I love the staff here the manager Justin is great very friendly makes members comfortable. It is always clean. You can see staff cleaning up even while you workout.. they have everything you need for a great workout, different areas to workout.. I see ppl leave reviews about the equipment but honestly they have everything you need, nothing fancy but working out isn’t about being fancy! + sauna, towel services, personal trainers etc

From the moment I walked in I was treated very kindly the employees here are very professional and make members feel right at home. I’d rather pay an initiation fee here at LA Fitness, than pay over $100 for another gym within the area.

Just signed up with Justin at this gym today. He was great. I explained what I was looking for in a membership, and Justin gave me the perfect plan for my needs. If youre looking for a basic gym (plus access to gyms around the country) at a good price, this is your place.

If you have not been to this club recently…. It has a much better vibe. It seems like management has been working to improve the overall appearance and it shows. Nice & Clean, and the staff is attentive (although, still a work in progress).

I was sent to Washington D.C. for two months for work. When looking for a gym I called LA Fitness and had the pleasure of speaking with Mike, their sales associate. Mike was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, he patiently answered all my questions and thoroughly explained everything I asked. The following day when I got to the gym I sat down with Mike. He was even more friendly in person and extremely pleasant to talk with. He re-explained everything we discussed on the phone the day prior, went over my contract with me, and then took me for a tour of the facility. Mike was patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and very friendly. He made my first encounter with LA Fitness an extremely positive one!

So we planned our workout after running from hotel anticipating that this place opens at 6am as advertised. 15 minutes late he casually shows up (no apologies to crowd waiting outside, or apparently any Fs given). After unsuccessfully trying to open the door, he blamed it all on technical diffulties. 45 minutes later, its still closed. You people are only open until 8 pm, cant you take just your job seriously? Talk about low expectations.

Great location, great staff and Justin the GM is the best!!! The facility is always clean, not too busy, and the price compared to other gyms in DC is way cheaper!.

I have been a member with LA Fitness for quite some time. This location has always had issues throughout the years, whether it be with them opening the gym late, constantly having faulty equipment, unpleasant staff, or just overall not being clean.I use to go to the gym in the mornings when it opened at 5 AM. It helped me a great deal because of my schedule for work. Because of COVID, the gym adjusted its hours, no longer opening up at 5, but 6 am. I was understanding and was told the gym would return to normal hours once DC made it permittable for businesses to re-open pre-COVID. I followed up with the GM regularly and still the gym opens at 6 am. The GM and staff made excuse after excuse as to why they are not back to opening at 5am. But the real reason is because they cant find a reliable/ willing front desk person to make it to the gym at 4:30 am to open up at 5. As I mentioned earlier, the gym has had a well documented history of not being able to open at 5. The aftermath of COVID is just an excuse they use to benefit them.LA Fitness needs better more truthful and caring leadership.Outside of this, there is nothing too standout about this location. It is small and has SLIGHTLY better machines than other LA Fitness locations in the area.

Good gym, not really crowded, has the essential Equipment and weights

Very friendly staff; demonstrably clean; good friendly vibe and kindness among clients ... all keep me coming back (and I belong to 2 gyms!..the other is a boutique gym). This location is really nice. Yes, it could be more modern, but a dumbbell is a dumbbell -- it has not evolved much! Finally, bravo to the gym management for keeping the place going and thriving during 2020. Im so grateful.

The facility was fine: well-equipped, well-maintained and fastidious about cleanliness protocols.

Justin, the general manager, is very difficult to speak with and makes simple questions extremely confusing and unnecessarily drawn out. Consider providing feedback to him or replacing.

I joined #LAFitness in DC location in December 2020, and was told it was a nationwide membership. I specifically wanted a nationwide membership due to occasional travel, and the fact there is one location close to my work in Arlington. I subsequently went to the location in Arlington a few times, and on the third time I was charged $5. They informed me I did not have a nationwide membership, only a multi-club single state membership. (DC only has one club by the way). I tried to resolve the situation, speaking in person, on the phone, and via email with multiple people. I also confirmed in person with a sales rep I did have nationwide access. I went back to the club in Arlington and had the same problem, being told I did not have nationwide access. Bottom line, there seems to be a lack of competence, and an inability to rectify errors and representations made by the staff.

