed.If you want to get a decent workout, plan on standing around like a vulture waiting for a bench to open up and having people stand over your shoulder waiting for your workout to end so they can use one of the three (3) benches.Inconsistent Covid rules. Sometimes the staff tells you to move, other times they let people workout right beside you in the Xd out spots.Consistently overcrowded. Ive been a member at 8 gyms - this is easily, by far, without a doubt, the worst gym Ive ever been to.

Plenty of exercise machines and weights. No free bench press. Sterile vibe. A surplus of attractive women, which is a testament to the efficacy of the place. The staff at the desk were also delightful human beings during my multiple visits. Just something missing in a gym that I couldnt quite put my finger on.

Dont tell me what to wear on my face while I work out.

During COVID-19, I have noticed a significant portion of members who are not wearing their masks correctly. The staff is not proactive at all in addressing these issues and force the members to complain to them. I would recommend considering a different gym if you are in one of the vulnerable populations.

Your stuff is not safe! Today someone broke the locker lock and there are no cameras in the locker room.

I canceled my subscription bc I moved and the gym was closed to “maintenance” issues aka they had covid issues as policies were NOT enforced to protects its members. Story should end there but it didn’t. I moved and was not in area but even if I was didn’t want to risk health and safety coming in. Despite this the insisted I come in to cancel. Spoke to three people finally I thought I was canceled. I put a stop payment on my bank info bc they kept trying to take the money without authorization. The bank stopped them getting it via electronic check however I must have used my debit card there to buy a Gatorade months prior to this. The saved my card info and now are attempting to debit my account months later for a membership I canceled. There is now a dispute being filed and coming soon will be a criminal complaint. My bank informed me that planet fitness has been doing the same thing to many many other people. This gym willingly supports fraud and unauthorized debits from accounts and when blocked will apparently save your debit information to try to back door into your account to steal your money!!! I will tell everyone I know and people I don’t steer clear! They may be nice when you sign up but hey Ted Bundy was nice to women before he killed them! Don’t be fooled and screwed out of your Money!! Go anywhere else but here...these people are crooks!!!!

Clean and very accessible hours. Would be great if there was a real squat/bench rack but what are you gonna do. Staff is friendly. Only real complaint is that the showers suck; they take forever to warm up and then frequently go cold again. More than happy to deal with it, though, given that its 10 bucks a month.

Lots of machines but you have to wait a long time for certain machines. It can be Like a half hour to an hour wait for barbell machines. If you dont need to use a barbell this gym could work for you.there is no waiting for cardio machines they have tons.

A solid gym with friendly staff and very clean. Theyve been more on top of ensuring people are wearing masks, which I appreciate. A good diversity of machines, but do not expect a ton of free weights. If you just like cardio, youll definitely like this place. Can become very very crowded after 6:30pm- due to COVID, about 50% of the machines are closed off and everyone is off work.I wish they would remove some of the machines collecting dust and add more 2+ benches and/or Smith machines and another dumbell rack on the other side of the gym (where almost no one goes). Theres enough space for this to be done with proper social distancing. Its super difficult to get in a good arm workout due to the crowded free weight space and limited weights available! Itd be great to reorganize the gym to get better use of the areas that arent being touched.

Why isnt 75% of gym members wearing their masks? Very poor monitoring of the Covid outbreaks. Very dangerous, people are breathing and sweating all over each other. I expect better from PF, other locations are much more diligent in preventing outbreaks. Wear your mask,please!

Lovely gym with exercise equipments of all sort. Hours are great and its never too busy where one has to wait for his turn to use an exercise machine.

Ive been a member of three PFs and this is a very good one. Great staff, and like your typical PF it has an immense amount of machines, so never a problem getting one. Good free weights and mens locker room. My only wish or improvement is to update the cable TV offerings so you can show Bruins, Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox games. You would see a HUGE boost in your activity profiles.

