I highly recommend bringing your kid or kids here. My daughter has excelled in this program in only 4 months. The staff is great, understanding, patience and kind. It took awhile for my daughter to find something she’s passionate about and she fell in love with karate with just the 30 minute introductory appointment. And has loved it every second.

We are so proud to watch our little tiny tiger practicing for her next belt! Senpai provides a fun and disciplined environment to learn and grow.

Our shy son (5 yrs) is enjoying his coaching and experience at Okamoto’s very much. He feels comfortable in the dojo and enjoys the instructor’s interactions. Fred is a very kind and caring person who remembers the children’s names and takes time to recognize their efforts. I’m very pleased to have my son in such a great environment that helps him grow as an individual. Well worth the money!

My children enjoy coming here every week. Senpai Fred provides well-structured, challenging and yet fun classes for the students. I like the flexibility in scheduling and the friendly atmosphere. An excellent place for students to learn and grow — I thoroughly recommend!

Our family has had a wonderfully positive experience at Okamotos Wasilla over the last 1.5 years. Its been tremendously rewarding to watch our daughter progress through their classes. Each day is a lesson in respect, patience, listening, and improving skills. She is gaining experience in preparing for exams and learning that hard work pays off. My son attended Okamotos for several years at the Wasilla dojo. I was pleased with the instruction that he received. Sensei Fred does a great job. He adjusts the training and instruction to the skill level of the student, and he keeps the attention of the younger kids.
