I have been using Damon since around 2005 and they are always professional in every way. This past summer I rented a 15 yard dumpster from them 3x to do house clean out as well as construction in my house and he had the best prices. Eric always returns my calls asap. I have had only a couple issues with payment not being recorded but it was promptly corrected with a sincere apology. This is 5 star service for sure

Quite frankly, Im not sure how this company got half decent reviews. We scheduled 3 weeks beforehand to have the dumpster the week that we move out of our rental. The company calls a week beforehand and notifies us that they cannot drop it off on the previously scheduled day. No big deal...we only need a few days...mind you, still being charge full price to have the dumpster for 2.5 days. Then drop off day comes and they dont arrive or return any calls until 4pm. Then when we call to ask about pickup time they do not answer or return calls until after hours and inform us that the dumpster cannot be removed from the property until the 1 week mark, knowing that we will no longer be residents here and this was previously arranged and agreed to. Also, they do not allow metal or cardboard in their dumpsters?? Totally not worth the money, time, or hassle.

To be fair I finally did get a letter after the fact but still no explanation as to why the abrupt stop in service. Service was good while it lasted but hope they are going for a more proactive approach for all the loyal current and future clients sake.

Damon Refuse has always been a great company in my 13 years of being a customer. If there are changes to your pickup dates, or in your area, it is usually included in your billing statement. Youll get a yearly notice with days where holidays will affect your pickup, or other updates like changes in price or serviceability.What few questions I have had have been promptly resolved, and they have worked with me each time I needed a bulk pickup. If I ever had a billing issue it was fixed with a call. They have always made an effort to provide great customer service to me and my household.

I own a 4 unit apartment house and getting the tenants to buy Watertown City trash bags was a hassle for years. Many of the wouldnt put the garbage out regularly. 2 years ago I hired Damon Refuse and those headaches are gone. And at a good price too. Tenants like it that trash pick up is included in their rent.

Ive been using Damon Refuse for over 15 years, And only had one hiccup. (Trash didnt get picked up one week, Double pickup the next). No big deal, I heard someone had abruptly quit, Hence they were short handed. On a positive note, If a dog or crow (it happens), Tears your bag open, They will clean it up pretty good when they pick up.

I also had to call to find out they were not picking up trash. They could have at least dropped off flyers to their customers or something - no warning whatsoever. Very poor way to run a business!! Everyone should file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals office. And as far as holding onto peoples money when they havent performed the services - I believe there is some recourse on this!

Very unprofessional company. Absolutely no notice that they would be no longer doing trash pick up in my area. Damon refuse has on more than one occasion no call no showed, and refused to take double the following week. On top of that with no notice days after they didn’t pick up we received a notice that they were no longer servicing outside of the city. After all of this they expect us to pay for the entire last month even though they only picked up once.

I have been using this company for years. I have to say they have been very reliable. Even in the worst weather they are there getting the trash. I also have read some of these reviews and I have to enlighten on some things. They dont sit in an office and answer phones because they are out getting the trash. Also youre bill used to be by the bag YEARS ago but now its by the month.
