Working with First Sun Consulting, LLC was a very positive and enlightening experience. If you are in the DC metro area and are looking for outplacement service, I would highly recommend this group and in particular Lisa Colten. She a diverse range of experience. One thing this is not, is an actual job placement; but rather, an opportunity for to assess who you are and what you want from your career. Its an opportunity to focus on your strengths, restructure your resume and really identify those aspects of a job that are important to you. I started with First Sun Consulting, LLC with Lisa in early October when I was laid off my job and by late December I had found my job. You get what you put into this experience. I probably spent on average 30 hours plus a week revising my resume, making contacts, meeting with folks and applying for positions.
