Made an appointment for an inspection and oil change. Dropped it off around 10:30am. They gave me a call to let me know I needed sway bar links in order to pass my inspection. I said that was fine. By 2pm they had all that done and my car was ready to pick up. I was shocked honestly, because it’s really rare for me to have my car back on the same day I drop it off. Even if it was simple things like inspections and oil changes. I went to go get it and they were able to apply my coupons from the mailer the company sends out. One was for an oil change and one was for services or something. Either way it saved me money! Car doesn’t make that creaking sound now, likely because of the sway bar links. And they cleaned the spots where they removed the oil sticker and inspection stickers! I can’t tell you how many years of sticky inspection goop was stuck in that corner, driving me nuts because I couldn’t get it off without messing up the sticker.Fast, thorough, fairly priced. 100% prefer them over Monroe’s, which is where I used to go.

I will start out by saying if this location says you need a repair PLEASE go somewhere else for a second opinion!!We were told we needed both front lower ball joints to pass inspection and was quoted a ridiculous amount for non factory parts. We didn’t agree, my vehicle was riding smoothly without any issues! Picked up my vehicle and made an appointment with the dealership. Explained everything and they inspected and guess what—-it PASSED inspection with no issues!! We didn’t need ball joints!! The dealership literally said they had no clue what they were doing or trying to make money!!! Just ridiculous!!!

Passing through PA from Cincinnati to NY and I had a tire that had developed a bubble. They were quick to accommodate me and got me in immediately and replaced my tire. They were friendly, quick, and affordable. Thank you to the team, you guys really helped me in a sticky situation.

This place is unbelievable. I bought four new tires here, drove less than 100 miles, the tire disintegrated and they refused to honor the warranty on the tire. You have to be crazy to give them any business. They flat out lie.

After a long rough night of being stranded on the interstate I was finally able to get a tow to get a spare, so I could replace the tire that blew the night before. After firestone lied about price, quantity and service, I was saved by Jay and the crew at Pep Boys. They not only provided affordable new tires that I needed, they did it quickly and made a comfortable experience ending a not so great start to a weekend. Would definitely recommend, and will certainly be a returning customer.

Thanks to the team at this location in assisting me with a gooseneck trailer tire that they didnt have in stock. However, they went the extra mile to assist me by calling local stores in the area to find one. I came in for a state inspection and they told me it was going to be a couple hours because they have work from the previous day they need it done however they got me inspected and out the door in a little bit less than an hour the boys there were absolutely wonderful very friendly I highly recommend this shop for any mechanical work you need done

Traveling on I70, we picked up a 4-in constructio nail in a rear tire. Called Pep Boys, they gave us instructions and 24 min after we arrived., we were fixed and ready to go. Unbelievable kindness speed and support.

Ive been here twice now for an oil change. The process is always quick and easy. The workers here are kind and have a positive attitude. They even pulled my car to the door so I didnt have to walk in the snow. I highly recommend them and will be coming here for my inspection as well. :)

Excellent Service! My car passenger side window was not rolling. Manager(Ms. Brittni) received my car in a Sunday morning and Mr. Nate started fixing my window right away. The car window was fixed less than an hour. Wow! What a good service!I would highly recommend everyone to use their service. They are the best and they had a very reasonable in pricing. I needed tires for my car, of course waited till last minute. I called around and have to say was surprised at the great deal I got.They got me in that day had my tires in stock, which few the places I called had to order.They got me in and out in reasonable amount of time. Has nice waiting area which surprised me for a tire place.Would recommend!!!

A while back I had my oil changed there. Not long after, the oil filter came loose and a lot of oil drained out. Luckily there wasnt any damage to my engine due to me realizing what happened.I have also tried to make an appointment on two separate occasions for an inspection (did this online). When making an appointment on their site you select an available appointment time and you check if you will be staying on site or dropping your vehicle off to pick up later. On both occasions, I marked that I will be staying while my vehicle was being inspected since I didnt have someone to follow me in and drop me back off. They called to tell me both times that they wouldnt be able to get it in during the appointment time. They did say it would get done but no guarantee on the time.Why have appointment times and an option to choose if you will be dropping your vehicle off or staying if you cant honor them?TL;DR - Dont go here.Edit/Update: The response to the negative reviews are completely automated. As soon as I submitted my review their generic response was immediate.

Took their time, did it right. Didnt try to sell me an alignment that it turned out I didnt need. Personable, down to earth. Ill be back.

My jaguar broke down today and I recently had these guys mount a tire for me. I asked them if they could give it a look and they told me yes even though they were busy so I told them dont worry get back to me in a couple days & dropped it off to them as It isnt drivable atm.. hopefully it can be fixed 🤞

Came in almost literally on my rim with a bad tire. Lots of places could have looked at that and suggested a million things be wrong. These guys checked out my rim said it was fine and my final price was the same I was quoted over the phone. Thank you for being professionals.

