I had a wonderful experience using Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Pick up was very quick, but I noticed when I drove the SUV I picked out had an issue shifting gears, as it bucked when I accelerated. Since I was going to do some mountain driving I called Enterprise when I got home and they told me to bring the vehicle back in and select another one. The next SUV was wonderful. I drove over 3000 miles without any issues. Drop off was as quick and smooth as pick-up. Thank you for a great experience.

Always a great experience. The one time they didnt have the vehicle type that I needed I was forced to go to the Budget at the Waterloo airport. It was HORRIBLE! Scary bad customer service and I spent hours waiting for the minivan I reserved months earlier. I will never use Budget again but I am so thankful for Enterprise and their excellent customer service!
Spent over $1500 renting and had a past due balance from dropping off a rental on Tuesday (4/20), tried to pick up my rental on Saturday after paying the balance and was denied. STILL waiting for the area manager to give me a call back as to why, but Ive fixed my car and cancelled all future reservations now. Thanks for letting me keep over $2000 because of your poor communication!

I had a short wait but I’m waiting there was excellent customer service. The gentleman worked diligently to find a rental for me and another lady who was waiting patiently. They presented a nice clean car to me and the transaction went smoothly. Even with all the disaster happening around us and them hardly having any cars available, they still provided excellent service! The Enterprise office in Waterloo is absolutely fantastic! They are MUCH cheaper than Avis at the airport. They picked me up at the Waterloo airport even though their office is several miles away from it. I ran into a serious issue and Trey and his team were friendly, easy to get in touch with, and very helpful. I give this Enterprise office my HIGHEST recommendation!!!

Was the best customer service Ive ever had with them ever. We ended up with a compact SUV for me and my 3 boys along with all our stuff. There was just not enough room. We stopped in Waterloo, IA hoping that they would adjust us. They did just that above and beyond just that putting us in a luxury SUV and gave us the rest of our trip in the best way ever.
Car is always ready, sometimes a little low on gas, but always clean, friendly, and professional service.

I have always been treating real good from the people at enterprise I rent from the few times a month this is def the best place to rent by far well after my last visit I will not go back they charged me 50 dollars said smoke was rolling out I didnt even have anything smokable on me then they took the charge off but still charged tax I had car 2 days was suppose to be 64.00 and I paid 97 and cannot get nobody to explain how I was charged extra I also seen they charged for extra hour I was within 20 min they also told me they had to give car up right away so did that mean they didnt clean it for covid very upset with how I was treated on last rental I rent from these guys 2 to 3 times a month but I wont ever again

Reserved vehicle online, went to pick up car employee was professional and efficient. Was in and out and answered all my questions.
Overall the experience was ok. The first car had front problems had to take back n get a different vehicle. It was not explained that I had 24 hours with the rental. Thought I would get discount for returning early. Put extra gas in car when returned also. Then I was not notified that I was charged a 100 cleaning fee for some ashes that were on floor board until I called them when seeing the difference on my card.

Over all it was a pleasurable experience. My own car had been making some strange noises and so I felt it would be more prudent to rent a car to take my grandchildren back to Nebraska to meet up with their mom so they could get back home to their home residence. I made the reservation on a Tuesday and picked up the vehicle on Thursday.It would help tremendously to have had a seating chart available to know what the seat layout, as well as luggage provisions were, but I managed to get that passengers and luggage situated so everyone had room to relax in.The only shortcoming of the experience was that they had no parking area for customers vehicles while the rental was being used. My wife had to find a person to pick me up since I had returned the rental after closing hours. Enterprise did pick me up the morning of the rental, that problem could have been solved by having an assigned parking area for customers vehicles during the term of the rental, especially since mine was only a three day rental.

