I wish I could give Metro Teleproductions more than 5 stars! I volunteer with a local nonprofit and we host an annual scholarship awards ceremony where we recognize D.C. HS Seniors for making an impact in their community. Last year, we had to cancel completely, but this year, we wanted to be able to celebrate in safe, limited ways. We went with a hybrid event structure where we had a limited in-person audience outdoors and a virtual experience where our attendees could sign in and watch online.GREAT VALUE - Were a nonprofit and I reached out to every company in the DMV who advertised live-streaming services. They were EXPENSIVE. Almost all of them wanted to charge 2-3 times what Dave and his team charged us. And Metro Teleproductions offered twice as much! They hooked us up with lighting, speakers, (and a bunch of other fancy stuff!), and everything we needed to host the event successfully.QUALITY - I was getting texts throughout the entire stream telling me how professional and awesome it was to watch safely from home. Their team the time to go over every detail, no matter how small, and it showed! From experienced camera moves to the rollbars with each speakers name and title. It was AMAZING.PROFESSIONAL and RESPONSIVE - This was the first time weve ever attempted an event like this or live-streamed anything. At first, we even thought wed just use an iPhone and stream over Facebook live. Looking back, that would have been ludicrous! Dave has assembled a team that runs like a well-oiled machine. All of his teammates knew what they were doing and had a special expertise. Dave was response to all of my emails and I dont believe I ever received a response that took him longer than 24 hours. Dave came in with short notice and little information to film an on-site video for my client, and did an excellent job in turning it around quickly so we could show the video the following day to our meeting attendees. We recently ran a large (650 people) international science conference in Washington, DC. We selected MTI as our A/V service provider based on a combination of competitive price and good reports from previous clients. From the initial stages, Dave and his team worked hard with us to understand our objectives (and limitations). They became key team members and were always thinking one or two days ahead, offering suggestions and alternatives to get us the biggest and highest quality bang for our limited bucks. We have done events like this in many other places in the world, with a wide variety of approaches to A/V service delivery. If we are doing future events in this area we will go straight to MTI for both advice and service.
