It would have taken me a very long time to figure out who needed to be involved and the timing of their involvement.Very helpful in developing the obituary and having it published in the appropriate publications and at the correct times.Large choice in printing materials that came very close to meeting our needs. I cannot find the correct words to use to adequately describe my familys experience with Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home. From our first contact with them to make arrangements for my uncle who had been placed in Hospice through the final services. The staff with Schmutzler-Vick helped make an extremely difficult time in our lives bearable. When we sat down to make the arrangements, they listened very carefully to the known wishes of my uncle, additional services we wanted and did a fantastic job in matching our requests to their abilities. There was no pressure what-so-ever. No attempt to over sell their products/services. They did a good job in letting us know about items that we either hadnt known about or had forgotten. We truly appreciated that our uncle never left the care of the funeral home from the time they picked him up from the Hospice through our retrieval of his cremains. Even though we honored uncle Bobs wishes for cremation, through the use of a beautiful rental casket, we were able to have a traditional visitation at the funeral home the evening prior to the funeral, a visitation at the church followed by a Mass. After the Mass those in attendance gathered back at the funeral home for a luncheon. The entire experience truly exceeded our expectations! Our heartfelt thanks to Janet, Paul and the rest S-V staff who served our family during an extremely difficult time in our lives.

Truly compassionate and caring. They realize that they are doing Gods work in caring for the deceased.Not sure where the other rating is coming from. Searched for individual and cannot even locate her. I just buried my father and I found that this funeral home went above and beyond in assisting my family and myself. Extremely accommodating and extremely easy to work with. I would STONGLY recommend this funeral home to anyone!

My sister, Lynn passed in 2012 and Schmutzler-Vick took care of her service. My father, Larry Andrews was burried May 21, 2019 with Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home making all the arrangements. They went over and above all expectations to make our family a part of their family. My dad was a military man. My mom couldnt find the proper paper work for the 21 gun salute. Schmutzler-Vick worked tirelessly on their own to contact Washington DC to arrange the proper military service that my dad deserved. Thank you all for the wonderful food that you served after the service. Our family will always count on you for our future needs. Praying that we dont need them any time soon. Thanks again.