The only problem I have with Enterprise is that they do not check the drop box at the end of each shift. There have been two times I got charged for having a car an extra day and I didnt and they had to refund my money. I just think that should be routine considering whats going on with covid 19 lately and is just easier to drop the key off in the box. But I was told by a guy there that if I drop off a car during business hours to make sure someone is handed the key so that doesnt happen again.
The radio volume knob wasnt working right and no dome light. Other than that nice car great trip, will rent again from enterprise!
Very slow, I mean really slow. I purposely show up late as they rarely have auto available. Had to wait outside in the heat because of covid. We needed a vehicle to go a distance for a Dr. appointment. Had to sit in heat for about 30 minutes.My location could of easily set up proper distance regulations inside as there was plenty of room. If my reservation was set for 12 pm and I show up at 12:45 pm I expect the auto to be ready. Service has really gone down hill in Waterloo Iowa. I expressed my unhappiness with agent and said I should be going to Hertz.for awhile.
The experience is ALWAYS amazing. I rent a car about once a month and it is consistently amazing. The app makes it easy to book and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The cost is so affordable. We rent a car for all vacations and longer trips. People rent more cars! Use this service more if you can and when you do there is not a better place to rent a car. But they took care of everyone sooo fast. The guys were working non-stop and smiling all the while. I felt like a real person and not like a object. The cars were being washed and checked as fast as they were coming in (Noel?). Jeff, the manager, worked with us and others to make sure we were pleased. Thats service. Thats why I switched from Hertz to Enterprise. They care, they show it and they are top notch in cars, hospitality and knowledge. Love my car rental company. Linda

It was a great experience but when I returned the vehicle before they opened, someone added extra hours onto my bill and they took it out of my deposit...however they did give it back to me after I called to complain. Not sure if I will rent from them again
These folks were great. We rented a car for our vacation and it was wonderful but when we got home our car wouldnt start and Enterprise quickly agreed to let us continue our rental until our car was repaired. So appreciative of the 2 guys at the front desk that helped me. Someone hit me and totaled my car THE DAY I was going to sell it. I was running late past closing time and called ahead and told him I could not go without a vehicle because of my 4 month old son. He told me no problem to take my time and he’d have me set up when I got there. He put me in a reliable, clean car for my son and 2 step daughters to commute comfortably in. Enterprise in Waterloo Iowa was excellent. They had the SUV I reserved, quick checkout. I was able to use my debit card (with deposit) which most places wont take . Quickly refunded deposit back into my bank. Thanks!
Getting the car was great. About 1 hour into driving, the check coolant message came on. It stayed on ther whole drive, even though the techno gauge stayed halfway. Trying to lock the doors was another joke. It would not lock. Not even trying to lock it manually. I had so many issues with this car. I called their customer service annoy the doors not licking, they didnt seem to care. I guess contacting corporate is the next step
I give these guys 5 stars for absolutely going over the top in customer service. I always go with Enterprise car rental despite having Hertz discount through employer. I find Enterprise to be the best priced for the vehicles you rent, no surprise fees, no limits on anything or any gimmicks. I just made an account purely for the purpose of warning other not to rent from here and I wish I could give it 0 stars! Does anyone know any places to rent a car from in the Waverly/Waterloo area? Because we have been dealing with the enterprise in Waterloo and it SUCKS I really don’t want to give them my business but it’s looking like I might have to. Their customer service is horrible and the manager is extremely rude! On top of that they are horrible with giving details on things so the day we went to rent the car they wouldn’t let me pay for it because it was in Jamie’s name to rent it. That’s not what I was told over the phone! So not only could I not rent my car. I wasn’t able to leave on my trip when I was supposed to! I was told that whoever paid for it just had to be present to swipe the card. The reservation is not in my name because I’m not 25 and it’s an obscene amount of money extra to put it in my name. Now we are waiting for the money to hit Jamie’s bank so he can pay for it. I called yesterday to let them know we were waiting on the money to be accessible and that my reservation still stands and that I would be there that night or today to pick it up. When I called today to let them know it would be today or tomorrow the manager said they didn’t even have a car available today! Seriously!? I was told the day before that that would be fine. Now you don’t have a car!? I’m praying they have one tomorrow because I’ll for sure have my money then. I just have no desire to rent from these people. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with them! The last time I rented I didn’t know it was an extra $200 if you use your debit card. They told me it would be refunded to me when I returned the car. After almost a week and half goes by after I returned it and they still didn’t refund the money. I had to call 4 times for them to give it back to me! Horrible service and horrible people! I hate I have to get my car from them. They were making a lot of people mad the day I went in there. The whole place needs to be restaffed or trained on how to speak to people. Rant over 💁🏽♀️ if you can help it, don’t use enterprise in Waterloo!
The check in process at the Dallas Ft. Worth airport was very smooth and easy. A personal attendant walked us to the truck we picked out and it was a nearly paperless process. And to have a 6 passenger truck so our group could ride together and haul the items we need for our project was invaluable. The whole experience made Enterprise my favorite rental car company.
Amazing customer service!
I had an intermediate car reserved and when I got there all they had was a two door. When I declined it they said they were cleaning a four door and I could wait for it. When I got the vehicle it smelled like an ashtray. When I complained the guy said all of our cars are nonsmoking and people that smoke in them get charged 250$ penalty. So he gave me 10 dollars off my bill. I literally had to drive with the windows open everywhere I went for nine days. I complained at the drop off, different sight, they said they couldnt do anything because I didnt pick it up there. I would have to call the original pick up sight. Not happy....So I responded to the response below but never heard back from the pick up rental office....
I was very pleased with the rental overall. The only comment I would have is minor and is related to cleanliness. It only takes a few minutes to run a quick vacuum and ensure the doors, console, and steering column are wiped clean of anything spilled from the previous renter. The other item is one I find with most rental car companies so not exclusive to this rental, but the inside windshield needs to be washed occasionally. When never washed, the glare when driving into the sun is very noticeable can make the suns glare more intense. Not every time, but every 10,000 miles the inside windshield needs to be washed.

