Service is excellent. The only issue is the lack of parking for cars awaiting service. Not gonna deduct a star for that though.
Have been to this location twice with sudden issues with my car. The service has been fantastic and fast. Dion diagnosed the issue on both occasions quickly and was able to give me various options for repairs and cost. Great communication including a followup courtesy one week after service. Also got a complimentary wash while it was in the shop. First rate service that I will gladly use again!
So my car broke down on the Mass Turnpike (engine light flashing). Luckily I wound up in front of Galen St. Sunoco. ON A SATURDAY. I was about 40 miles from home. AAA couldnt even help me due to Covid rules. Elie took it in, did the diagnostics and advised me that he could get the parts and replace what I needed to get me back on the road. His advice was sound, pricing reasonable. His work quick and clean. Wonderful to see a small business with such care for his customers. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you Elie.
I love going to Galen St Sunoco. I’ve had an excellent experience every time I’ve gone. As a young adult owning my first car, there’s a lot I don’t know or understand. Eli always takes his time to explain what’s being done to my car and why. I appreciate how quick, thorough, and efficient they are. I now only take my car to Galen St Sunoco - from gas to any maintenance. It’s my one stop place!
Great garage service, been going here for years for all maintenance.
Great guys. Super friendly. Good service. Fair price. Thanks Elie!
Careless and low integrity!Got a flat tire on I-90 and stopped here to get a repair. They obviously damaged my car door from their lift when putting the tire on and refused to admit fault. They claim the rust on the door indicated old damage but it was the rust off their lift. They did give me a $5 discount on the tire repair though, that will be a big 1% help on my insurance deductible.
Eli and his staff are ALWAYS accommodating. He does high quality work and with a smile. This is the best service spot for your auto.
Hello! I just wanted to send a compliment. Eli is very thorough from explaining everything start to finish. I was suprised at how quick and courteous service was. I will definitely recommend this shop to everyone I know.
Galen street Sunoco Helped me out tremendously with my BMW front diff, oil pan gasket, and control arm issues. My Vehicle is running like it was brand New. They have now Gained a new customer for Life. Thanks to ELY and the Mechanics.
Ive never felt more confident in a repair shop after working with Eli. These guys really seem to know what theyre doing. Everything was explained thoroughly and accurately, in terms I could understand. Definitely going back
The guys at Galen Street Sunoco are awesome. They helped me out with snow tires a few months ago the night before a huge storm was coming. And on top of helping me out in a pinch, i had actually called their other shop down the road by accident that morning, and they STILL helped me out despite the very short notice. There also was an issue with my car starting, which they helped me to figure out at no extra cost and even tried to fix it the easiest way possible without charging me. Theyre quick, helpful, explain everything in detail and dont push extra repairs/parts/service. They gave me invoices and estimates, explained everything and made me feel like it was still my choice on what i absolutely had to fix and what i could wait on. Will be going to them again in the future for sure
Only went here for an inspection on my 91 Miata, super fast operation. Shop manager (owner? forgive me, its been some time) has a sweet AMG. Would definitely recommend coming here if you care about your car.
This is a great example why I take my car to a dealership! Spend once cry once.I’ve waited 1 1/2 hour for an inspection only to be told the one person who can do this call out sick.
Great service, and highly recommend! Thank you Eli and staff for your help and support with my Jeep today!!!
The Lord directed my path to Galen Sunoco last year for my car repair and it has been a blessing ever since. Awesome reliable repairs, affordable prices, friendly/courteous customer service. No matter the car issues, big or small, Elie will deliver great service with a smile.
Incredible attention to detail and quality of work. From your average repair for your Mercedes/BMW/ Audi to extensive repairs on Lamborghini and other exotic vehicles, Eli and his team have you covered.
If you own a BMW I wouldnt hesitate to bring your car here.I had my 2001 BMW Z3M Roadster serviced here for a power steering pump replacement and couldnt be happier. After getting quotes from the various indy BMW shops in the area, Elie beat their prices by a considerable margin and performed the work in a very timely and professional manner. Hes also an enthusiast which is great.I think I found my go-to shop for all my BMW needs. Ill definitely be bringing my cars here for future service.
