Behind the scenes tour of the voice of America. Another delightful secret at the capital. Lots of good people to meet who are multi-lingual and hard-working to share the essence of America with words, action, and conviction. While English is the common language, other languages carry on to connect American ideals and values that are universal. Good job! #auric
I retired from there 15 years ago. I went back for the 99th birthday party for jazz broadcaster, Willis Conover. I worked with him for 2 years. He passed in 1996, at 76 years old.
Vast building. But everything look quite old antique, maybe that’s what they want it to be like or something or maybe because it’s a federal building no one cares. I have seen older and older buildings in Europe as well and there is a different kind of look and feel there.
These scooters are extremely convenient and affordable.
Awesome building. I love the history associated with this place.

#LetsGuide I took the guided tour that they offer for free every weekday at 12.00. Quite interesting even if in reality there is almost nothing to see but the description and presentation of the guide are detailed. Some recording studios can be seen but not photographed. It is not a tourist attraction and therefore it is difficult to find a queue but it is always better to arrive early as there are only 20 seats available per day and obviously first come first serve
An organization where incredible people work. My sincere thanks to the Ukrainian team for a wonderful tour of the Ukrainian Voice of America studio. There is an unrealistic amount of space and a lot of people working for different countries to make the Voice of America heard around the world. And the most beautiful feature here is the roof of the house overlooking the Capitol.
A museum that personally has not thrilled so much but also this tells the story of Native Americans.A bit oversized for what it has to show, but you know, America does everything big
Actually, the Voice of the USA. Excellent programming with a high degree of truthfulness and objectivity.
Thank you please
