Amazing tour for anyone who wants a personal and fun look at the monuments of DC. Our driver Steve was professional all around and got us across the city safely, and our guide, Kory, was really fun and obviously passionate about the area’s history. I was not looking for a deeply sanitized tour with guides who sound like they’re reading off of plaques at the monuments, and fortunately that’s not what I got. I recommend this bus tour for those who like to ask deeper questions about the Capitol’s history and get immediate answers, those who want something beyond the typical tourist experience, and those who want to be truly guided through DC and its intricacies rather than simply taken to photo-ops. Excellent experience all around!

Family did a private tour of many of the must-see memorials and monuments. Definitely a luxury to have a private tour, but extremely convenient and helpful with one child in a wheelchair. Daniel was our driver/guide and he was funny, informative, and drove with care and assisted us with carrying the chair in and out of the car even when it wasnt asked of him. We hit all the sites in the evening as the sun was setting and the twilight made for some spectacular views. It was a great overview tour of DC and a good jumping off point to start our time in DC.

Great tour!! Great guys!! Steve was very informative full of interesting facts about our history. Edrick was on point with his knowledge of the land, he delivered us to each of our destinations quickly and safely. These two guys made the tour full of amazing sights, history and fun.

We had Anne Marie & Rich as our guides. We are a family of four (two teenagers). We all agree this tour was the highlight of our trip to DC. We were able to spend a little time at each of the monuments. Our favorite was the Roosevelt, which was a special treat. Anne Marie is incredibly knowledgeable and made this stop extra impactful. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Cannot recommend enough.

This tour was fantastic. Neither of us had been to DC before and only had a limited time in the city. The tour took us to all the major monuments and sites that we wanted to see. Dean was very knowledgeable, helpful and easy to get along with. We were driven as close as possible to the sites and Dean gave us interesting information on each one. We had plenty of time to explore at each stop and take pictures. We never would have seen all we did if we had taken the metro or circulator bus around town as others had suggested. This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip and we highly recommend it.

This tour of DC went above and beyond of what I expected! The tour itself consisted of a small group of about 10 people and took us everywhere we could have wished to see in the 4 hours of the tour. Our guide, Kory, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and gave us very interesting facts at every place we visited, not just what you can read on the plaques. Steve was an amazing driver who made us feel safe in the DC traffic. It was our first time in DC and we will definitely be recommending friends and family for their first time as well. Thank you!

My wife and I did the half day tour of the Capitol. Sights were great but.The guide, Dustin, has a lot to learn about the service industry and why Id pay for the tour. He started by lecturing us all in the bus about talking while he is talking because he loses track. This was after two Indian ladies in front of us in the bus had a very quiet conversation. The mother was asking her daughter some questions about what the guide had said. Dustin was talking quickly and accented so if English was not your first language then it was difficult. My wife is Egyptian and her English is very good but she also had trouble. I tried to explain this to Dustin but he would have nothing of it and proceeded to give me and everyone on the bus another very long lecture like we were in school. Seriously? 3 stars is generous. Dustin also made a comment to us at the bring about wearing masks inside the bus. He told us it was a requirement from the Mayor but that he did not necessarily agree. This is NOT something you say to a bus load of tourists. Lastly, there is no doubt Dustin had heaps of knowledge but as a tour guide he us very poor and in the wrong job.

I took the evening tour with two teenage granddaughters. Steve and Brenda, the driver and guide, were friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgable and all-round awesome! I booked this small group tour rather than a bus because, really, it was only a few dollars more, and it was clearly the right decision. The small group meant more personal attention and the ability to adjust the tour to the groups desires. We covered a lot of territory in a few hours, learned history, heard stories, and experienced the wonder of the capitals mall and its monuments and memorials. You will not regret taking this tour!

We went on the Twilight Monuments tour and it was great! This was our first time in DC and we decided to take this tour at the beginning of our trip and we are so glad we did. It was beautiful to see and learn about the history of the monuments. The guides were very knowledgeable and interesting. The van was comfortable and it was like having a private tour with only six people. It was beautiful to see these sites as the sun was going down and after dark all lite up. It was very dramatic and impressive.Dean and Brenda were wonderful guides. I highly recommend this tour!

Ann Marie and Rich were a great team for our 10 person, 3 generation family. Our experience was tailored to our wants and needs. Ann Marie is extremely knowledgeable about the content, as well as telling great corny jokes to keep the kids interested. I had to use a mobility scooter and they were able to accommodate it. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Corey K was our tour guide and he did an incredible job of keeping us safe, well informed, and made the experience entertaining. He possessed a wealth of knowledge that included fun facts. We took the day tour and the night tour. 10/10 would recommend! The day tour was with Dean and Lori. Both were very knowledgeable and time conscientious. They added historical backgrounds to the sights. The night tour was with Dustin and it included stops not seen in the day tour as well as some of the same stops, but seeing the landmarks at night was phenomenal. Dustin was also very knowledgeable and humorous as well. He had a wealth of deep dive info on so many of the landmarks that definitely added value to the second tour as well.Both tours were very much worth the money. Both tours were very punctual and allowed ample amount of time to walk at the predetermined sites for photo ops. Both tours were fun, informative, and clearly led by people that love what they are doing. They went out of their way to help all of us feel like an active part of the learning and exploring experience. This was enhanced by the smaller group size they work to maintain.Our tour was in the middle of May 2021 as covid restrictions were still enforced but a few places were opening as well as tourism starting to pick up, and both tours did a fabulous job of ensuring our time was filled with as many sights as possible.This was a fabulous way to spend a day in DC!