Can’t understand why there were people giving one star to this shop... My experience here has been superb. Elie is very helpful; all the services were finished on the same day. Big Thanks!
Outstanding service - comprehensive diagnosis, competitive labor rates, OEM parts, exceptional workmanship & professional service. I highly recommend Galen Street Sunoco from a straight-forward inspection or oil change to extensive repairs to your prized possession.
I had a great experience yesterday, the friendly gas attendant that’s been helping me since I’ve moved into Newton pointed out my expired Inspection while getting gas. I agreed & was taken care of promptly. Also got some recommended service that I thought I probably didn’t need till I was actually shown when my car was in the air (something no mechanics done for me). I had a minor oil leak and belt squeak that’s no biggie but it’s been annoying lately. All in all, I was fit into the schedule for later in the evening and even brought me back in the shop to show me my old parts. Thanks Team!
Really pricey for regular repair service, check your receipt.
I get it, it is cold, however if you don’t want to pump the gas at a full service gas station, not the job for you. The gas pump would not set and kept stopping after $19 on a full tank request. So instead of pumping it himself he said my car had a problem 😂🙄. No there is something wrong with your pump and it’s cold and you have no gloves on so you don’t want to pump the gas yourself. Unbelievable!!!!!!
I stop by this gas station on May 16, 2019 due to I had a flat tire. Coming back from Logan airport where I spend over two hours in traffic. I was frustrated and far from home. The manager Elie was polite and kind to me. He understood my frustration and offered to helped me. The tire was fixable and the cost was reasonable, I was finally safe on my way home. The tire took less than30 minutes to fix, customers service was superb and the cost was reasonable. I will stop by here again for service and gas when in the area. 😊
Great service and staff. I needed a side mirror for my car. Even though the supplier messed up the order and caused major delays. The staff, especially Eli, took care of me by not charging me for the labor and returned my down payment. I will definitely go back there in the future.
The manager Elie, staff, and family at Galen Street Auto are just amazing. They were incredibly kind and helpful to me and my family when we had car trouble. Fantastic people. The world needs more people like them!
If you have need for a great mechanic or gasoline, this is the best choice for anything you want to have done!
Always very helpful.
What a great shop! It was a Friday the 13th, and we were on the pike driving home. My best friend already never wants to leave the house on Friday the 13ths but we had an appointment in Boston that we could not reschedule. Well, sure enough we ran something over while driving on the pike westbound and blew a quarter size hole right in the tire. We safely made it off exit 17 and saw Sunoco. The man working Mashad (I probably just destroyed his name I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE!) helped us right away. Yes in most cases its easy to change a flat but we do roofing. Its an F350 with a bed full of debris and racks full of heavy ladders and wooden planks. So not an easy task. They took us right in and changed the tire super quick. It cost next to nothing but the value of how much time was saved cannot have a number of equal appreciation! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE GREAT CREW AT SUNOCOO ON GALEN ST. OUR THANKS RUN DEEPER THAN OUR WORDS COULD EVER EXPRESS! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN SO MUCH! This day could have been way worse but luckily everyone was safe, no terrible damage was really done (other then the 1 tire) and hardly no time was wasted! AAA would have taken at least an hour just to get to us....we are so grateful that we didnt have to wait for that!Once again guys THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Best gas station in Watertown. Quick to help out and service your car. Whatever you think you need they will provide. I had an issue with my brake pads and they fixed it no less than 15 mins.
Honest & reliable service. Living in Watertown and having these guys down the street is very convenient. My BMW needed some brakes & tires so I shopped around and these guys beat the local competition by a considerate amount. I knew the second I met and started speaking with Elie (Manager) that he knew what he was talking about. Recommending preventative maintenance & not upselling me for extra things I didn’t need. An enthusiast with passion for what he does. I’ll be back with the wife’s Audi soon! Thanks guys!!