Disgusting Gym . The manager is a jerk. He is absolutely rude and disgusting. I requested a credit or refund for the months I didnt use the gym. I was sick and in the hospital unable to cancel or put a medical hold on the account. He is refusing to work with me or do anything to help me out. Clearly I will not be returning. He is even making me come into the GYM to cancel. Horrible. I am disgusted. This is not how you run a business and get clients to come back.

Clean. Lots of machines in good order. Everything you need. Staff seems pleasant enough, but not always very experienced. I am a senior and I feel very comfortable here.

Came here during lunch time. Wasnt too crowded and was able to to get on every Machine. There isnt alot of equipment for serious lifting, more machines than squat racks (note, there are none of those here...) locker room was small. But the staff are quite polite

Best Planet Fitness Ive been to. Always clean, stocked, friendly staff (much friendlier and more professional than the Porter Square one), good equipment. The interior look and design is great, lockers have a good amount of space, even for my ridiculously large backpack. Always a machine available, but recommended to go very late or extra early. There is almost nobody there at 3AM if you can manage that. Love that they are open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.My only gripe with PF (all of the ones Ive been to) is they dont have any free weight bench press stands. Dont know if this is corporate policy or what, but it would be great if we could get some of those rather than the Smith machines. Nonetheless, it is unbeatable for the price and service you get at this location.

This is my gym. There are plenty of treadmills. The staff is friendly. The perfect gym if you want to just get in a workout and not stop for chitchat. Very clean locker rooms. The staff are tidying constantly.

For the price you cant do better! This location is extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. Had to wait for stairmaster a few times but not a big deal. In general planet fitness lacks some amenities (towels, sauna) that gyms like bsc gym has but its 10x cleaner than any bsc

Closes at random times throughout the day/week but still says “open on line/on facebook”. Wont answer phones if you call before making the drive.

How can I complain? Its so cheap. It is super crowded between 5-9 pm so the best time to go is before then. I do wish they would crack down a bit more on people who misuse the machines by just sitting on their phones instead of being prompt but it is a large place. They have a small, 30 minute workout area which is nice if youre in a hurry or just want some direction. People do use it for regular workouts when it is busy but its still a cool addition.

A great planet fitness. Full 30 minute work out and black card lounge. The staff are constantly going around cleaning. One of the cleanest gyms Ive been to. Only complaint is no soap dispensers in the showers.

I joined Watertown PF when it opened in October. I really like this gym; clean, friendly staff and great equipment. Im giving it 4 stars and not 5 because the stretching area is so small. Some people dont have personal space etiquette or the manners not to wedge themselves in between two people there wasnt enough space for to begin with.

The place is really big. the all equipment is brand new and everything is clean. I love work out at this gym. and the membership is inexpensive.

Nice PF. 2 floors and large layout. Decent sized locker rooms. Ok staff. Very nice area. A bit of a trip with public transport but possible.

Courtesy rating for my brief visit. Staff were prompt and accommodating as always.PRO: They carry some refreshments that arent available at other PF locations. These Celsius energy drinks. Theyre PRETTY GOOD. ALMOST keto compatible because even though there *are* carbs, theyre less than 5 per can. For the caffeine and vitamine profile, Id say its worth it.CON: Watch out for the layout! The locker rooms are on a split level below and to the left from the main floor. USUALLY you expect lockers near the entrance. This one was a bit of an adventure to find my way around. Thats not really their fault though. They had to make their space work for them somehow!

Too Crowded! I contacted management and they told me the recorded number of projected members per hour is very outdated and does not reflect the recent influx of members. Staff compared the amount of people estimated versus the actual number of people, and the reality is staggering. According to the outdated records, there was supposed to be ~20 people working out from 7-8 on Friday night, but in actuality staff reported it was closer to 80 people. Staff reports this has been happening for a while, not just right after New Years.This is a safety concern, especially considering there is only one staff member that closes on weekends and is left alone for over 2 hours to manage a gym of over 50 people.

