HORRIBLE! I am big on customer service and they have none whatsoever! The guy who answered the phone was inappropriately RUDE! Had a horrible attitude. Did not let me speak clearly, kept interrupting me and ended hanging up in my face. They clearly did not want business today. I called back because that was annoying and the lady that picked up the phone was just as grumpy. Didnt even answer the phone like a business place should. It was a plain hello with an attitude! When i was trying to explain to her what happen, she automatically said and why would he hang up on you. Useless, rude, ignorant people.

The night before my vehicle wouldnt start when I was trying to go home from work and I thought it was because of the engine light that came on just the night before. Little did I know that the issue was a bad battery. A young man named Tim asked me about what it sounded like when I tried to start it and he figured out that it was just my battery. Well on top of this I couldnt get into my SUV so I did whatever needed to be done, got in and started it right out. Thanks you Tim for your kind service. It was really appreciated.

Tim is awesome! This was the best experience I’ve had with a tow company EVER! I got nervous thinking that I may have to wait awhile after filing a claim with my insurance, but within 15 minutes or so, the tow truck was here. Tim was very professional and super nice and respectful. He brought my car all the way to New Britain within 30 minutes and even dropped it off all the way back in my driveway and called me when he completed the job. Awesome customer service right there! I will definitely recommend this towing company to my friends!

I requested road side assistance thru my insurance company. They contacted Eastwood. I waited more than 2 hours before I called them to ask why the tow truck has not arrived. The lady on the phone even knew my address without me telling her. She said the truck should be here in 30 more minute...but it never came. After 3 hours of waiting I had to call a different company and pay out of pocket.

This place is Awsome I had a female driver come and tow my car and she was fantastic. Ill never use any one else but Eastwood.

Leeeeegit the best customer service EVER!! From Ronan, at dispatch to the actual driver of the truck - unbelievably amazing. They both were extremely nice - which, unfortunately, is not something I get to deal with on a regular basis. They were extremely quick to get the vehicle I needed towed and amazingly communicative - no waiting, no wondering when it could be done. In the past Ive had to wait hours for a tow, they were en route immediately and at the property in no time. If you need towing call them!! They literally made such a less than awesome thing to deal with no big deal!! I hugely recommend them!!

They were sent out as part of my roadside assistance coverage because of a flat. Got a call from the driver to update me on ETA. The guy that came out was professional, courteous, and fast. Had the flat changed in less than 10 mins. Great, efficient service.

If I could give them no star I would. Waited for over two hours on a bright sunny day now its dark out and theyre still saying their on their way. Lies!!! Never ever again. Carla your unbelievable. You will never get another service call from me or anyone I know.

My truck locked up on I-84 just as rush hour traffic was heavy. The driver, Will arrived within 15 min of my call. Even stopped at the bank on the way home so I could pull out cash. Definitely using them again and will recommend!

Showed up to my quiet dead-end neighborhood at 10:00pm.Brakes squeak really loud (FYI- sounds like its time to replace them) and had EVERY light on there towtruck flashing for 10 minutes.But why flashing lights if your not even towing a car? Does it make you feel like a big shot?My dogs and every dog in the neighborhood went psycho, wouldnt stop barking.

My husband and I were stuck on the highway with a broken trailer. I called our insurance company to get a tow and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. Boy was I surprised when these 2 gentlemen showed up 15 minutes later. They were both very nice. They loaded our trailer onto a flat bed and brought it home. They were kind enough to back the trailer right up to our garage and put the trailer in it and put the trailer on a piece of wood so it wasnt crooked. This was a huge help since we were missing a wheel on the trailer. I feel that they went way beyond their jobs in taking care of us. For this I say thank you Dan and Jay you guys are awesome.

