I met Vanessa when she did beautiful bridal hair at my friend’s wedding a year ago. I adored her work and her personality then and immediately contacted her about her availability for my wedding day. She spoke openly and professionally with me about my hair and look on our trial session and her work for my special day…I was so sad to undo the look I wanted to keep it forever. My hairstyle lasted perfectly all day, Vanessa got along great with all my girls (she looks fantastic herself too!) and I will definitely ask her again to work with me in the future.

I have been following Destiny for my hair care since 2017. I have natural red hair and I’ve always been told that if I want blonde, the best I can get is a yellow/gold tone. I don’t like the warm look and Destiny is the only person I’ve found in my entire life that can lift me to a cool platinum color. She always takes her time to be sure she understands what I’m asking for even when I don’t have the language to communicate it properly. I can “describe the vibe” I’m looking for and she runs with it. I would literally fly to a different state for my hair color if she ever left Alaska. She is honest and if she doesn’t think she can execute something at a high level, or if it wouldn’t look good on me, she will just say no or offer a better solution. Destiny is the best.

Every time I go in, Taylor takes the time to give me a thorough consultation, asking about challenges or frustrations I’ve encountered. She is well versed in a myriad of professional products and has been a tremendous help to me in finding the right products to address my concerns.Throughout my visit, Taylor is continuously educating me on how to care for my hair to help keep it growing and staying healthy. She actively listens to the ways I style my hair and what I’m trying to accomplish. Many a time, through this process, she has uncovered some thing or another that I am doing that is harmful or at least counterproductive to the variety styling goals I have. She is extremely knowledgeable and extremely patient.
