Best haircuts around and for only $20! Its a simple mens cut but they do it excellently and consistently.Can get busy on weekends but they are efficient.

I got my first barbershop haircut there in 1985. I also got my haircut there last week, first one since Feb 2020 cause of the rona. The place hasnt changed much in all that time, and I mean that in all the best ways.

Classic, no-frills barbershop that still offers the straight-razor shave. Camillo himself pops in and out and chats with the regulars. Quality haircut and shave at a reasonable price.

Wonderful barbershop! They really listen to what type of cut for your hair. Theyre very quick but skilled finishing my haircut fairly quickly with a clean razor cut and it looked great! Fairley cheap too only 20 dollars.

My first haircut after the pandemic lockdown was lifted was an unqualified success. The barber had never met me before but, after asking me just a few questions, proceeded to give me exactly the cut I wanted. I plan to be a repeat customer of Camillos.

Have been having my haircut here for approximately 7 months since arriving in this area of D.C. I can only recommend one barber since she is the only one Ive seen. Diane is friendly and will listen to your guidance very well. My hair is short and a little curly with a few cow licks which presents only minimal challenge. I recommend weekdays in the morning or as a second choice weekday afternoons to avoid waiting too long 5-10 minutes. Please tell her Mr. Kevin sent you. The Barbers do not listen; I have actually gone to Camillos six times to get a haircut and am now never going back. Despite telling the barbers that I do not want it cut short so that I can get a haircut every two weeks, they do not listen and cut it the way they want which seems to be very short. This last time the sides were uneven and even the taper was not regular. You can probably cut your own hair better than Camillos.

A dependably good cut, no matter who at this shop does the job. Most of the barbers have been there the entire 5 years Ive been going; they are for sure an experienced crew. They always finish with a straight razor cut to tidy up the hair line, which is a nice classic touch.

Excellent and professional barbershop! First-time walk-in and got seated immediately. Went midday Tuesday and it was fairly slow with at least five women working or waiting for customers. Was informed Mondays are the busiest as they are closed on Sunday. Very happy with my cut and service, will return!(Cash only)

I’ve been going to this place for close to 4+ months and I’m always satisfied with my cut.

This is a pretty spacious barber shop, with perhaps a dozen seats for waiting customers to relax in. Magazines and newspapers are available for thumbing through.When I visited during my lunch hour, there were four barbers present, so I was able to get into a chair immediately. Fifteen minutes later, my hair was neatly trimmed and my neck and sideburns had been shaved with a straight razor. Cost: $15 (before tip). I will be returning, for sure.

My old neighborhood barbershop when I lived in Windom Place, NW. Camillo still comes in but doesnt cut, and you get a great haircut without much wait at a fair price. It used to be all Italian barbers in the 1990s and now its mostly different immigrant barbers. Times change, but this is the same great place it has always been at its core.

I decided to take a chance at Camillos, and I ended up with a great haircut!I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and was helped right away. My haircut only took about 20-25 minutes. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Only $17 for a haircut.I give Camillos a 4/5 since it is cash only, but there is an ATM across the street (which I had to use). Also, the inside of the shop seems outdated and dirty. This barber shop is great for simple hairstyles.

Easily best barber shop in DC. Best price and they do a great job as long as you arent looking for anything too fancy. Highly recommended coming from someone used to old school NJ NY style barbershops.

Its a regular old neighborhood barbershop - the type that is increasingly difficult to find in DC. Everyone there is nice, the haircuts are good, especially if youre not looking for a salon experience, and its really affordable.Camillo is a riot, too, if you get the chance to talk to him.