If only they had negative stars to give!!! Seriously guys with so many bad reviews most for the same things you’d think you would rectify these issues already. Come on step up your game. All the comments of overpricing, bad customer service, being rude, seems like the same lady in the office loves to be rude and hang up on people not to mention Jim’s awful attitude and lack of compassion for people’s situations. Like things for us aren’t going bad enough already this company wants to make the whole experience 10x worse. And I totally agree with the one review, the guy said it very well..... you guys have an awful attitude and don’t treat us like customers, but more like somebody that you did a huge favor for and now like we owe you something for your help, other then paying the bill obviously. Definitely a condescending better then you type of attitude in the air. I’m a young driver, owner operator, with a young family to take care of. I’m already worried this incident may put me out of business and the last thing I needed was to end up with an awful company like this who over charges on everything and make the whole experience so much worse. These people are crooks and over charged on everything, the times they stated that they was on my job wasn’t even true. One example we left the scene after everything was finished around 930 and they dropped us off at the hotel at 10 o’clock exactly but the bill stated they was working on the scene till 1047, among other things. Point is they squeeze you for every penny they can and don’t care about the affects of their actions on others. Probably assuming insurance is paying so they charge as much as possible which still isn’t right. They towed my truck Friday night to their shop. I took a rental car home Saturday morning. Spent all day Monday and Tuesday making calls figuring everything out including how I’m gonna come up with money for all this when I’m already struggling to pay my bills at home. I thought I caught a break when the people at Eastwood informed me that the truck and trailer was separate and I can pick up the trailer anytime and only pay storage on it till day it’s picked up. I think great I can get the trailer and continue to work for a week or two to keep bringing in money to pay for this. So I take every penny I have and put it into my back up truck to get it plated inspected and roadworthy. Then I drive ten hours from Cleveland oh to Waterbury ct. to pick up my trailer with only $150 in my pocket to pay for the storage and get back to work. After I drive all the way there the owner decides he’s not gonna give me my trailer unless I pay the whole bill of $2500 and rising. I come up with a credit card that someone loaned me to pay the bill and now the owner decides he won’t take a cc, he wants it all in cash so... screwed again. So I end up being stuck in Waterbury for three days trying to figure this out. Had to borrow more money to pay for hotel and food while here which I couldn’t afford. The money it cost me to stay in town could have paid a couple of my bills back at home. After 3 days of going back and forth and calling everybody I possibly could to report these people I finally talk to a dot Sargent who talks to Eastwood and gets them to accept cc. So we finally go back to Eastwood to pay with my grandfathers cc that he loaned me, who is with me by the way. Now he gives me a hard time about paying with a cc that isn’t in my name. Anything to be more difficult as usual. Finally he agrees to let him pay. My grandfather is old and crippled and can hardly walk so he stays in the truck. I ask the owner to walk outside to get his permission and signature whatever he needs and his response of course was no I don’t care he needs to come in, there’s that lack of compassion for customers again. I was amazed they even gave him a chair to sit in when he did finally make it in. Took him almost an hour to run the cards and get a couple signatures, again just more games if there’s. The whole time we’re there it’s nothing but tough guy attitudes and condescending tones.

Don’t Ever called them they are rude charge to wait too much if you want to good towing person I have better recommendations for you. Never in my life have i had the rudest person, who was one of the bosses, didnt help with anything if you need a tow call someone else the drivers might bw nice but she was rude will never call for them again also over priced.

If I could give no stars I would. Drivers are RUDE AND LAZY. I probably had one or two ok ones but the rest are so rude. I never look forward to when they come to help me because I know I’m always going to end up upset because of how mean they were. No customer service at all. They should be trained on how to work with people of all kinds.

These people are crooks! My fiance ran over a mattress not his fault was dark and no shoulder to get over leaving Waterbury. Mattress got wrapped under drive shaft took our electrical out and it stalled. We were calling TA cop said he will call local tow place he knows theyll take great care of us. Anyways 3 tow trucks arrived we were charged max rates for each one. Plus $1500 for clean up it was half bag of trash everything was wrapped under semi! One guy was to big to fit under semi to drop drive shaft its automatic semi! 2nd tow guy had to what a joke! 3rd tow dropped us at hotel for $498 !!! We have proof when we checked into our hotel the bill had times on it they lied about. How do they get away with this? Anyways were from Cleveland so we drove a rental 9 hours home cause they were closed on the weekend but 24/7 thats why the cop recommended them. Called on Monday find out pricing we only have liability. Jim said we could get trailer it was separate. We figured we would get truck once we saved $2500. Drove all the way to Waterbury get there and they said we wont release anything till you pay the whole amount. I tried calling with credit card they were so mad it wasnt insurance so they could charge more they said we can only accept CASH!!! Long story short the Sargent called and made them take credit card after they paid 2 nights in hotel plus storage fees on each for 2 more days. Went to pay with credit card they tried fighting and then tell me no again! Until they found out trailer was in someone elses name they had to release it!! Were filing all kinds of complaints after this.. we dont want this to ever happen to anyone else. CT has strict laws with towing if your victim call the local DMV and BBB!

This company is terrible i had a scheduled tow and after showing up 45 minutes late the guy said he couldnt pull my car out of the parking space because of the snow. I told him i would push the car out myself and he said ok and when i started pushing out the car the guy took off leaving me dumb founded and with my car now blocking any other vehicle from getting in or out from the parking lot i called to notify them and they flat out said to bad what wonderful service would never deal with this company again.

Then a year later after a divorce and move i wasnt able to locate my salavage report which she (the receptionist) always says Keep Track Of That Paperwork I called her and she went above and beyond to assist me so that i could get my new car on the road. Great service. Called becuause I needed a truck pulled out of the snow bank of my driveway. Gave me an estimated time of 30 mins, showed up sooner. The driver was polite and helped us get the truck out. I know some companies quote you one price then when they get there say its so much more work and jack up the price, but they didnt. Even though it took him longer than expected to pull it out they kept the original price. Worst snow of the year but Im glad they were there to help. Thanks!
