I just finished my assigned work with Caring Transitions for today.The day was delightful as well as painful as I helped to move and resettle a couple of loving caring and hurting people. That was today!yesterday was different --my job was-- to vacuum a house that we cleaned out and get it ready for the real Estate market.Every day is a new day, new adventure and new people. But no day is a disappointment. i love it all--from cleaning to moving to sales to resettling and donation runs to humane society, churches shelters and more. .I have had many jobs over many years and I have found one that I am passionate about.I am so proud to be a part of Caring Transitions . The people I work with are the best. And the people I work for are even better.I love that we are called CARING transitions.. I see it every day.We really do care!!

What an amazing group! Kerri and her team will do everything needed to move a loved one to a new home.. They handle every detail in a move in a caring, friendly manner. It made things so easy for me in Arizona to move my mothers items twice.. once from her home to a retirement facility in Iowa, then once again to an assisted living community nearer to me in Arizona. My daughter and I had the responsibility of taking care of my uncles estate. He had no children or other family members nearby. We had been through this experience with my mother four years before and knew that it can at times feel overwhelming. My uncles home was in another town which made things more difficult. Caring Transitions was recommended to us by a friend so we hired them to remove and sell the contents of the home. Let me say that it was above and beyond our expectations. They emptied the home quickly, cleaned up afterwards and sold the contents a short time later. After the sale the profits were deducted from the moving bill which even after their cut left us with only a very small amout due. We were so happy. Caring Transitions made our task so much easier.

We hired Caring Transitions to help us move our mom to assisted living, and we are so glad we did! My siblings and I all live a distance away, and it was wonderful not having to do the physical move and figure out how to dispose of the things that were no longer needed. Kerri and her crew were all extremely accommodating, and the move was done quickly, efficiently, professionally and with compassion. We highly recommend Caring Transitions.

Caring Transitions of Northeast Iowa does fantastic work. Considering they are the only company that assist in all aspects of senior relocating in the area- I am amazed. They are so caring and kind and willing to admit and then fix any mistake that is made. Kerri is reliable and her staff always come to work with smiles on and sleeves rolled up. I cannot imagine having to do all the work that needs to be done in this process (which is a lot), without Kerri and her crew. She has great contacts to resources that everyone she works with can use, and is always ready to get done what needs to be done. Ive been dealing with Kerri and her people for several years now, and am always favorably impressed with them. I have used both the online auctions and the on-site sales many times, with excellent results. Snafus are few, and are dealt with promptly and cheerfully. I also know people who have utilized Kerris transition services -- they report similar positive experiences.

Worst experience of my life. Was told of a couple of options being onsite sale at the cost of $2500+ or have them come and move the belongings to their warehouse for $1500 and sell there and online. Thats all we were told. Obviously opted for the less expensive option. They broke things... threw a lot away... took and posted very very few photos. This was in May and I have yet to hear back with what was sold, plus does not provide an itemized list. Very unorganized. Have not hear a word from anyone until this review. I would not recommend this service to anyone. I guess you live and learn. I would go with a more reputable company. I find it very hard to believe that in a 3 bedroom home with collectible and antiques there wasnt at least $1500 worth of merchandise.

They walked us through the process providing a very thorough detail of how the sale would be handled, what happens to left over items and what the costs and commissions would be. They removed all items from the house and even cleaned up afterwards which is not something we had expected them to do. Once the items made it to their warehouse they then sorted and cleaned all the items that were put up for sale. They were courteous, professional and kept us continuously updated throughout the process. The sale was held in a timely manner and did not take weeks or months from cradle to grave. Handled in a very timely manner with fair prices assigned to the items by them.Everything they said would happen did and there were no hidden secrets. I would recommend them to everyone. I recommend you listen to what they have to offer and you always have the option to say no but I am confident you will join in partnership with them. Needed to hire a company to take care of a very large problem for me..... Downsizing and moving to a new location 1500 miles away. As one of my neighbors was cleaning out his home I got the chance to meet and find out about a business I knew very little about. Well, let me tell you, having the opportunity to meet Kerri, the owner and operator of Caring Transitions of NE Iowa I learned a ton of information. I said if I was ever in a situation that required me to downsize or move to another location absolutely no question who I would hire!!! They handle every aspect of your move or project! From, taking your unwanted stuff to charitable organizations, to selling your things that youre not in need of any longer on an online auction or onsite auction, to packing your belongings to be loaded and transported halfway around the country. Amazing staff, personable and never worry about the job being done right! Ive moved about 5 times in my career and this by far has been the best way Ive ever handled this move and I have Kerri and Caring Transitions to thank for this. Disappointing experience. Company sold me an item, provided incorrect pick up address, would not respond to requests for correct address, and refused to refund me or allow a second pick up attempt. This could have been a positive experience. It was not. Not recommended at all.

Ive never met anyone that works as hard for her clients as Kerri, she is truly passionate about her job and that is something that you dont find everyday. She continually goes above and beyond so when looking for this service her company is the one to hire.
