I love these people! The friendliest bunch! I always recommend our owners to visit their office; its lovely and located dead center on 17th St.Aside from their friendliness and office location, the employees always do everything they say they will do promptly. I called several times to get copies of insurance/governing documents and to clarify several things on my ledger, and they sent and solved everything within five minutes. The customer service level this company has to offer is unbeatable, which is for some sad reason, is hard to find these days.

We have worked with the NWL Co for several years ago and have had nothing but positive experiences with them- especially Jack and his team! Property mgmt is not an easy business, but these guys pursue their jobs with passion and enthusiasm. We plan on staying with them for many years to come.

I believe it takes two to work, the team has been supportive and accommodative to our needs. I communicate my concerns and the company acted promptly. I think the relationship has to be in a partnership to work, and the New Washington Land Company is a great partner for our property. I appreciate their attention to detail and great executor approach. Nothing but a satisfied client here. Thank you for your brilliant service.

I have never had an issue with my condo management since my unit has been managed by the New Washington Land Company compared to what I have experienced in the past. They have responded to any issues with my unit in a fast and efficient manner and are easily accessible with quick response times. I honestly couldnt be more satisfied.

I own several condos in Washington DC and The New Washington Land Company has by far the best after hours/emergency service among the other management companies I have encountered in DC. My unit had a water leak and the on- call personnel called me back within four minutes!!!! Thats unheard of! She immediately called the unit upstairs, called the plumber, and got everything addressed within a couple of hours. I was also given an update after all said and done. Such a great service!!! I cant make this up! Other companies take up to a couple of hours to respond, which can be detrimental when we are talking about water damage.I truly appreciate the level of service this company has to offer. Other owners in the building agrees with me as well! Thank you!!!

The team at The New Washington Land Company is phenomenal. Every time I have had any issues with my unit, I shoot them a quick note and always get a same day response. Mikki, the building manager is great and very responsive! And, the young lady at the front desk in The New Washington Land Companys corporate office is very polite and attentive. Nothing but good things to say about New Washington Land!

The best property management company I have worked with. I moved to DC area from NY. I have lived in different apartments and owned a condo (which I sold before I moved). Never have I experienced such pleasant people in the property management industry. I might be somewhat new in the area (who purchased a condo on 14th St area), but, The New Washington Land Company has made my new home that much better. They are very responsive, helpful, and knowledgable.

My experience with The New Washington Land Company has been beyond exceptional! I would most definitely recommend TNWLC. I can say that Im super happy I went with them. They were very efficient at getting everything set up paperwork-wise and they had a tenant in there quickly. Annessa and her staff respond to immediate renter and owner concerns. My life has become much less stressful since I acquired their services. If you are in need of a property management company please dont hesitate to call them, it’s the best thing I ever did!!

Not sure whats with all these negative reviews, but New Washington Land has been great for me. They just took over management of our building and it has been night and day! They are so helpful, particularly with my unit account. The books were in shambles with the old management; however, NWL cleared everything by working with the Board and did their due diligence. Its really unfortunate this company is not getting the recognition it deserves. However, i think most people are aware that only unhappy/dissatisfied clients/ customers that write reviews. This is why I am writing this. This company is great and and thats that.

As I have shared this several times somewhere on the web, my experience with TNWLC has been nothing but great. Even though I sold my condo unit, I still recommend the company to my friends/colleagues.

I own a condo in the Capitol Hill area of Washington DC that is currently managed by Jack Eisen-Markowitz of The New Washington Land Company. In October of 2014 I become embroiled in a dispute over fault for a leak in the unit below mine. The leak was caused by the disconnection between 2 common area pipes located behind the walls of my unit. Our bylaws (like many others I would imagine) state that pipes carrying water & sewage behind the interior walls of a unit are common to the bldg and thus the responsibility of the association. While I could understand both parties wanting to protect their interest, this was a pretty routine, plumbing repair that took less than 15 minutes to resolve in a bldg that has only 24 units. What was alarming was the combative behavior and egregious unprofessional actions that Mr.Eisen-Markowitz engaged in. Instead of trying to come to a resolution, he threatened to sue in small claims court and place a lien on the property if I did not pay for the repairs for even though I was not at fault. He issued the threat prior to- Obtaining any consent from our condo board- Without performing any test from other units in the bldg- Prior to even sending me the bill- With complete disregard from the insurance companies that recommended he invoke the buildings master policy to resolve the issue. And to top it off, he submitted an inflated plumbing invoice (8 labor hours - $600) even though I was present for the repair (to let the person in/out) and took photographs date & time stamped that documented the actual time and work spent on the repair (15 minutes). All attempts to come a resolution fell on deaf ears, but in the end (Feb 2015) I ended up prevailing through the threat of counter suit for the damages to the drywall (that they never repaired) which coincidentally provided access to the damaged pipes. Im thankful that I won, but it was such a complete waste of time, money and energy. Im in the business to make money though my rentals, not fighting with someone trying to bully me into paying something beyond absurd. When I contacted the company to voice my complaint about Mr.Eisen-Markowitz service or lack thereof, Josh Smith (the president) responded in a true dismissive fashion. If your looking for a property manager for either your property or for your association I would not recommend his services. I can understand a having a difference of opinion but not unethical behavior. Its not conducive for owners of any property let alone yours.
