Bought a set of stage 1 injectors and a hydra tuner from them about a month ago for my 96 7.3 power stroke. I can say that the shipping took a little while, as expected in these times, but it was worth the wait. I gave em a call before ordering and they recommended stage 1s with all I had done and it really brought the truck to life. The team was great with questions that I had and really delivered on the tunes. The truck has had a smile on my face since the first test drive. Would absolutely work with them on any future needs.

I had my transmission fixed with them in December of 2019 and it just went out July of 2021 after 20k miles. Their warranty is for two years but doesn’t cover overheating which was the prognosis. I was told it’s dirt and mud on the radiator and that could be cleaned off for $250 but when the cooler was replaced with the transmission there was no note of cleaning the radiator and the “mud” in the picture looks old like they didn’t even clean it the first time. After talking to other mechanics and transmission shops that could be the only reason. So I spent 5k less than two years ago and they want 3.5k more now and the warranty won’t cover it. I will never take my truck to this shop again or recommend anyone here again. Guess I just have to live with a broken truck for awhile.

0% recommend. Terrible experience with our 7.3. Overcharged $1000 from the quote without calling. Argued when we said there was a problem, and then when it was found to be their fault not even an apology. Truck still isn’t right. Take your money elsewhere or prepare to be frustrated, overcharged, and argued with.Edit: You don’t have my name because it’s my SO’s truck, but doesn’t mean you didn’t do me a poor service as well. I drive that truck too. If you don’t like this review, be a better business.

These guys rock, I ordered a big kit in 2020. had a ton of setbacks with my build and they still support me on it just now getting finished up.If you need 7.3 stuff and need someone to actually help. Do yourself a favor and call Dusty. Hes the man!

1023 can’t be beat. My hydra tunes are amazing I’ve never seen or knew my truck could run so good. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants good tunes for their hydra!!!

I write this review almost a year later. I had a new oil cooler, EGR cooler, and several other things done by them after a recommendation by a friend who resides up in Wasilla. I had a terrible experience with a shop in Anchorage the months before (hint hint; it rhymes with Farm Dipping Boys), so I was really hoping 1023 would be great. Brooke and Robert were awesome, and very accommodating to my requests of making sure the shop before didn’t mess anything else up while installing injectors on my van (spoiler; they did). They were extremely communicative and fair on pricing. I was moving down to the lower 48 and needed the truck ready to go and they made sure to get it in and out as quickly as possible, and There were no issues throughout my trek down to FL. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Robert and the whole crew are fantastic whenever I have to come into the shop or call. They diagnose the problem and will work with you on getting your rig repaired with new or available great condition used parts, depending on what direction you as the customer wants to go. They are great at setting an appointment and getting your rig in and out in the time frame depending on parts availability. They take a personal interest in you and your rig and follow up with you making sure everything is meeting your expectations. I won’t go anywhere else for any work on my diesel truck. I have had my truck in to 1023 Diesel on a couple of occasions for 2 separate issues. Both were resolved quickly. Brooke and Robert both took additional time to answer my questions and concerns without indicating that I was holding them up from something more important. This is something that I truly appreciate. Attentiveness to the customers concerns and questions is something that I notice. On my second repair, I was given a quote for the repair. I accepted the quote. When I went in to pay my bill and pick up my truck, Brooke noticed that the mechanic didnt have to use the part that was special ordered in. She adjusted the price (DOWN) from the original quote. THIS IS INTEGRITY!!!She also drove my truck to assure me that an issue that I had noticed and mentioned in the steering was normal.In my dealings with 1023, I feel as though they truly do value me as a customer, not just a number. Robert informed me of another potential issue that was insignificant at this time, but noteworthy.Ive been in my service trade for 37 years. I tell folks often, Im not a cheap date. With quality and experience, should come the expectation of a slightly higher price tag. 1023 comes with a slightly higher price tag, but I feel confident from my experiences, that it is most definitely warranted.They have earned my trust and my loyalty as a customer.

I purchased some injectors and a 1023 tuned Hydra from another company and the Hydra did not have the tunes I asked for. When contacting the original company about this, the same employee that said he would get my tunes added to my order changed his story and said that I never specified which tunes I wanted and tried to charge me for the correct tunes. I called 1023 and told them what happened and sent them a few screenshots of my conversation with the other company via email and within an hour, they emailed me the tunes that I asked for. Excellent customer service even rectifying the mistake from another company. I will definitely be a return customer for 1023 Diesel.

1023 Diesel and Fleet is the best diesel shop in town. I have a 2012, 3500 Dodge and they have all the stuff to do what you want. I had the EGR Delete, 4 Stainless exhaust, turbo back, Programmer, Cold Air Intake and all the other good stuff. It is easy to talk with them, they listen, dont push, make recommendations and let you choose. They are helpful, friendly and treat you right and they even call you back. I will not be going to any other shop in town.

Great diesel shop - had new injectors, glow plugs, custom tunes, boot kit, valve gaskets, and a few other service items. Easy service, communication and experience! truck feels brand new and the high performance tunes will get you laid for sure! Fast and smooth!!

Transmission Repair and Diff ServiceBoth Brooke and Robert were very professional. They took my truck in after my transmission blew same day. They got nee back on the road not too long after getting the parts in and also upgraded me in the process. The total came out exactly the same as the estimate which was nice not to have any surprises. They also did some small incidental fixit repairs while under the hood at no extra charge. I will be back, but hopefully under more voluntary terms :).

Have been working with Dusty (for the first time) on tuning a 6.4 project I have in my shop, and am very impressed. Product is important, but people are more important and 1023 clearly cares about both. I’ve dealt with my fair share of know-it-all tuners who are arrogant and usually difficult to reach- a very frustrating experience. Dusty has been available almost every time I call, has always returned my calls, and has even checked in with me without being asked. How many people can say that of their tuner?!Anyway, this is our first experience but I look forward to working with them more in the future. As a fellow shop owner, I highly recommend 1023 Diesel/CIT tuning based on my experience.

Very knowledgeable and friendly service

Had an issue with stock canned tunes from SCT. Contacted Dusty and he helped me immediately and was very professional about the transaction for two tunes. The half rack tune from him is very smooth and very powerful when needed to give it a little extra juice! The Ludacris tune is amazing as well and really shows the power of a stock engine! Very fast and very smooth! Would definitely recommend to everyone looking for a smooth easy tune!

Great company with unbeatable customer service, had a few hiccups with getting some tuning dialed in but Dusty was great to work with and called me to ask how the tunes were before I even had the chance to get ahold of him.
