I have now had three fabulous experiences here with two different nail techs so I feel confident recommending Urban Nail Lounge! Sonia is my angel, but truly every staff member is warm, helpful, and meticulous. They dont rush the service and take time to understand what you want.

Each time Ive been to Urban Nail Lounge, its been a great experience. The prices are a bit high but the experience makes up for some if that. My pedicure and manicure turned out great. The color options are very nice and the quality of the polish is spot on! Youre offered white or red wine while you are pampered and I feel comfy rating this establishment 5 out of 5.

Great place to get your nails done. You should definitely make an appointment though. Walk ins are welcome but they are always booked.

I’ve been to Urban Nail Lounge 4 times now. Quality mani/pedis and I’ve had 3 techs and they are consistently great! Eyebrow waxing is a bit more expensive than most DC locations but done well so worth it. Online scheduling is a great option, would definitely recommend making an appointment because they do book up!

The place is pretty new however the guy that did my nails was ruff n not focused on what he was doing. I mentioned to him on more than one occasion to be more sensitive however he didnt listen. I might go back and have one of the girls do my nails..... If it doesnt work than I am still in the search of a good Mani & Pedi place in DC

I came in for a gel full set; long sharp stilletto shaped and was not disappointed. Andy did a great job. He took his time and my nails came out great. I highly recommend visiting urban nail lounge. I love my nails and will definitely be back.

TLDR: Overpriced for what you get.The place was mostly clean. Decor was lacking and unfinished. They offered nothing to drink - not even water. I ordered two hot stone pedicures for myself and my partner. We both added on gel. The hot stone massage was just OK - not a whole lot of time spent so that was a bummer (especially for the price). Our paint jobs were good. They us $10 to remove the very faded/worn-off paint that was on our toes when we came in. Ive never been charged for paint removal in my life. I paid $180 and left a $20 tip. I have absolutely no problem paying top dollar for exemplary service; this place left me feeling a bit sick for paying $200 for mediocre service and not even a mimosa or glass of wine to ease my mind (and wallet). I will not be returning.

The people here are so nice one time a lady lookme in for walk in and she did amazing I def recommend going here and it was so relaxing when she did my pedicure

The lady yuna did my nails so nice. i bite my nails often when i am anxious which makes them very short and she made it work. i give it a 10/10 i have to come back! i hope my mom left a good tip i. had such a good experience. the music plalist is so good, the inside is so clean. she made me feel comfortable! thanks so much urban nail lounge ❤️

They provide quick and affordable service! The Urban Classic Manicure and Reflexology massage were a great way to unwind after a long day on H St. I would definitely comeback!

This had been my go-to for a quick gel manicure. Located on H Street in Northeast, I can usually find parking right out front. Their website is easy to use for scheduling your appointment. The shop is very clean and they have been utilizing additional sanitary procedures for COVID-19. My gel manicures always last at least 2 weeks.

Brand new on H -- please patronize this business so we can keep them here! Its great to have a new, clean nail spa in the neighborhood. Great selection of polishes, gels and acrylics, too. Maintains COVID protocols and I feel very safe in there.

Very inconsistent with “taking temps”. I know that they took mine. I wonder why. Oh well, I’m fullyVaccinated and always safe.And always running late with appointments.Got to do better and make sure you get the temps of the white clientele as well!!!

I called around 11 a.m. and I spoke with a kind woman named Lynn. She advised me to book an appointment online. I booked for 2:30 p.m. and I arrived at 2:13 p.m. The gentleman there told me to pick a color and wait 10 minutes. No problem...except, I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Eventually, I left–right after he told me (not asked me) to come back at 3 p.m. What’s the point of telling clients to make an appointment if the establishment does not adhere to those appointments? If they had given me an update to apologize for running behind, it would’ve been more professional. Not a good way to start a business.

I visited on a Thursday evening. I was not greeted when I arrived. The person at the front desk was not warm or welcoming. I did not get the name of my manicurist, but she had red tinted hair. She did not speak to me throughout the service. I shared with her that I previously had gel that I soaked off myself and there was still gel base coat on my nails. She did not attempt to remove it for me. After I paid with my credit card, she sat my card on the table; not placing in my hand. At the end of my service, I was not thanked. Safe to say, I will not be supporting this business again.

Initially the woman who did my nails did a horrible job. I was told to come back on Monday to get them fixed for free. Luckily, Hannah was responsive and fixed my nails and they looked great, free of charge. Please be mindful of which technician you work with.

Made an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Staff was very nice and punctual. They did a great job and I will definitely be back!

I like this place because you need an appointment. The nail techs are always on point. Never people waiting around for their appointment. They take you right away.

Service was kind and attentive. I like the end result of my mani and pedi. One gripe that i couldn’t get past was a smell of cigarettes from the gentleman that worked with me. Otherwise place is lovely! Spacious and clean!

Finally a super clean, friendly, and accessible nail salon on H! The online booking feature makes this place stand out (other places on H often overbook, waste your time, or never answer their phones). Ive been here twice to get a mani/pedi and have not been disappointed. High quality service from Andy and great value for the mani/pedi promotion running right now!

Great service and the promo was a bonus! My boyfriend took me to get a pedi and it turned into us both getting mani/pedi. The stations were clean, there were available technicians, and COVID precautions were present (see images). They seem to get REALLY busy after lunchtime, but we got there before!