Always clean and not very crowded

One of the worst LA Fitness locations I have been to as a long time LA Fitness member. I have been coming here since August and the steam room has not worked. There was a fire here recently in the laundry room, so there is a bad odor in the gym. (By the way towel service is not guaranteed everyday so bring your towel just in case.)The cleanliness of the locker rooms however, has gotten a little better after a few members complained.

Very, very dirty. Been coming the past month of frequent trips to DC. Air conditioning has never been on once in my several visits. Smallest LA fitness I’ve ever been to. Hardly any equipment. Missing many vital pieces of equipment.

We were charged 103$ annual fee with informing us in the beginning that there will be an annual fee charge. We joined as 2 people paid initiation fee 180$ and now paying month to month. And they nowhere mentioned regarding annual fee.This is a break of trust!

There is no water available at this unit at all! What a shame

This machine has been out of service for way over a month now... the ceiling leaks water and there is no connection on mobile phones because the gym is in a basement so you can’t text while you are working out 🤦🏽‍♂️

Went to this location because I literally work right next door. When I walked in I was hoping to at least getting a greeting. The girl at the front desk literally stared at me for like a whole minute. Then I told them that it was my first time here and she still wouldn’t help. She told me that I can scan in with my app, mind you I didn’t even have a little card to get in. I was then Trained with John who was nice but was kind of pushy about training me, which I didn’t even want at all. Then as I’m training I realized that the gym’s ac is not working at all and there is no water. I never got out of a place so fast in my life. Had I know that there wasn’t any water in a gym I would of never signed up for that mess. The place is a straight dump.

I was very disappointed today when I entered the gym to see near the front desk three employees, each wearing a facemask with his nose exposed. This reflects very poorly on LA Fitness, especially with a sign posted outside the door that customers must wear facemasks by order of Mayor Bowser.

Central location..... Easy Metro access.... Basic but affordable membership. 😁

I only went to this LA Fitness Gym out of convenience since it was nearby my job.The bathroom stalls (for the women locker-room) were unsanitary most of the time I went. (I went there pretty often at the time that I went).When I was there, John the manager of this LA fitness had convinced me that it would be great option to do personal training.Due to Covid-19, I had to move away elsewhere and could not use the personal training that was taken out of my account.When I was finally able to get in contact with John (around the time phase 2 of DC opened), he informed that he was not able to cancel the personal membership, even though he lied via conversation, that if I needed to cancel the membership, I could go through him.He not only disregarded my concern, and disregarded the fact that I had moved to a different area, he just gave me the LA Fitness headquarters number and his VP number, and said that you will have to fix it.Now I understand his personal trainers need to get paid just like we all do, but if I am not at that particular location, nor am I with LA Fitness anymore then there should be no reason why money is being taken out of my account unlawfully.Dont be allow John to persuade you into desperation. Dont get me wrong, I believe that his trainers should be paid. With the short amount of time I was there, I learned a lot, and what my body could withstand, but the customer service and facility is lacking. Every time I went there the water machine was broken, never fixed. And so forth.The only reason why I would go back would be for their Zumba class and their spin class the two black ladies there are lovely.

Located at the Farragut North Metro station in Washington, DC, the gym offers the best universal gym experience in the area. I mainly use the facility during the work day and its truly an enjoyable experience. Monday and Wednesday afternoon offers one of the best CrossFit-like classes that provides an intense and enjoyable full body workout.On Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays the gyms amenities of free weights, resistance training, and treadmill/elliptical options provide the perfect, crowd-free options to get in shape during the downtown work day.With a spacious locker room that offers towel service, sauna/steam room, the downtown DC LA Fitness provides the ideal work out experience during the busy DC business day.