I rented a car from there at the end of June. My pick up appointment was at 4, both the employees were gone and didnt show up until almost 430. Once the car was rented I pointed out the broken mirror he never catalogued it. Now its May 14th the manager is horrible, I can not get through on the phone line. I was charged for an extra day and I have had 4 different charges pending on my card ranging from 48 to 125. now the charge of 125 has came out and theres another charge of 48 pending

My vehicle was broke down and I needed something fast while my vehicle was being repaired. The staff was so very friendly. I had a young man named Dev help me out. He was so nice and made sure I had the help I needed. I dropped the vehicle off 1 day early and off course Dev greeted me with a great smile. He helped me return the vehicle and refunded me the extra day I didnt use. Very awesome place and great people!
I rent the car on August 23 at 1pm, because I wanna help my cousin to travel to Chicago at 2:45 pm my cousin call me that the airline company canceled the tickets, shell travel on the next week, my house and the enterprise car is just 4 minutes, I take the car to their services at 3:16pm, I told them I didnt drove the car because the trip was canceled, the guy said no, we cant refund you and they charged me $134, in the next day I called their service they said they gonna call me back but until now no call
I often rent vehicles (7), cars and trucks, to visit my daughter in South Dakota. I have received prompt and personable service at the Waterloo location. The staff is knowledgeable about their vehicles. They always explain the insurance rates, the gasoline refill rates, and the mileage components. I really recommend this service to anyone that needs a rental for the day or week!

This store is always busy! They handle their customer load very efficiently. While I was in the manager Jeffrey V. had a challenging customer. He maintained his professionalism and managed to calm the customer and seemed to solve the problem. Dev did an outstanding job assisting me with my reservation. The other associates Ashley V., and Tre did spectacular expediting the phone (that was ringing off the hook!) and getting everyone in the store squared away in a timely manner. Excellent experience. I was picked up and dropped off. Really made the transition process coming in and returning the car smooth;reduced a lot of stress that could have came up. The weekend special was super reasonable for the amount of time I had the car for, and the online reservation process was easy. Employees were efficient, especially the gentlemen who picked me up and dropped me off, as well as the rep who took care of me- Pifa, both very professional and polite. Overall, great experience.
I cant speak about the price because it was paid for by my boss for a business trip. They let her pay in advance and all I had to do is pick it up. The staff there is AMAZING! Seriously! If I ever need to rent a car again Ill definitely go here!