We needed something done quickly and they were very prompt about it. Overall they did a great job and were very nice.

I went in last week to have tires changed and an alignment done. Took a little longer than I would of liked but we were told it would be a few hours before arriving so I expected it. Bathroom was nice and clean. Waiting area was nice. I made sure to bring my kids tablets to keep them entertained. I loved that they had a lot of outlets, pop machine and tv. Plus we paid less than we were quoted on phone so that was a plus.

My battery died the staff was very nice had my car taken care of quickly and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely go there again

Coming back from a road trip my car broke down 6 hours from home and I ended up here. Dave at the desk was the first person I talked to and right away he took care of me better than I could’ve hoped for. He called around to all the shops in the area checking for the right parts and seeing who could help me right away, being as they were booked up for the day. Dave was very honest and up front with me about what needed to be done as well as time needed for the repair. If I lived in the area I would use this place exclusively if I needed anything. Highly recommend.

I had a flat tire on Friday night while traveling-I was 4 hours away from home and 3 hours away from my final destination. I stayed at a hotel across the street from Pep Boys, and then Saturday morning, David and Adam were extra kind to a distraught customer and fixed the tire quickly so I could be on my way. I was able to say goodbye to a loved one before she passed thanks to these two gentlemen for helping me!

I made an appointment for an oil change and routine service for 1pm. At 2 pm I was still waiting for my car to be started. I was told people came in before me and they were busy. When I asked why they take appointments, I was told they can’t help it if they are busy. I left. Thank you for wasting my afternoon. Don’t take appointments if you have no intention of keeping a person open to service the appointments.

We just moved here from TN and I needed a state inspection. I have a Mini Cooper. This car is a money pit. However Dave was AMAZING! I needed a part for my exhaust bc apparently mine had a hole in it?! Anyways the part was extremely expensive and they went above and beyond to find a welder to repair this me for me. This cut down on cost so so much! I’ve had my car for almost 10 years and this is truly the best costumer service experience I have ever had.

Stopped in to have tires balanced, staff was very friendly and did a great job. Also service was quick. If Im in the area and need anything done will definitely stop by again.

Used to love them. Have spent seriously thousands there on tires, brakes, general repair, etc. Then we took our car in for inspection and they said it needed new shocks or wouldnt pass. Said we wousl take it somewhere else, took it to their competitor eifhr up the street and amazingly it passed just fine. Lost a loyal customer.

Had a blown tire on 79 about 30 miles south of Washington. Limped in to see this station close to 7:00. I asked if they could help a brother out even though they were closing. Kudos to Larry and Bob. Very nice guys and got me back on the road. Its the people who make the difference. Thanks to those two Pep Boys.

I had a blow out on 79 just driving through on a trip and a lot of new cars does not come with a spare tire.so had to get towed there I have a odd size tire so most places does not have my tires in stock. They not only had my tire in stock, They got me right in and charged me $50.00 cheaper than they Quoted me on the phone, GOOD JOB PEP BOYS

I had been a regular customer here as the gentlemen in front of house are very nice and accommodating. However this last time they charged me a total of almost $400 on front brakes and rotors, when other places I investigated charged me half that. Additionally they told me the car needed repairs that two other mechanics said I did not need. Either they were wrong or Pep Boys were trying to run up my bill. I will take my business elsewhere.

I like the fact that I can drop off my vehicle and they work on it while Im at work and I pick it up when I get off. I like the fact they are very through in doing required work. They found the problem that kept my check engine light on when I had had it checked five times, one was by the dealership mechanic, and I was told just drive it like that. Although the repairs were high for me, it was a relief to have it fixed. Ive learned to ask for cost, and only once was I shocked when the work was done and the cost was higher. They did reconsider, so I paid a middle amount. Considering all that was done, Im very pleased!!!

This place makes you feel the way you should when you take your vehicle down. That old town home feeling, cause theyre friendly and can actually explain things that others shops really dont.

Took a 2001 dodge neon down for an oil change. once they got the car on the lift they told me a strut needed replaced and they wouldnt let me leave unless i got it fixed. Told us they would take a coupon to take a little off the total, but when the time came to pay the manager slinked off into a back office and sent the guy at the desk a text that simply said dont take the coupon. Ended up paying 400$ out of pocket, on the spot, for what was supposed to be a 30$ oil change.

