I attended one of the letterpress classes Old City Press offers, and I loved it. It was the perfect amount of background on the history of letterpress, with the focus on actually making some letterpress creations. The guys are really friendly and I had an awesome time creating, with the bonus of just hanging out with some cool guys. Id definitely recommend the class! Id also recommend just checking out what Old City Press offers as far as product goes, they had a ton of stuff around the shop that looked amazing. 5 stars! :)

We have been extremely pleased with Old City Interactive and WebpageFX. We are currently in the final stages of the redesign and the entire process has been smooth, and engaging. They are very honest about why they do things and the purpose behind designing a layout. We can cell they really care, and are really interested in producing results for our team, not just creating a beautiful site. We wanted to include many additional features into the design and they have been both capable and accommodating. We are super exciting to start our ongoing marketing with their team!

We had so much fun at Old City Press. Not only was Pete enthusiastic, but he was genuinely interested in helping us learn and have a good time. This was the perfect Saturday activity for anyone and is held in a beautiful space. My husband and I felt like we were welcomed as old friends here and will continue to frequent this charming shop!

At first was unsure about the Old City team; their pricing was 30% less expensive than other local competitors. They are a web and marketing company located in the heart of Washington, DC however are an extension of a much larger and results driven agency Pennsylvania (1 hour or so drive from DC) named WebpageFX which was named Pennsylvanias best place to work for the third year in a row. Great people, great process, and amazing results.

A friend put us on to OLD CITY PRESS & Co. in Alexandria. We popped into the store to check it out and we got to meet Pete & Amanda, the husband and wife team behind this awesome shop. We hadnt even thought of it before but we were immediately intrigued about using letterpress to create invitations for our upcoming wedding. Pete answered all our questions about the process. He has a very in depth knowledge of the presses, the pluses and negatives of each, along with a bit of history each one has as well.We have a bit of design background and we decided to design our own invitations. OCP does have in house design, and they have some great examples to get your creative juices going. Combine that with a healthy dose of the internet and we had some rough ideas for our invitations. Pete gave us some great feedback and help along the way about laying things out to maximize the letterpress effects as well as making the actual production efficient. After a few edits and our own design revisions, we were ready to go. We headed to Old City Press on a Saturday to get our hands dirty. Pete, Amanda, and couple of their talented assistants showed us the ropes and explained the whole process as we printed our invitations. They will print everything for you if you want but we wanted to see the process through from start to end. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with final result. It’s so much more fun when you can put your own personality into the design and production of such an important day in your life. The comments on how your invitations are ‘just you’ don’t hurt either.There’s nothing better than a shop that’s dedicated to perfecting its craft!

Our non profit was looking for web design vendors to help redesign our teams website. We reached out to Old City Interactive with our RFP. We initially only wanted a website redesign, and didnt think anything about online marketing. However, they took our limited budget in mind and created a website redesign and online marketing proposal which was less then some of the redesign only proposals we received. During their strategy pitch Tyler and Dan did a great job of explaining why a redesign was only half of the equation, and after our meeting we realized we needed online marketing. (It’s like having a fancy car, but no gas!). The redesign came out amazing! And their targeted social marketing and retargeting is helping our team reach new members every week. I would also like to note an entire year of online marketing with their team was the same cost as one radio ad campaign on NPR, however at least now we can see the results. No more guessing with MarketingCloudFX! Thank you, Tyler, Dan, and Heather!

We look at Old City Interactive and WPFX as a partner, not a vendor. Their knowledge, and passion for online marketing is contagious! My old marketing company did some pretty shady marketing tactics, and at one point we considered changing our website and company name since Google penalized our site. What a stressful time! However, our internet marketer (Walter) was able to reverse the penalty through hard work, and persistence. We are ranking again for the same terms as we were prior to the penalty! Yeah! I found OCP on Etsy while looking for letterpress invitations for my brothers rehearsal dinner. I gave Pete a rough draft of what I wanted, and he was able to recreate my exact vision in record time and in amazing quality: 2 color, stunning letterpress invitations.Pete was so patient with every change, every question and my ridiculous deadlines (sorry about that!). He is such a professional and really knows his biz. I couldnt wait to work with him again, so Ive just placed another order for 2nd reception invitations. This company (Pete!) is a gem.
