Taylor conducts the annual fire systems inspection at my apartment building. There are multiple buildings as part of the property that they must inspect. However, they claim that their inspection could be from 9am - 6pm, and that the fire systems are extremely loud (which is an understatement- they are so loud it is physically painful).Well, today is the day for their annual ‘inspection’, and I have a sick child home, yet they refuse to tell property management when the systems check will occur. It’s 2021, get a better handle on your operations to make your clients more comfortable. It’s business 101.

The guys at Taylor Fire protection are by far the best in the state! I have used them for my business and my home they are very honest and we will keep using them!

I live in an apartment in South Anchorage and was told that the building was getting a fire alarm upgrade. Didnt sound to difficult or time consuming, but for Taylor Fire, it was... We were told that they could show up anywhere between 8AM and 5PM. They were knocking at 9AM, timely, the only good part about them.They then went and drilled a new hole in the wall in the hallway. The young guy said he had to come back because they didnt have the part.... How do you show up to do a job without a part? Twenty minutes later he returned and finished his part of the job. Then he told me the boss would come in and finish up. I said fine whatever. Thirty minutes later the boss came in and started working. Within a few minutes though he received a phone call and started swearing and cursing at his phone, really classy... Then was on the phone for nearly 25 minutes before coming back in and finishing the job. I also had ESPN on TV before I went to work and we was more distracted by that and took him even longer to finish the job and had to tell me his personal opinion on everything going on. Lastly as he was finishing, since he put a hole in the wall plenty of drywall and dust fell to the ground. I asked if he would vacuum it up and he said he would do his best, so he got on his hands and knees and picked up what he could and didnt have a garbage can to put it in... What a joke... Took 2 hours to finish a job I could have done in 15 minutes.Fine, Im glad the fire alarm system was upgraded, but the customer service and the people that were hired were extremely unprofessional and rude. I WILL NEVER USE THEM or RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
