I have always been extremely anxious to go to the Dentist but the entire staff from check-in to check-out was very friendly and helped ease my anxiety. The Dental Hygienist explained things to me I’ve never had explained to me by another office and reassured everything, always making sure I was comfortable and talking me through things - 10/10 recommend!

I recently switched to Meridian Dental because I was unhappy with my previous dentist. I couldnt have made a better choice. The doctors, and assistants are happy to talk me through things I need. The work and costs were equally painless, as well.

Not only did they accommodate my schedule, they were polite, conscientious, and very thorough. The dental chairs have massage controls in them for an even better experience!

I went in with a cracked tooth! Everyone is super nice and caring! I especially liked that Dr. Gurr was hoping he could save the tooth, but he found the tooth cracked too far down. It had to be removed. And even though I was a last minute appointment, he took the time to remove my tooth, right then and there! Meridian Dental is amazing!!!

I went into Meridian Dental today to have a deep cleaning knowing that it wasnt going to be fun. Much to my surprise the cleaning was nowhere as bad as I expected it to be thanks to Bri one of their Dental Hygienists. Bri was very compassionate about her work and did all she could to make me feel as comfortable as possible while doing a great job on my cleaning with virtually no pain.I highly recommend Meridian Dental for any dental work you may need!

Did a great job on my crown, had complications with an existing fake tooth in the way but they found a way to get it done without costing me more money or having to come in for another appointment. Fit perfectly and hardly felt anything when the numbness wore off. Never had a bad experience there.

I had a root canal done last year at the Endodontist in Anchorage. I never got a crown on the tooth which resulted in my tooth breaking a few days ago. Excellent service! They fixed all of my teeth on the same appointment and used extreme care with my medical disorder. After a horrific experience at a previous dental clinic I was nervous to start over with a new dentist (explain my medical issues over again). DR. Pieper and the staff were fast and professional.

Showed up for my appointment and was immediately taken to the back for x-rays and an examination. Staff was very friendly and compassionate and explained the procedure I would be having very throughly.

The reviews of this place could not be further from the experience I had. I saw Dr. Gurr and the 2nd star is because the work on the tooth is acceptable. However, the lack of consideration during my appointment as well as 3 days and counting of excruciating pain after will stop me from ever returning. I’ve seen many dentists, Dr. Gurr’s skill with a needle and care for the well being of the person in the chair are the lowest I have ever experienced. I honestly felt like a bother to him. I wonder if he is a sadist or just a terrible person. All of my pain is a result of his lack of skill and care, fully preventable.UPDATE: I saw Dr. Gurr on 2/8/21. He was back from out of town. I don’t use my legal name on reviews due to harassment I’ve received in the past. I am still in pain on 2/17 from the work he did, though not as bad now. I STRONGLY SUGGEST A DIFFERENT DENTIST. But it’s your mouth, take the risks you want. Meridian response on 2/16 saying he has been out the past few weeks is a lie. He had returned 2/8 and as far as I know wasn’t leaving again until taking the day off on 2/15. He was absolutely there the week of 2/8!

I took my 2 year old daughter there for her first checkup and everyone was friendly and courteous. Her dentist was awesome with her and explained that the goal of the appointment was for it to be a positive experience for my daughter. She did fabulous and enjoyed going. I’m very happy with Meridian Dental so far!

It was our first visit to the office and they absolutely went above and beyond for my me and my son. Everyone, from the front staff, to the dentist and his assistant, went well above basic service. We were in and out in record time and my son was out of pain. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing Staff!!! Super friendly, very clean and professional! How can you beat heated massage chairs!?! They put your dental X-rays on your private screen above your chair for easy viewing. Went in for two fillings. Had a very bad experience with my last fillings (not Meridian Dental), so was a little nervous. Doctor and staff are very friendly, making sure you are comfortable with whats going on, and i didnt feel a thing. Very fast, thorough, and want to make sure you are happy with the results. I will be going back.

