I normally am a very private person and wouldnt post a public review for a social service I have had to receive help from. However, today I lay down my pride and ego to acknowledge the invaluable service the WIC program provides to thousands of women and children across the country. I would also like to especially recognize the Waterloo WIC office as exemplary. Every single interaction I have had with them has been above and beyond helpful.  For someone like me, who is new to navigating the world of benefits, and very weary and reticent to accept help... I can confidently and gratefully say that I have always felt un-judged and safe amongst these people.  They do not condescend and they make you and your child feel welcome, and valued. So, thank you to Dean, Kayla and everyone at the Waterloo WIC location for helping me to keep my head held high in trying times, while theyre overworked,  underfunded, but not unappreciated. I know they are helping many others as they are helping me. Thank you, you are seen and you are making a difference.

Really appreciate your time and effort in helping out the community and folks from all walks of life with little to no judgement until you put children in a risky situations; even then you know they care for doing right with everyone. Thanks again for the opportunity to work with your company. Heroes.

They do a great job. I greatly appreciate the services they provide. Information given has always been accurate and everyone is always very nice!!

Helpful, long wait but quick once youre called back.

Great for mothers with newborn to children age 5. Helps with nutrition and stretches your budget for other foods.

The employees act judgemental. And talk down to u. I quit the WIC program.

I was visiting with a nutrition assistance up at the wic office on 2/6/17 and Im sure she is not a doctor but she really tried to tell me her option that if I gave my baby a bottle before bed that that was making my daughter have ear infections? News flash!! I was like really because Ive been to school and Ive raise my kids for almost 16 years now and ear infection is viral or bacteria not from giving your child a bottle at before bed!!! Get your stuff straight frfr!!! I probably go to the doctor for my kids more times in a week than you do in one year!!