Everything was great! This was the first time renting with enterprise and the first time renting at the Waterloo enterprise. The customer service was exceptional. Very smooth transaction. They were upfront with everything just like their advertisement says. We Will definitely be back.
I reserved a truck and when I got to the store the day of. They told me the truck I wanted was not available but another truck was. Then after having reserve a week in advance they say I can get a different truck but wait I dont have a credit card, BUT I can rent a minivan with my debit card. How can I rent 1 car with debt but not the next. Also the minivan and the truck I wanted cost the same amount retail and the rental price is only $7 difference. So why is one ok with debit and one not is what I asked the guy and myself. He answer was that our policy. On top of all this I go outside and one of the guys that wash cars for you them tells me that thats what this store does when they over book a vehicle. So if you decide to go to enterprise waterloo iowa expect the run around and possibly not to get the car you need even though you reserve early.

Firstly, I had to call and wait almost an hour for my pick up from the Waterloo airport. When I arrived at the location, there was only one customer service rep available for the 4 or 5 people waiting to be serviced. She had to stop servicing customers because the Waterloo Police arrived to take a report from her regarding an identity theft and attempted car larceny of one of their rentals. She explained that it was Spring Break and a lot of their cars were at the airport. I finally get to the rental and the customer rep did a walk around of the vehicle and explained all the extra rental options I could add on. I was annoyed that he overly stressed the smoking policy in the car meanwhile the drivers seat had SEVERAL OBVIOUS cigarette burn holes. The car was not checked when it was returned and the tire pressure was terribly low as it caused me to swerve almost causing an accident. This meant they didnt check the car before the issuing it to me. Nonetheless, I was very surprised to learn that I was charged a week for a 5 day rental.. I have used Enterprise in White Plains, NY and that was not the case. I probably will not use Enterprise again...too many issues.

Worst customer services ever. Never has cars. They dont value your dollars. Wont explain detalls to you leave you paying an arm n a leg if you dont read the fine print. I been waiting for a week straight just to hear back from management. Seem like they just took my money and run. Never felt so cheated out of money in my life l. Ask the lady to save me money. She charges me for everything possible. Upgrade my car n charge me for it cause they didnt have no cars. Gave me a 200 dollar deposit that I didnt know about. After the fact told me that I could used a credit card for my transaction to save me 200. Not only that charge me for two extra daysWhen I called for a late drop off. Told me I couldnt used my deposit to add extra days. Took my deposit n gave me $8.40 back. Call n ask whats going on the just rob me blind. Told me I will receive a refund this week somehow have to call again cause its still doesnt show up. They gave me a horrible upgrade the whole time the car said maintenance required. Ask the manager to take look at it send one work to look at. This guy literally open the door close it n run back in. I had the car detail n left in great condition. If you want somebody that value your dollars dont go here period. Will never do business again
Due to having a reservation, I was in an out in under 10 minutes. Loved the Ford hybrid that I rented. Loved the option of adding satellite radio as well. Never had an easier or more pleasant experience renting a car.

Getting the car delivered is always a great feature. We continue to have issues with the billing part. We are a tax exempt organization and often get charged tax. This time I was billed for 3 days instead of just the 1 I had the car. I have not seen a correction for this yet.
I always choose enterprise when renting a car because the prices are great and the employees do everything they can to make sure their customers taken care of.

I made reservations online for a cargo van. I was told it was available but when we got there, they didnt have one. We had to take a small pickup and the mattress & box spring had to be tied down because they wouldnt fit. Fortunately, it didnt rain until on our way home after delivering them.
Great staff to work with and very reasonably priced. Totally worth it when driving to further destinations without putting the wear and tear on your own vehicle.

My experience with Enterprise has been an excellent rental car service. Customer service is excellent and I had a problem with a vehicle while on vacation and Enterprise picked up the vehicle and brought me another vehicle and I thought that was superior service.Keep up the good work and the customer service that you provide.
Clean black Altima that was good on gas and rode smooth and quiet, and it was delivered to my workplace. The only gripe I have is that I was told that it would be delivered by 1800 (I needed it at 0600 the next morning, and that was before the office opened). When I went to pick it up at 1830 the night before I needed it, it wasnt there. It wasnt delivered until about 2000.On the last 2 rentals Ive had, I have requested a midsize and have been given an Armada and an Expedition. Both were clean and safe, but much too large for my actual needs.
Best place to rent a car great service good prices and dependable travel. I always go though the La Porte Enterprise have never gone wrong when needing a rental.
