This is the ONLY place to have your car repaired to original condition with manufacturers parts. They up hold your rights as a consumer! Let them turn something bad into something good.

I was looking for a shop in Waterbury to check a car I was buying to be sure it wasnt in any unreported accidents. I called several other shops with higher ratings on Google and rave reviews before I called Stanleys and I was astonished at how short and unprofessional they were. They basically had no interest in being accommodating. Then I called Stanleys. Everyone I talked to was friendly, professional, and very accommodating. They were able to squeeze me in. And the technician who looked at my car did a very thorough job. He took the time to walk me through every detail of his diagnosis. I was extremely relieved I didnt give up and felt I made the right decision by having my car looked at by Stanleys. Anyone would be in good hands with this shop. I highly recommend them.

Great family owned American business! they repaired a minor scratch that occurred to my vehicle, within minutes I was on my way back home! that alone made me a customer for good! should anything ever occur again in the future this will be the first Autobody repair shop that I will seek. Best body shop in CT. They only use OEM parts and only do repairs according to what the manufacturer recommends. The owner will stand his ground when insurance companies want to put used or junkyard parts on your car. Their work is top notch and their customer service is the best there is. If you need body work done or if you car is in an accident, bring it to Stanleys. They work for the car owner, not the insurance companies.

One would expect as a first time customer at this place to receive good service in order to earn my business. What happened was totally the opposite. They have the worst service, the worst timings and on top of all the worst attitude and disrespect to the customer.I brought my car to be repaired and it stayed there for 11 days before they even touched it. I was originally told it would be done within a week. When I called to inquire, the owner made me feel that he is doing me a favor by starting to work on my car. About 10 days later when it was done and I went to pick it up, I found one of the parts is still damaged and did not get replaced at all. They got very mad that I pointed it out. I could have easily refused to pick up my car until it was all done and had them deal with the insurance and rental place but I did not want to do that to them. I picked up the car and came back to get the part replaced and the owner was rude, furious, disrespectful and kept yelling in my face for no reason except apparently that he had to touch my car again. This is the worst customer service I received at any business I have been to in my entire life. There is nothing worth dealing with these people ever again.

This place does top notch work. The car will look new when they finished. The Secretary is great also. We had a rental car from Hertz while our car was getting fixed. Hertz started calling and breaking our stones saying they wanted the car back by the end if the business day. I called Stanleys and explained the situation. The Secretary called Hertz and that was the last phone call I got from Hertz. This is an excellent body shop and they treat you w/respect.

Amazing place to take your car for body work! Mark was super helpful and professional. He took care of everything from start to finish between dealing with the insurance company to making sure the repairs were fixed and flawless. The crew there did an incredible job on my car. The attention to detail is completely out of this world, the color match is absolutely perfect, Jose the autobody tech is a complete master mind as well as the painter Alex and the detail tech Al. My car looks like the accident never happened and as if the car is straight out of the dealership. I will recommend this place to everyone and any one and I will never go anywhere else. Stanleys Autobody is by far the BEST state-of-the-art body shop! I cant express my satisfaction and gratitude enough!

Stanley’s Auto Body is a well-run body shop, from the front desk to the repair facility. They are very helpful and knowledge and will accommodate your needs. They will only put new dedicated parts on my car. They know how to negotiate with the insurance company to get everything covered and done right. Wont take my auto body repair anywhere else.

September 23, 2015:Just to let you all know that I am extremely happy with the work done on my car.The windshield hanger “Detail Checklist” is a great feature! Tells me all the other services that were done.Obvious great work to Annibal on the autobody and Lou on painting. It looks 100 % +And give Jennifer a high 5 on the detail cleaning. I was going to send the car out to be detailed but now I don’t need to.Above and beyond as always.Best Autobody shop!

I highly recommend Stanleys Auto Body to everyone. Intially I was recommended to go to Stanleys 15 years ago for a very bad accident I had by a Hartford Insurance adjuster that I happened to meet while at Curtiss Ryan Honda. The prior insurance company (which I wont name but begins with a P) fixed the car but when I got it back something was not right. I brought it to Stanleys and right off the bat Michael let me know that the body wasnt even fully on the frame. Michael handled the incident and was and am very grateful to him. Now 15 years later I get hit again and theres no doubt in my mind where to bring my car. I will be a loyal customer as long as they are still in business. They are a business built on integrity :-) Thanks to Stanleys Auto Body Jeanne....p.s. I do not work there or have not been paid to give my opinion.