Not clean. Thats the big reason. But its also congested, with no room to deadlift. Limited number of benches. All the bars and clips are beat to hell. The place is not well-cared for and doesnt use its limited space effectively.

Chose this location of La Fitness, because it was close to my job/where I live. Mainly wanted the membership, so I could experience the personal training program. When I initially signed up for the PT program, they sent me all the way out to Wheaton Mall to get me signed up and I have no car. One of the front desk attendants at DC lied and said they had no trainers available. However, when the PT Stephen in Wheaton signed me up, he was able to easily set it up on the La Fitness app where I could request Devin (one of the DC PT) for sessions, since DC is closer to where I work and live. My sessions with Devin we’re amazing. She’s super professional. I definitely learned a lot in regards to what my body can handle and simple exercises I can do at home and by myself, which came in handy for COVID-19. With losing my job due to the pandemic and DC opening back up, I could no longer afford a membership PERIOD. Tried calling DC several times to cancel the PT & normal membership fees and was told a manager would call me back. Waited to hear back since June 29th and never heard from anyone. Was hung up on by the front desk attendant on July 8th when trying to follow up. Was only given the corporate number, which has people on hold for an hour or more. Extremely disappointed with the customer service. After getting the run around, my PT membership was eventually cancelled by a person on property at Wheaton Mall. I just plan to mail in the cancellation form for the initial membership to avoid going through all this again.

Small and lacking equipment but enough to get you a good workout. Its in downtown so the small size is understandable. They offer towel service which is nice.

I wasnt going to share my bad experiences at this location but trying to log on online tripped a bad memory in me that made me want to come back give my 2 cents. CONGRATS! Now for the location: Congrats! you went 5 months without changing the drinking fountain filter! Your staff chuckled when I told them it had been on red for months. Congrats on not being able to have hot water in the winter! Congrats on having no classes after work hours! Congrats on your vending machine breaking down so many times you finally just got rid of it. Your lower back balance excercise machine hasnt worked in 2 years! One time I walked to the metro to see your door wide open at midnight! I looked inside and the place was closed, just someone forgot to lock up! Congrats on running out of shampoo so you just filled the dispensers with regular soap! Congrats on putting an industrial strength fan in the locker room as a permament solution to your mold problem! Congrats on have a roof in the locker room that leaks onto your customers when theyre trying to change! Congrats on never holding onto locks that people leave behind, I think youve thrown away 6 of my locks.Thats... Thats about it

The staff is a little unprofessional. When we walked in no one was managing the front desk. I was a guest of a member. My friend tried to log us in with the self check-in but it didnt work. Also the bathroom was a mess like now one had cleaned it in hours.

The gym is small but I think they did a good job with the space they had to work with. Its unfortunate that there are always machines down. They stay broken for long periods of time. Clean overall.The customer service is little to none. I forgot my tag twice and the guy told me I wouldnt be allowed back if I didnt have it next time. First of all, I use to work for LA Fitness and all you need to do is type in my phone number in but I guess that was too much work for him, or ask if I needed a new tag or maybe mention that I can do it with my phone. Dont tell me I wont be allowed back.The worse LA Fitness Ive been too. I wish they would close this and build a new one in dc with more space and a better team.This location has made me seriously consider canceling my membership and Ive been a member since 2017.

The place is always dirty. Bathrooms are always a mess. Taps don’t work, toilet doors don’t lock.Weights area has holes in the floor, broken mirrors. Dumbbells are never in order, equipment is always broken and dirty.And whoever ordered the equipment for the gym clearly doesn’t go to the gym. (Especially the leg press and leg extensions)I think the owners of this gym forgot they have a gym.

This location needs some work. It is always very hot and stuffy inside this gym, the equipment is much older than many other LA Fitness Ive been to, and the locker rooms and showers are nasty as if theyre not kept clean very often. I like that they will give you a courtesy towel up front, but they run out of them constantly. I used to want to come here more often when I worked in Farragut North area, but it was just too hot and filthy and I couldnt stand it.