Best service Ive ever had specially for me I dont trust mechanics I felt very comfortable with what was explained to me
Ask for Junior, he does it all.
I came to this gas station on february 26/19. The guy on service asked how much gas i wanted i said $10, he got distracted, then went to a diferent costumer and the i got charged $22.65. I never requested that amount . This guy was very unproffesional to resolve the issue . I want my money back . Not acceptable
By far one of the best shops around. Phenomenal service and great pricing. They only use OEM parts and the technicians are very experienced. Its often said that you shouldnt buy a used german car because of the cost of maintenance....i say BS!!! If You find great shop like Galen, youll be fine.I had 7k worth of work that need to be done ( quoted by the dealership) which included the rear guibo, oil leak, alignment, drive belt and tensioner, fried electric module, and more.My 3rd party warranty company initially denied the claim. It turns out they denied the claim simply because the dealership was overcharging.I was refferred to Elie. at Galen st. He was able to negotiate with my warranty company and get them to pay for all of the work I initally needed plus more!!!
Attendants and mechanic were very helpful. Ready to do an oil change even though all I needed was a quart. Will return when Im in the area. Thank you!
So greepy i dont remmand this place at all.its bery empty thats mean no one trust him.tried to charge me 35$ just to put my spread tire on
Eli is very knowledgeable, great service, fair pricing
Do NOT have any sort of service done here. Dont be fooled by the fancy cars on the lot. They will damage your vehicle and refuse to admit fault. Even when all evidence is clear that they caused the damage they will try to treat you like an idiot. Logic doesnt work on the lot of this business. They will not listen to the evidence. They will not listen to anything you say. All they will do is repeatedly throw any and all excuses they can think of in your direction to make themselves feel good while denying you a true repair for the damage that they created. The best you may get is an offer for a cheap touch-up as a courtesy that is in no way a proper solution to the damage.Im not the only one this has happened to either; scroll down the reviews here and see at least one other reviewer with similar issues. I just wish Id read the reviews here before taking my car in for service.Edit: Since the manager has chosen to continue his excuse making here in a reply, Ill add even more detail.First off I will re-iterate that I am clearly not the only one that has experienced this sort of issue here. See another review below for proof of that. A pattern exists.Second, there was not a single 1mm chip, and it was not minor. There were multiple impacts ranging from 6-9mm in diameter, that went through multiple finish layers and exposed bare metal. They were in proximity to lug nut holes that had fresh scratching from them removing the lug nuts to get my wheels off.Third, The tire machine alone does not entail the full extent of the work done. Manual work had to be done to remove and move the wheels, then put them back. In a busy garage anything can happen. Not everything is always perfect in the real world.Fourth, offering to show me how it could be done perfectly does not preclude the happenstance of an accident. The manager here would have you believe that in the traffic-laden, construction-free, less than 2 city mile driving distance between arriving at this shop and my noticing the damage from his shop:* Two separate events occurred on opposite sides of my vehicle at extreme enough force to go through all finish layers of my wheels down to bare metal multiple times in 6-9mm splotches (which, by the way, in my entire life have never seen even once, even while driving on rocky dirt roads, because rocks get flung *away* from the wheel...not into the face of the wheel)* Both events just so happened to affect ONLY the wheels that were handled in his shop, not either of the other two wheels on the vehicle* Both events just so happened to damage both wheels such that the damage was on the inner portion of the wheel close to the lug nut sockets that had fresh scarring from their wrenching, which he even admitted was from them.* Both events didnt affect the finish on any body panels at all. So whatever did the damage was focused solely on the wheels, only on the wheels they touched, and only on the region of those wheels that they touched. It is exceedingly clear that the chances of all of that happening are nil. This is not a coincidence. The owner can make all the excuses he wants, but the fact is that the damage occurred there on his premises. He doesnt want to admit it, which is fine. Not everyone can admit mistakes. Just if youre reading this: take your business elsewhere.
Do not go here. It is closed for construction. There is another Sunoco about a mile up the street.
Not awesome. No English either.
Friendly employee...
No gas available.
