Look, I am a bit disgruntled...We are trying to help a little old lady from Anchorage find a place out here.I have emailed you the application as I was told was an adequate process:No response.Today is Saturday, I drove to Anchorage and picked the little old lady up and brought her out here for the advertised open house from 10 AM to 2 PM... where is it?Apparently it’s not in Wasilla and it’s not in Palmer... where is it?The assistant property manager at the Palmer location knows nothing about it... 🤦♂️🤷♂️ Huh?Both your website and your flyer outside your main office state “call 357-0256 for more information”...We call...“ I’m sorry I am just the emergency line I know nothing about any of that“.Are you people serious right now?Hoping this isn’t how you conduct business across the board because damn...Straight garbage.
The staff make you feel like your getting an awesome deal but then they forget to write down details of the deal. I wanted downstairs apartment was told they didnt have any i wanted two bedroom also told they didnt have any that t could pick my apartment in june when new complex opens i dodnt want to move bit i do want a rwo bedroom then i found out that other people moved in after me got two bedrooms and ground floor. My rent amounts changed and i didnt get credit for the 1000 they told me i would im very upset i cant pay 975.00 for one bedroom. They are very dishonest also 25% was taken off they said for construction they never finished the parking or fixed the doors until middle of februaryThey dont want to honor the deal. I call and they never return the calls i never get notices or any thing. Im thinking of filing complaint with alaska housing anyone else
Really awesome place to work for. With as many tenants as they have you can expect some disgruntled folks i guess. Apartments are clean, spacious and well taken care of in my opinion.
I have had similar experiences to the previous commenter. I live in one of the buildings and have been injured three times. My last fall I broke my hip and believe that if the apartment had been carpeted, I would not have hurt myself quite as badly. I dont like the Management for the most part. They are generally unfriendly and not helpful at all. When they have the opportunity to correct something they do not, then put you through hell and make you feel like a low-life when they could have corrected the situation with a brief reminder or explanation. I am not happy with them and will try and seek better accommodations. I may have no choice due to my recent injury.
Staff are occasionally friendly and helpful especially on a first visit seeking housing, but also are often rude and disrespectful toward residents. Managers have gotten better and are not evicting people they just dont like anymore but the attitude of superiority over their residents still exists. If you walk into their office on any given day, you can hear staff derisively mocking, ridiculing, or generally degrading residents. Confidentiality does not exist here and respect is hard to find.
Really awesome people run this place. Thanks for all your help.
My grandmother experience has been very much the same as the other folks here . They have been rude, zero communication, they spoke down to both her and myself as if we were dirt . I think that everyone needs to get together and get this management out of there . People cant go on being treated this way ....as my grandmother said she has a voice thank God but think of those that dont . I would hate to think of what they must go through !
Valley Residential Services will go as far as lying in court, Ive got the proof and working on getting an attorney beings my case manager at Daybreak sat there and let it happen. The shadiest rental agency in Alaska no doubt. Theyll lie on their eviction attempts by signing that they tried to give you the notice but in reality all they do Is slip up super quietly and tag your door . States at the bottom, where they sign it, that they tried giving it to you and is why they just taped it to your door.Ive also been made to live in an apartment that the carpet was supposed to be replaced and walls painted before I moved in and yet Ive been here 13 years and Im still having to live in a place that has the same carpet that was here with a person that died in it.They also wont out in a real parking space and make the disabled to wade thru the muddy muck of a parking lot. They also will refuse to do pest control claiming its your responsibility yet in the landlord Tennant act it states they are to do it.My last but most major complaint is I went thru 2 surgeries that literally put me in bed rest and I couldnt take care of my place (no family or friends to help) yet during the 2 years it was going on they gave me 20 (yes I said twenty & got every one for proof) eviction attempts in a 24 month time frame. Their last one cost me my pet companion just to stop them from succeeding. Now who thinks any of thats right coming from a company thats supposed to be there for the disabled ? They dont care .Theyll even not adhere to the 10 day notice to fix issue or move paper . They have given me 7-8 days ( not the legal 10 days) to do it and before even the 7-8 days are even up theyve already put in that theyre evicting me and Ive not been given the time to fix the problem. Now how legal is this ???This is so messed up that Ive now put in for consultation with an attorney for the disabled even if it cost me my housing ! Ill not sit here a keep on being done the way they have done me for going on 13 yrs now.