Can’t cancel membership horrible company

LA Fitness is a good company, and their other facilities are nice. But this facility is a dump. The equipment is dated (over 11 years old). The lockers are dated as well. LA Fitness bought the facility from Results Gym, and was forced to buy the old equipment as well. Because they pay a lot of money to lease the space, they wont invest in new equipment. The AC system rarely works well. The place has a few leaks they cant keep fixed. Often the bathroom area smells like a back alley. The steam room rarely works well since they took over the space. Not long after they took over, they remodeled the place, but they brought back the old equipment. The best thing this facility has going for it is its downtown location. The reason I still go is my office is two blocks away, so I make it work for me. The condition of the place made me get a 2nd gym membership at Planet Fitness in SE DC. That place is much more nicer. I dont want to give up my membership because Ive been a member of Ballys/LA Fitness since 1999. The staff is friendly, but because of the dated equipment, I dont recommend joining. If you want to join LA Fitness, go to another location.

Nice Location and good equipment. However they are not always open during the hours posted. I scheduled a morning training session and the whole gym was closed when they were supposed to be open.

Perfect place for the price, gets the job done. $30/month for gym with nice equipment directly in front of Metro in Downtown DC... lockers, steam room, showers? Cant beat it. 5 Stars, thanks.

Dont know why this place has so many low star ratings. Its a really good gym-- has 2 squat racks, a cardio and weights floor, and group classes are included in the membership. The locker rooms arent anything fancy (the hair dryers are actually really bad at drying your hair and theres only one soap dispenser in each stall so I dont know if is body soap or shampoo) but they get the job done. Its worth it for the price in my opinion. Staff is also very nice and helpful-- personal trainers will give you advice if theyre not with a client and you ask

I like the variety of classes offered in the evening. It kind of sucks when you’re leaving that you have to climb 2 flights of steps (because you might be sore after a good workout). Staff is friendly. There is a private room for ladies to work out. Ladies bathrooms could be a bit cleaner.

The best part of this gym it its location, it is close to home, and close to my office. It is a small space, so after 5 pm, when the rush hour is, one can get somewhat claustrophobic. The workout equipment is not the newest. But this doesn’t bother me so much. One can get a good work out done with all the equipment that is available. There is a good energy in the gym with lots of young and some not so young people trying to stay fit and healthy.I am pleased to notice that the cleanliness of the gym has improved a lot lately.The new cleaning guys now are so much better than the ones we had in the past.One of the worst issues that I have with this gym though is the attendance by a couple of homeless guys suffering from schizophrenia.One of them comes in the morning; he is quiet and does not bother anyone. So that is OK.But the other one, who comes after 5-6 pm is a terrible thing. He puts all of his homeless possessions in one locker which he keeps locked at all times, including overnight, using it as a storage. That locker is contaminating the entire men’s locker room with bacteria and with a horrible smell. It is a real nightmare for all the guys trying to change their clothes or shower when that homeless man is there. The locker room smells like a homeless shelter. Not only that, but today I noticed that the homeless guy was scratching the skin of his entire naked body so hard with his hands and also against the wall, a true sign that he is infested with scabies. His skin was red everywhere. Scabies are contagious, so anyone of us can get them if we touch the surface of the benches in the locker room where the homeless guy is sitting and scratching himself.I have complained to the gym staff about the homeless guys issue but nothing changes, nothing is done. Does LA fitness have some kind of agreement with the DC homeless shelters? Do they provide hot shower services to the homeless as a form of charity? We will never really know but the fact is that the mens locker room can be a sorry sight with the presence of homeless people in it.