Bought a full set of tires there. 1 month later they wouldnt hold air. Took the vehicle in and they said they checked the tires and found nothing wrong but the patched one of them anyway. 2 months later.. Same problem. Same tire. Was told we cant fit you in for another 7 days... well here we are again. This time I am on a job site and I walk out to find a flat tire and the others are low. Well ive put air in them all and at 7 am I am going back again. This has got to stop. I spent 700.00 on tires that will NOT hold air. Fix it right and this review will improve.

Went in for an inspection on 12/9/15, and they found problems that I didnt know I had. They worked with me to get everything fixed and legal with two appointments,since I was low on funds! The service manager John was amazing, he turned an unexpected problem into a manageable issue. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and helped me greatly!!

Went in for an inspection, they tried to charge me $1,300 for 2 front rotors, front brakes, front calipers, and an upper arm control.Went to 2 other shops that said the upper arm control and the calipers were fine. Changed the rotors and brakes myself. Passed inspection somewhere else.Obviously these guys are in the business of lying to get more money out of you. Be very cautious.

Went in for synthetic oil change for my truck... After it was done, I was told the price I was quoted includes a mail in rebate. Deceptive at best, probably illegal. This then cost about $40 more than a normal synthetic oil change. Pep Boys, never again for anything. A mail in rebate should be mentioned up front... But its worse when it simply brings it down to what most places charge full retail to begin with.

I live in Ohio..on my way to pitt I stopped by becuz of a flat on 71 & they took care of my tire and even fixed my rim, they were awesomeI will drive from Ohio to Pittsburgh just to take my car there. Love the guys here.

Went in for an inspection and was told i needed this and because of it that would also be needed. Since im above a 3rd grade education i went home and made such repairs. Made it back with 20 min till close and the guy refused to look at my car again. Said he was only there for 20 more min and not doing anything. I wouldnt reccommend this place. From front desk to mechanic.

They charged me $100+ today to mount 4 tires that I already owned. That seems about twice the going rate .... in the past they have advertised that they would do it for free.I dont need free, but I dont appreciate gotcha either.Watch you wallet with these guys.

I wouldnt give this place 1 star! I took my company vehicle there in october for a oil change and 7 days and $3,000 later i had a new power steering pump, brake booster. The next day while driving on an interstate i lost power steering and brakes. Remember i took it there for a oil change. Took it back and they said we must not have flushed the system good enough, and now there are metal shavings all through the system and you need a new steering rack. While it was there they said i needed a new battery too because they had to jump it everytime thwy moved it. Well after another week i pick it up and a week later it wont start. Went to jump the battery and it was the original battery. Called and talked to Jerry and Mel. They pull up the invoice and say the did replace it with a bosch battery and i asked is that the only brand you use and he said yes. I asked why am i looking at an AC Delco battery. They never replaced it and they started this whole problem with the steering and brakes. Remember it was for an oil change!!!! So after 5 power steering pumps and more time at pep boys than on the road. I again lost steering amd brakes. Took it back last thursday and said it is still messed up and i need a headlight and stated the brand and part number, another oil change. A week later its fixed. No record of a headlight or oil change on the invoice, Brittany said it was done at no charge, amd i didnt need a headlightmit was a wiring issue. After inspecting what they said was done. There is a new headlight and its the cheapest one available, which i have the brightest sylvania sraled beams abailable. And the service the TPMS system light is still on. So i call and Mel says nothing we can do when your driving it, drop it off. Whay for another week? This place is a complete joke and must not have skilled mechanics. DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP!!!!! YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF

Had a pre inspection done after I bought the car. Tire was in the wrong spot and was gonna have them rotate then they noticed it a spline line lug nut they didnt have. So I got the lug nut and went to rotate myself and noticed the stud was broke and I could tell it was fresh. So I got the stud and asked if they could install it but take off the $25 I paid for the pre inspection since they missed the broken stud and didnt tell me. But they wouldnt work with me at all.

Went in for oil change let me tell you These guys are total scum here in Washington they are nothing but con artists and lie about stuff needing replaced or fixed. Took my brandnew 2016 subaru in to them for oil change car had 4,000 miles on it. They told me front brakes needed replaced / rotars. Cabin air filter needed replaced. Air filter. Battery came up weak on there battery tester. Told me i should get new battery because its going to die on me. Exhaust had a leak so wanted to take mid pipe off and put a new gasket in becuase they could tell the gasket was bad. All this on a car with 4,000 miles on it. And to top it off they could do my oil but didnt have my oil filter for my car. But wasnt important to put new oil filter in. Told them bring my car off the lift rite now drove up the road to dealership Budd bear. Had them look over whole car. Nothing they said that needed supposedly replaced needed. Dealer said everything looked perfect changed my oil and filter and rotated my tires. And i was on my way aviod this place by all means. BUDD BEAR TOKD ME IM NOT THE FIRST PERSON TO SAY ALL THIS. I may contact BBB and my lawyer
