Our family had a great time kayaking together here. Perfect even for the beginners and a fun way to get a different perspective of our city!

Super nice staff and nice view!I booked boating in DC at harborfront and came to the wrong place here. But the staff was super nice to help me rearrange two boats here without extra fee!My friends and I had a weekend afternoon here. Thanks a lot

Beautiful kayak down the river. They even have life-vests for dogs! Which we were very excited about. We rent a kayak and usually spend about an hour here. Enjoyable. The reason Im giving 3 stars is because of the service. Ive rented a few times here and its usually very slow service. I dont think they seem concerned in the slightest over your wait time or frustrations. Its a confusing process- renting not paying - coming pack - getting back into line. Nobody explains anything to you. Also recently I had an experience with an incredibly rude manager. I had moved a chair outside in the sitting area - slightly to the right to get out of the direct sunlight- while waiting for my daughter to splash and cool down in the splash park. I had a manager come over to me and speak extremely condecendingly about where I placed my chair. I guess it was too close to the building? It was so wild! I remember thinking - I cant believe this woman is speaking to me this way. I was dumbfounded. She was so rude- I wont be visiting here again. If the service was different- wed be back bc its a beautiful stretch! but needs some work.

Smooth rental process and easy to find. We had a ton of fun. The price is reasonable for the convenience and location.

Just did a sunset birthday cruise for my mother’s 75th with Shaod. He was very responsive, relaxed, and most importantly safe. He stopped at every wake and ensured we had a great time. He’s also a very personable and family oriented individual. Great all around.

The Recreation Pier was host to several performances and sponsored giveaways from tee shirts, sparkling water, to small potted plants to the children at the Boathouse area. The District Wharfs premier spring event called Cherry Blossom Petalpaloosa, drew large crowds for the one day event, that culminated with fire works.

Rented two persons kayak. My daughter (10 yrs) and I enjoyed the experience.

Love going here. Reasonable pricing for boating

The wharf is the place to be so many cocktail spots, restaurants and fun stuff going on right on the waterfront