Do not join this gym! Rarely, do I take the time to write review for business, mostly because I understand that things happen good or bad and thats life. However, Im taking the time to do this because folks should know what they are joining when they sign up for this gym. Join at your own risk! Take your money and join a more high quality gym that doesnt take you or your monthly fee for granted.For starters, this gym claims to be a signature club. Ladies & Gentleman, there is nothing signature about this dump. All of the equipment, machines, facilities, and staff are all outdated and underwhelming. All they did was close the former results and replace the LA Fitness logo on the door. As a former resident of Chicago, I am aware of what a real signature club looks and feels like...this is not it. IThis place is just nasty. There is no more words to describe this location except nasty & filthy. And the clientele...dont get me started. Id rather pay Vida 3x the amount to ensure that I have a clean facility with up to date equipment to use.

If I could give this place a 0/5, I would. I’ve been a customer of LA fitness for over five years all over the country. This gym has ended that relationship. This facility has everything from broken equipment, missing toilets, absentee staff, random closures, and just a general disregard for running a business. I could give countless examples but to keep it short, save your money.

I was so excited to join this gym, great variety of equipment, located a 2 minute walk from my office so I decided to sign up for the complimentary week pass online to try it out before deciding between this and Golds....the staff was EXTREMELY rude when both I and my coworker came in and mentioned anything to do with the pass. On the final day I came at 7am to workout before work and the lady at the front desk refused to give me a towel and said I had to pay her for it, I told her that when I signed up I was told the towels were free with the complimentary pass and I can opt into the $10/month option once I sign up...she rolled her eyes, look around to indicate that she was the only one there, shrugged and said well.. So I had to use paper towels to dry off after my shower because I didnt have cash with me. On the way out I asked one of the trainers about the towels and he explained that they are in fact included with the pass.When my coworker initially went to activate his complimentary pass he was told that is no such thing as a complimentary pass and it ended weeks ago, I assume as an effort to get us to sign up that day....when he showed them the email with his pass on it they responded oh, that pass.I was extremely disappointed, it can already be an uncomfortable experience going to a new gym and then to have a staff that makes things more difficult....needless to say I did not enroll in the membership and will be paying the extra $10/month to go to Golds Gym on the next block.

Need a renovation! More open area! Ppl ust to go to LA fitness expect to see that open wide room to work out. This place is Not.

Morning staff at the front acts like they can’t hear or speak English

This gym has lost its shiny luster. Its not maintained or cleaned well. Im a but of a germaphobe and the lockers have smudges and stains. How hard is it to occasionally wipe them down? I do like the gym equipment, however.

Not a lot of option to work with, the room was small as well. When I went there it was crowded, all the machines were taken, it’s almost like a lined formed around the treadmill. The staff was friendly, and they were helpful when someone was off the machine I wanted, one of the girls came and got me so that was appreciated.

The gym is big and nice, but the locker room floor and counters are usually dirty. If they would clean up more this location would be rated higher. Great boot camp class in Saturday.

A friend of mine wanted to take me to check it out for the day, because I had been looking to join a gym. They wanted $15 for a guest pass. It seems strange there is no deal for members to get guest passes, or that a day pass is so expensive. Decided to go elsewhere.

Very minimal equipment - They need to have someone sitting in the gym at after work hours and realise that there is a freaking line waiting to use only two power racks that are available, which dont even have benches or available barbells, and only one smith machine. It is dangerous to do any barbell exercise outside of these and you need more. Get rid of the useless bench press stations - they are useless and dangerous and get more cages - they do NOT cost that much. You want us to sign a waiver that we cant sue you for injury, yet you do not provide enough equipment to keep us safe from injury. Not all of us work out with a buddy to protect us from falling bars. Use your common sense and your immense profits and invest it back into your gym. Design your gym based on how it is used. At 5:30-7:00, 80% of your customers are all in that tiny little corner where the free weights are, squashed, or waiting for the minimal equipment to be available. Why do you have so many variations of cable equipment? Poorly designed. And I am getting my money back.

What can I say the gym equipment is better than most gyms I been to . I just got my membership almost 3 months ago I havent had a problem here . The restrooms are clean and the water is warm.

I was at the LA fitness downtown in the sauna and saw a big roach in the womens sauna. I was absolutely disgusted and complained to the management who did not seem to really care. This place is the least sanitary gym I have ever been to, it is so sad that they do no take better care of their gym since there is so much bacteria and potential to contract staff in a gym environment.