My husband and I were scheduled today on the See DC tour with Steve and Edrick. As we are from Florida and not staying in the DC area, I was concerned about a departure time for us to be on time as all around the area was congested. The guide was excellent with a great knowledge of DC and its history. If the group wanted to add a site or two he was extremely amicable to that. In fact he asked us if there were any additional sites we wanted to see. He gave us ample time to look at the sites, & as a matter of fact we went over time allotted for the tour. He was on time for the tour. He even gave me a ride back to my hotel, which was not part of the package. I went on another tour the same day with a different company but in the morning, See DC was hands down the better tour. Best tour of DC. Money well spent. You cant go wrong.

What do you do in the midst of a pandemic but want to see the sights of DC safely? You take this private tour! We were picked up at our hotel promptly. Our van clean and comfortable. The guides asked us what we wanted to see and we were on our way. Not one thing we desired was left out and we even had time to see some things we didnt expect to see. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time with Dean and Gayle as our capitans!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! My wife and I went On the NYE and wow it was great. First and foremost Steve ( our guide) kept the van nice and toasty on the cold day and whenever we went out for photos made sure the can was secured and helped everyone off the van. He provided water and umbrellas for us since it rained during our tour.We saw EVERYTHING and he took us EVERYWHERE in 3 hours! Dean was wonderful. Picked us up from the scheduled location and we ended up being the only couple that day so it felt like a private tour. Got to see all the major landmarks with ample time to take pictures. Dean knew a lot of history and shared that with us along the way. He was very courteous, respectful and accommodating. The small van was air conditioned and he provided us with cold water throughout which was very much appreciated in the hot weather. He was nice enough to drop us off at another location so we could continue our adventures for the day. If and when we return, I’ll definitely be doing another tour with him, maybe at night.

Dean has encyclopedic knowledge of DC’s monuments. He is also attentive to his guests. I had a problem with my phone, which kept me preoccupied; he went out of his way to help resolve it. I’d attend his tour again a definitely recommend the night tour. It was amazing!

It was my first time in DC and I booked this tour based on the reviews that I read about it - I’m so glad that I did! ... Since I was the only one who booked the tour for the day, Dean picked me up from my hotel (instead of having me meet him at the usual meeting place) and he served as my personal tour guide. I was really impressed with the extra effort he put into creating slides on an iPad to share supplemental information for a lot of the sites that he showed me. (For e.g., since we couldn’t go inside the Pentagon, he showed me photos of the Memorial benches for all the people whose lives were lost during 911 at the Pentagon, etc.) ... He’s professional, kind (he always offered to take my pictures for me and showed me where the best spots to take photos were), and he was definitely a wealth of knowledge! I loved that he let me take my time when I wanted to walk and explore certain spots a bit more, and he made sure to really point out the good stuff that I otherwise would have missed... Oh, and when I found out that I needed to order tickets the day before to tour the Washington Monument (new rule in place because of Covid), he gave me practical advice about registering on the website the night before so I didn’t lose out on getting a ticket that day that I purchased one (since they were so limited in the number of tickets they were giving out per day) ... I cannot say enough great things about this tour! Also loved talking to Dean about his own personal experience of DC. If you’re going to DC, this tour with Dean is SO WORTH IT!!!

We loved our tour yesterday with See DC Today. Ari was our tour guide and Dean was our driver. Both were excellent! Dean knew his way around DC and was always at the right spot at the right time to pick us up (no waiting!). Ari was super knowledgeable about DC and history and was very friendly. She knew just the right amount of facts and information for our group and the right amount of time at each stop. Also, our group varied in ages and the tour was thoroughly enjoyed by all! We felt this tour was 100% worth it. We were touring DC for the day and wanted to see all the major monuments and historical sites. We were able to do this on a four hour private tour! I rarely write reviews but this company was A+! Highly recommend.

My mother and I took a small group tour with this company and we are so glad that we did! Not only was the tour guide very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions, he was considerate of the fact that my mom couldn’t walk that much or go up stairs to see some of the things and showed us pictures of the monuments on his iPad when we reached some of the sites. Living in Maryland weve done DC so many times with friends and family, but we decided to try an evening tour which completely blew us away!!! Our tour guide tailored the trip around what sights weve never seen before, and a couple we have but never at night. Our guide was so knowledge and fun!! We spent about 4 hours in this tour and it was fantastic. It was at an easy pace, not hurried, and we were given a lot of information. We were able to visit many memorials that otherwise would have taken us a couple of days to do on our own. Highly recommend it!!

Did the night tour. Ari, our guide, was amazing! So full of knowledge, friendly, personable and great photography skills (helpful when you want both people in the picture). The sites were beautiful but as we learned from a different tour, it truly is the guide that makes the difference!!

I took the four hour day tour.I was in a group of three people touring, so when you see the words small groups, believe it. I saw more in the short time I was in DC by taking this tour than my children saw in a week, and I felt like the tour was highly personalized, mostly because our tour guide, Dean, was really nice and made sure all of us were happy with what we had seen when he picked us up and if there was anything not on his itinerary that we would like to see. He made sure to keep our time to what was advertised, and we didnt take advantage of him by asking to go somewhere he hadnt planned, but I have a very strong feeling that if we had asked to go somewhere that would have taken us over time, not only would he have taken us, but he would have known the history of the place we wanted to go. Hes that good. If you have four hours to kill in DC during the daytime, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Incredible night tour of the monuments - the amount of artistic thought that goes into the lighting of the monuments is impressive, and this tour was relaxed and the guides were excellent! Highly recommend!

I took a night tour with Gayle, Mike Cooke was the driver. It was amazing. I saw parts of DC that I never knew existed.

The tour with Steve was very enjoyable and informative. He definatly knows his history! They were even kind enough to hand out bottles of water on a hot day. The tour hit a lot of the major monuments in DC and the 4 hours flew by. Definatly recommend this company to anyone looking for a DC tour!