Very large gym, plenty of machines to get a solid workout in with no wait. TRX station in the back, large locker rooms and areas to stretch. By far the best PF Ive been a part of.

Dreadful! This place is the judgment zone! This place staff is dreadful especially on weekends! The AM lady staff try! The overnight person is awful! They will change the rules and through you out! This place doesn’t keep the good towels like they use to! It doesn’t cost them more money either! They just don’t care! The bathrooms are Really Dreadful! There’s not any drying towels in the locker rooms! The best thing about this place is the AM female staff! They really try to please the people! About 5 TVS on average don’t even work! Save your money join somewhere else!

I have been a member of Planet fitness @ 191 Watertown St, Watertown MA, since it opened in October 2016. As my workplace is located behind the planet fitness building I find it convenient to have a membership at this gym and have a quick workout every day, during my lunch break. However, today I was stopped, harassed at the door by an awful, rude, disrespectful employee for not having an updated backup debit/credit card on file. I lost my 1 hour of lunch waiting for the manager to explain to me as to why, AS A PAYING CUSTOMER, I was been prevented from working out at the gym. Since October 2016, a Planet Fitness membership monthly payment has been coming out of my checking account. EVERY MONTH. I find it disrespectful, a lack of respect and consideration for your customers. If I am going to be stopped at the door, AS A PAYING CUSTOMER, treated as a criminal, I do demand a refund for all these months that I have been paying the gym membership. Apparently, the money taking out of my checking out is not money.

Very crowded place most of the time. During rush hours, no one cleans anything. No paper to clean equipment throughout the floor, no one doing anything about. Gym goers often mean because in the crowd they often lose respect to fellow gym goers.

Clean, typical gym. As everyone says, stretching area is too small, and not mirrored, which is a bummer, but not too big a deal. The thing that makes Boston Sports Club more enticing is that this location does not have rowing machines for cardio.

Planet Fitness is not a gym that a bodybuilder would think of going to as their first choice for a gym but the PF In Watertown fits the bill for what I need, and I’ve been able to prep for shows by using the equipment here.The gym has very friendly staff at the front desk who greet you when you come in, are easy to work with if you forget your badge or have any questions.The place is immaculately kept and most of not all machines are always in full operation, unlike many gyms I’ve been to that charge a LOT more and never seen to fix their equipment.The locker room is very clean and there are plenty of showers and lockers for everyone (bring a lock, use it for the day but don’t leave it overnight, their policy states this).What I don’t like is that several things are not working or installed and should be addressed such as the men’s hand dryer and the hooks that hold your towel outside of the showers (little things, but they’ve been this way for a while now) as well as simple things like paper towel dispensers not working or not filled (no reason for it) and if also gets really humid during the summer months in the morning making some of the equipment stick.The equipment however is very good Quality and are maintained very well, the mirrors are all very clean as well throughout the day as are the floors, oh and the music is pretty good too!All in all this is a great gym that I call home during my work day and highly recommend it.

When I started it was clean cause it was new... not so much anymore. I’m also very illergic to dust mites and every time I’m there they are using brooms to sweep everything so I end up sneezing and watery eyes all the time! Mats and baseboards are always not clean... I asked if they had vacuums and I got a sarcastic remark from Miyra who works there... she was sarcastic with me a second time and I addressed her nicely... which she soon turned it around on me! Nobody to complain to at all! The owners don’t want to be bothered... not a happy person when I go there.

Place isn’t bad, it’s nice in there, it’s just that it’s real tiny, you guys should kick Papa Gino’s out of there and expand,hahaha🤪😎👍

It works, got my workout in...has an interesting set up. Most of the gym is at ground level, but some of the weight areas and locker rooms are in the basement where you dont get cell phone reception. Not a big deal for me though. Didnt get a hello or have a good night when i came or left, but its not my regular location either so could be cause the employees didnt know me.