I have been going here for 2 months now. The staff is great. The personal trainers are very knowledgable. And theres never a serious wait for a machine.

Buyer Beware- This place makes it next to impossible to Cancel a membership. You Literally have to MAIL in CANCELLATION forms in order to quit. Funny Enough you can do EVERYTHING else online. This is just a scam to keep people from being able to manage their memberships as they please.

In short - awful, filthy, disgusting. Often out of paper towels, soap, and toilet paper. Locker rooms are gross to say the least. Missing machines that have been at every other gym Ive been to. Outdated equipment, and every time it rains there are buckets everywhere for days afterwards. No sanitation stations means everything has a consistent, disgusting film on it. I only go here because its close to the office. Is not worth the savings over another gym close by, and Im ending my membership this month. This place is in shambles and needs to be updated. Its often very warm in there when it shouldnt be. Overall this is a last resort if you need something close by or need to save money on a membership over other gyms.

Its a good little gym that you can go for cheap. I heard the membership is a nightmare to get rid of, but otherwise, they facilities are fine, not super crowded (except around 5pm to 7pm). Opens on weekends.

Ive posted about the condition of this place in the past. Nothing has change.The sauna floors in the mens locker room has missing wood and rodents in the place that has been that way for over two months. Very disgusting and nasty. The only reason I gave it 3 stars it because its the only LA fitness in DC. The mens locker room restroom and showers have been under (since August 7th) repairs/maintenance for the past week. (shower & restroom out of service) youre instructed to go upstairs to for restroom breaks. This is unbelievable. Signs posted says repairs will be completed by Aug 12th. Ill believe it when I see it. Now the steam room is out of service. No signs posted as to when repairs are going to be stared or completed. The steam room have been out of service for the past 6 months, and as of today 2/4/20 still nothing has been done. Af of 2/15/20 Theyve repaired the holes in the ceiling in the mens restroom. The steam room is now up and running smoothly. Sauna floor replaced and only onr halve of tge bench has been replaced (less room to sit). Soap dispensers in the showers are kep full. And the locker is clean as one can expected....for now lets see how long they (management) keep this up. For now thet get (3) 🌟 🌟 🌟

Visited DC for a week and was given a complimentary guest pass. Staff were friendly and range of equipment good (including C2s). Did several sessions during the week and gym was never too busy. Id use again for sure.

I have been to several signature clubs which are kept neat and clean with lots of up to date equipment. There is nothing signature about this club!! Its so small and most of their equipment is outdated.Rarely I write reviews but this gym deserves a bad review. Just because they moved from Ballys, which was almost in the same conditions as this supposedly signature club, into a place with a steam room doesnt mean its a signature club. Thats all they upgraded to, a steam room, the place still sucks.

The bathrooms were fairly dirty and when they tried to clean them, the employee mixed the chemicals wrong and released alot of ammonia and other acrid fumes. Had to leave workout early. Never going again. Also the entryway catwalk drips water from condensation onto the weights in the freeweight area. Creates puddles and slip hazards.

Horrible Will NOT sign up. Equipment looked to be in good shape, the facility was nice enough and I think I could have been a happy member off that. If not for the poor attempt at reverse psychology, or the assumption that just because Im a female then I must not want to work on upper body equipment, or just the bullying technique used to oversell the product then perhaps I would look at becoming a member. 1st impressions are everything, and if the only investment in me was just close a deal or meet a quota then I will in fact be just another number in the LA Fitness system. I can do better, and LA Fitness may want to consider another way to entice future members because it was very off putting and unnecessary. I would rather pay more for a gym where the staff will not talk down to me or assume that I am lazy or unfamiliar with basic knowledge of how to do exercise and fitness programs... Clearly they were more interested in my money than in the responses that I gave them during the intro meeting.

