Ms. Lee had my suit for a wedding I was attending all done and perfect days before I actually needed it. The fit was nice nice, she knew exactly what areas need to be taken in and by how much. She knew how to make it look flattering on me. Most of all the pants and blazer only cost me $100 and she did a lot to make it fit. Definitely a fair price. She’s funny, lively and a real pro. Don’t forget to tip!

Ms. Lee knows what shes doing! I brought in 6 pairs of pants to be hemmed and the turnaround time was less than a week! Prices are the absolute best in the area as well. Make sure to check her out if you need absolutely anything done related to alterations. Beware of another Ms. Lee in the area posing as their business! I took my suit to Ms. Lee to have some alterations done after a friend recommended her. She was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Ms. Lee did a great job altering my suit for a very reasonable price. Id definitely go again and recommend her to friends in the local area.

Fairly-priced alterations business in Georgetown. I paid about $130 for alterations to three suit jackets that all needed different things (hem the sleeves, bring in the waist, etc.). I was impressed that they have multiple changing rooms to try on your clothes before and after. The turn-around time is fast, and the quality of their tailoring is still good. If, in the process, they cant quite give you what you want, they will double check with you about possible alternatives before continuing.

I cant recommend Ms. Lee highly enough. Shes the most adorable and energetic woman who gets you in and out super quickly, while also making sure youre happy with every adjustment she makes. She took in the waists of six pairs of jeans in only 2 days for $25 each, which is very fair. Every pair fit me like a glove and looked so incredible, and I couldnt tell that they had been altered at all which is a huge feat. I randomly searched alteration places in DC and came across her shop in Georgetown, and thank god I did. Im never taking anything anywhere else. I love knowing that Im supporting a small business, especially since she has 25 years of experience. She has tons of returning customers if that tells you anything about her business.

Fast and amazing! I needed a mens tuxedo tailored for a weddinh. When I received back, after only 2 days, it fit me perfectly (Im a woman). She listened to exactly what I needed for the pants and the jacket. I have the ankles and knees taken in for a more modern look. She took in the waist of the jacket, the arms, and even underarms. Im going there for everything now.You should too.

Ms.Lee is truly the best. She’s fast and her prices are fair. She’ll be honest about what she can and can’t do, how things look, what you need for your body, etc. Now that I’ve found Ms.Lee I’ll never go anywhere else.

Take your wedding dress elsewhere!Ms. Lees came highly recommended when I was looking to have my wedding dress hemmed. After reading the reviews, I took the plunge and took my dress to them. The ladies are so very nice and I wanted to love their work - unfortunately, it was terrible...and expensive. What should have been a nice, clean rolled hem on a crepe gown was, instead, a spotty and poorly done machine stitch. The store has a sign asking customers to let them know if there is a problem...I didnt. I dont trust them to touch my dress for another moment. I feel insulted that they would do such an obviously poor job on such an incredibly important item.

Very disappointed in the service after all of the great reviews.I had a last minute wardrobe change before my wedding- I found a one of a kind pleated satin-ish skirt that needed hemming but only had about 2 weeks before my wedding to get it done. The first time I went to pick it up, it wasnt done and no one called me to tell me there was an issue with doing the alteration. This is now less than a week before my wedding, they needed to take up the skirt from the waistband instead- so I needed to rush home to get my shoes and come back to try it on again for a new fitting which could have been avoided if they just called me! Unfortunately the final product wasnt wearable. The pleats didnt lay flat around the waist anymore, they stuck straight out so I looked like I had a budge. Additionally there was a stitch that had been made about 5 inches below the waistband that was removed leaving holes in the skirt. It wasnt wearable for my wedding at this point.Another important thing to note here is that they claimed to not have taken it up from the bottom at all-but the skirt had very clearly been hemmed from the bottom- but even more obviously- it was shorter in the back and they hadnt removed the waistband from the back side of the skirt during the first attempt at an alteration. I brought this up when I saw it the skirt the first time and they were very weird and pushy about it. What I believe happened is that someone tried to take only the front up from the waistband to make the front shorter (because I wanted to leave a small train in the back)- but once they got into the waistband they ruined the skirt and then made up excuses..Not only is the skirt ruined, but I had to dump lots of money and time into finding a new outfit which caused me to be out of work for the rest of the week. No mater the event or the stressful small timeframe I had to get things done, the finished product was a ruined skirt and they were lying to me about what happened/ what they did to the skirt the first time they tried to alter it.
