The recruiter did a poor job following up. After I had an interview he followed up once then after that no check ins or updates. Would not recommend this place.

I would not recommend this agency for employment. They are very unorganized and will give you incorrect information when they find an assignment for you. For example, I was told over the phone to report to an assignment at 9:30am which I did. I was on time. When I get to the assignment, the organization they sent me to is livid and tells me Im late! They said I was supposed to be there at 9:00am! Clearly, Robert Half has a communication problem with their clients and the only person who it affected was me.I was working on an assignment for over 5 months when I got the news that my father unexpectedly passed away. This is when I was working from home due to Covid. I had to immediately leave DC to plan my fathers funeral and deal with his estate....all on my own. I offered to bring the laptop I was using to work from home back to the office, rather than sending it back (at my own expense - as they suggested). They refused my offer so I let them know I needed to leave DC to deal with my fathers death and would return the laptop when I was back in town. They then threated to file a police report on me over a laptop I offered to return right away before I had to leave town. Imagine having a family member pass away and being threatened with legal action and the police by a company youre working for. Even after they knew my circumstances, they showed zero compassion. Not to mention, they are completely unorganized. I wouldnt waste my time here.

I just got off the phone with a representative for this temp agency and was disgusted by the lack of respect given. I called with a respectful tone and was given attitude like I did this individual dirty, if you dont like the position you were hired to do then quite because your creating a negative rep for the agency.

No, I would not recommend this agency.I applied to multiple direct hire positions advertised by this agency, recieved a response from Carrie Banholzer. An interview was scheduled to include herself and her colleague Grace Nowlin, who handles temp recruitment. I never mentioned I was interested in temping. I interviewed anyway.I never heard from Carrie again nor was I ever informed about the positions I applied to (even after a followup email).I would hear from Grace every once in a while to check up, asking me to reply with a list of firms I applied-to, and, to provide a list of positions that, in her words, I think Im qualified for. Wait... what? 😐Interesting. A recruiter whos role is to connect me with suitable opportunities, contacts me to ask if Ive been actively interviewing, and if so, with whom? And also asks me to complete a Job Application Tracker. Recruiters should be reaching out with, I want to get you on interviews! Not, who have you been interviewing with? Needless to say this didnt sit well with me.If a recruiter genuinely wants to avoid submitting my resume for a position I may have already applied to, then the email or phone contact should go more like Id like to submit your resume for __________ position at ___________ company, and I want to discuss with you before proceeding. This allows a candidate the opportunity to mention an application/resume has already been submitted. The candidate should always be contacted before submitting their resume to a potential employer, anyway. After 6 months of having my time wasted, I replied that I was unavailable and I didnt provide any further details.Heres my theory:1. This agency posts bogus positions that do not exist, to generate interest from qualified candidates, so that they have talent on hand to present to potential employers at a later date. Otherwise, how else do you explain a recruiter showing excitement over your resume/experience, yet never confirming youve been submitted for consideration, or, never following-up with you about those positions youve applied to?2. This agencys slick/lazy way of finding out whos hiring is to simply ask their candidates who have they applied to/interviewed with... knowing this, a recruiter can contact those employers directly and pitch/submit the resumes of other candidates. Increasing your competition and possibly generating a commission for themselves.THESE RECRUITERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SUCCESS UNLESS THEYRE BENEFITTING FROM IT.Best of luck to all you job seekers out there.

Great office. They have the right relationship with their clients. I was privileged to have worked with them for almost 2 years. in specific the management resource group. Every single personnel were very professional. I secured a permanent position through them recently. Ive always had a great experience with them. I will recommend Robert Half any time. Thanks to the entire team.

In June, I was introduced by their SVP Perm jobs in Finance to the lady in charge of marketing roles. She was supposed to call me the following day. Three months down the line: no phone call, LinkedIn invite ignored... no news whatsoever. Not really what I was expecting from such brand.

They’ll work with you to an extent and you have to stay on top of them to get your needs met! I’m in the process of relocating and accepted a one month temp role which wasn’t desirable but needed at the moment. After careful deliberation I explained to them in a very personable manner that I’d like to withdrawal my acceptance and would like to consider roles that are longer temporary opportunities or permanent opportunities. Their reply back was rude and snippy to say the least.

As someone from the hiring end of things, I have had great luck with the creative group. Everyone they have ever sent has been qualified with the need for little or no hand holding. After a brief explanation of how we operate as a company and our file structure, all of the contractors where ready to go full speed ahead. I feel like they do a good job of screening the people they send out on jobs. As someone employing contractors from Creative Group, I have nothing but good things to say.

This temp agency communication and professionalism does not belong in the real word. Throughout my entire experience (7 months) I had spoken to about 5-7 people in different departments that were offering assignments. People would offer me long term assignments and even mentioned it being POSSIBLY PERMANENT. Most of the time I would wait for as long as a month just to receive an assignment. During my assignments they would either call or e-mail me that my assignment was ending on the day off! Who does that? They will not give you one logic explanation as to why your assignment was ending but just leave you high and dry. And this happened to me TWICE! And then they will not return any of your phone calls, voice messages and e-mails. I highly do not recommend this temp agency.

I worked on assignment via the Creative Group for about a year and a half. I was given a certain role and my pay was based on that role. As I got comfortable with my placement they began to give me more responsibility. I basically did the same work that the permanent employees did on a much much lower wage. Some of the other contractors that had the same responsibilities as me got paid more! I got paid $17/hr, while some others got $20/hr for the same responsibilities! I expressed my concern and frustration with TCG and they weren’t helpful. At one point the Vice President (Kristin) spoke very rudely to me, raised her voice at me, and insulted me.When my assignment ended (with 1 week notice), I expressed my negative experience with the survey that they provide at the end of the assignment—I made sure to honestly say that I would not be recommending the Creative Group.Fast forwarding...The corporate office called me concerning the survey I filled out and I told them in detail the issues. They said that they were going to have someone call me from upper management. Months went by and no one called. This agency is very unprofessional. The Vice President is a joke! They are very dishonest and cheat you! All of my peers know to stay away.

Stay away from this place. Theyre not helpful nor professional. I was accused of lying when it came to my transportation issues - when in fact i wasnt lying. How am I suppose to trust them when they dont trust me? When they received my references instead of asking questions about me and my employment history TCG tried to sell them their services. They were pressuring me to sign up for a temp job a day before the starting date with no information about the temp job. I asked if I was able to end a contract at anytime, but received no straight answer. Their eDoc forms force you to sign an Arbitration Agreement despite offering an Opt-Out Form. Theres no reliable customer service contact or manager to report any of these problems. Overall, terrible experience - theyre suppose to HELP you find a job, NOT accuse you of being a liar and use your references as a way to get people to sign-up for their services.

Would give 0 Stars if I could.Techs need to BOYCOTT outfits like this. Utter waste of time. Was suckered into going to this place once and the young privileged-Millennial tech recruiter did not know the difference between Java and Javascript and worse (and seemed incapable of even taking time to study even a Wikipedia page on the topic/distinction). She came from a BANKING background (this was around the time of all the mortgage fraud in that industry, nice professional pedigree there), was phony-extroverted, not that bright, and about as insincere as the worst HR people are -- and most importantly UTTERLY CLUELESS ABOUT TECH/DEV/PROGRAMMING/ETC.