I would not recommend this concentration camp to nobody. Cockroaches, filthy bathrooms, disrespectful staff, bums take showers there, and very small amount of amenities. WARNING STAY AWAY

Its almost 7 pm, there are no towels, two sinks are broken and a urinal is still out of commission. Its hot in here and sadly none of this is surprising. Im done with LA fitness

Hands down one of the worst gyms I have ever been too. That includes hotels, beach resorts, etc...The free weight section/area was small and overcrowded. The actua free weights themselves were rusted and outdated. If this was prison theyd be suitable but for a signature gym its unacceptable. The hardwood floor, lol, dirty and slippery. The shower was not only moldy but also smelled. I feel like going home and taking a shower after the shower I just took there.Id avoid this place at all costs. Nova and Montgomery County LA Fitnesss are MUCH better and cheaper.

Overcrowded and not very clean in the locker room area and there seems to be constant plumbing issues. The staff is only moderately friendly and often dont greet you when you enter. I recently found out that a former manager changed the type of membership I had without telling me.

Great Place To Visit for a Workout

Management has no interest in customer service and the corporate office packs the membership contract with tricks and hidden fees that make it extremely difficult to cancel the membership. Personal training is also a complete trap!!! Worse option for gym membership!!!

The whole experience when you walk in LA fitness is life changing

My issue with the club is a little more specific than a simple statement: On numerous occasions, the hot water has been unavailable and the showers valves degraded so poorly that water was running behind the tiling. This, of course, leads to mold and an eventual shut down of that particular shower. Inspections by the staff should be occurring regularly before it gets to a point where a shower has to be shut down for weeks. The members should also take more pride in their club and pick up behind themselves but thats a whole, nother story.Im really not understanding the hot water thing at all though and why it takes days to get the situation cleared up. If it happens with such frequency, and it does, I imagine its either due to faulty equipment or breakage of the same equipment. In either case, regular monthly maintenance should be able to solve this before it becomes problematic and yet it occurs much too frequently. I am writing this in January and the hot water has been unavailable going on 4 days now while temperatures are more than 10 degrees below freezing in the early morning.Cmon, LA Fitness. This isnt rocket science by far.

All I can say is OMG! Really they call this a gym? Its was basically an over sized hotel gym with a lot of cardio machines on 2 floors. The mens dry sauna is a liability lawsuit waiting to happen. The floor boards were warped and caving in. I seriously hope people do not pay very much to go here. If LA Fitness Corp office reads these reviews they need to visit this location ASAP! It surely does not live up to LA Fitness Brand.

Need better cleaning, cleaning wipes, better music. But good overall.

I lost my perfect shape after 2 months in this weird gym:( The worst LA fitness Ive ever seen! Absolutely ill-equipped. So much not enough machines for normal all muscle groups training! Also really bad working hours. And like almost everywhere in DC the place is dirty-ish... Only two goods here: 1. management is friendly and easy going (unlike all other fitness clubs abound where management is AWFUL) 2. Its pretty cheap. Especially for central DC area.

My brother and I call this place the S.I. (Staph Infection). The gym is literally only used for after work purposes when necessary (about once a month). There are no equipment sanitation units to wipe down your equipment. Its pretty nasty. I literally bring my own towel when I go there (they have towel service but not many places to put dirty towels). This is a sharp contrast to my primary LA Fitness in Waldorf, MD that is brand new, has sanitation units (no need for towel service), and new equipment. Not only is it bigger, but everything is clean. And get this, they still follow behind people and actually clean their equipment...shocker!

Horrible hours, extremely rude staff, place is usually dirty, and now the only good equipment is blocked for ‘training purposes’... highly recommend another gym.

I came here with a guest pass from a friend. Uchhh is all I can say. The lockers were disgustingly dirty. Filth everywhere. Dirty Towels everywhere. Water everywhere. The main floor was a mess as well. Never going back.

Compared to LA Fitness locations Ive been to in other cities, this one is tiny and the equipment is old. Best bet is to go at an off peak time or your options will be very limited