I had made an appointment for a regular cleaning, but my husbands tooth started hurting the same day I made the appointment(later that evening). So the next day I called to see if I could get him in early and they said, No problem! We were able to get in that very day as new patients, and they fix my husbands tooth problem. They also rescheduled our previously scheduled cleaning for that day since we were already there, which meant that we didnt have to make the hour drive to the office the following week! Super accommodating and really nice hygienist and dentist. Also really appreciated they gave us a cost estimate before any work was done so we knew beforehand and could make the decision to have work done or not. There was no sticker shock at the end. Office staff were also great! Overall really excellent customer service and felt they bent over backwards to accommodate us despite their busy schedule. Highly recommend Meridian Dental!

Great experience. Staff was very friendly and professional. The clinic space was warm and welcoming. In my 50 years of life.... never met a dentist that took only a few shots to completely numb me. Well, the dentist there was the first ever. From reception to chair and out the door, it is the best dental visit I have had ever.

Meridian Dental has an amazing staff. From the time you are greeted you feel comfortable and welcome. The providers are all easy to discuss your care with and they are thourough in explaining what to expect.

I have been going to Meridian Dental since I moved to the valley in 2017. I have been so happy with their service- I even went ahead and scheduled my two children (Ages 4 & 3) to have their teeth cleaned there from now on. The staff has always been too kind and accommodating to everyone that has came through their door, including myself. At most dental clinics I have been too in the past, I have bled during my cleaning and dealt with pain while having my teeth cleaned due to the hygienist, but never at Meridian. They are very careful and make sure you’re as comfortable as possible at all times. I can not recommend this dental office enough!

The people were so nice. I got my first tooth extraction and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. They made it go smoothly and as pain free as they could making sure I was numbed up enough and stuff. And that was just from a walk in I didn’t expect them to remove my tooth so soon. Thanks!!!

Dr Gurr is the best dentist I have ever used. He is gentle and very thorough. He always explains what is happening. It’s always enjoyable to go there. I have always had an excellent experience with meridian dental :-). But today they went above and beyond. They fixed myfront tooth that had completely chipped a corner of my tooth off. Within 30 minutes of me leaving it had re chipped. I called oh, they instructed me to come back. Within 30 minutes of me arriving they had fixed my tooth that had re chipped as well as filing another tooth to make sure that this said issue would not reoccur so easily. At no extra charge.

These guys got me right in with no insurance and got my tooth pulled quickly. Everyone was very nice and professional. Thank you!

This dental office is amazing!! I loved the Heated massage dental chairs and they even brought me a blanket because I was a little cold. I was so comfortable the entire time I was being worked on. They have the sweetest Hygenists and they are so gentle. I have a really bad receding gum line and they were super careful not to cause me any pain. Dr. Gurr is amazing! The hygienist at Meridian Dental was so good at explaining WHY I need to brush and floss. She did not give me a lecture but ACTUALLY explained to me the process of gum disease. Very helpful and informative yet gentle and effective. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Our family recently moved to Wasilla and I was nervous about finding a good dentist. I have had 2 appointments already and couldn’t be more pleased! The office is very clean, the staff is professional and sweet. The hygienist did a wonderful job with the cleaning. Dr. Scott Allen is a wonderful dentist! He took the time to answer all of my questions, and I had many. He was very professional and caring! He was very careful and gentle while working on my teeth. The last thing I wanted to experience while the drill was on my tooth was an earthquake, but Dr. Scott Allen handled it very well and definitely had a steady hand! He also made sure that I knew what he was doing every step of the way! I have more work that needs to be done and am definitely going back to Dr. Scott Allen!!

We are new to the Valley and heard about this dentist through a family member. I was so pleased with how quickly we were able to get in and get work done. The staff are very helpful, smile all the time and know their stuff!! The doc is great and quick and was very precise with where the numbing needed to happen.
